Surely it isn't true that everyone wants a puppy. There's a lot to be said for a mature three-year-old lady with perfect manners. I'm even housebroken. Let's hear you young pups say that! I only need someone to give me another chance at a good life.Petunia has already been spayed and is looking for her forever home! Story
Hey there, pals! Woof woof! I'm Cash, the ultimate show-off pooch who's been waiting patiently for his big break. You see, I've got this thing about carrying my treasures with me wherever I go—it's like my own personal parade, and I'm the star of the show! Whether it's my water bowl, toys, or even my comfiest blankets, I strut around like I own the place, proudly showing off my loot to anyone who'll give me a glance. But here's the scoop: underneath all this bravado, I'm just a big softie with a heart as big as my collection. I'm all about love and affection, and I'll jump at any chance to give kisses and snuggle up for belly rubs. Yep, you heard that right—I'm a cuddle connoisseur in the making! Now, I'll admit it—I haven't had the easiest journey. Found as a stray, I've been patiently waiting for my forever family to come claim me. But in the meantime, I'm making the most of every day, showing off my impressive collection of household items that I've, ahem, acquired. So here's the deal: if you're in the market for a sweet, silly, and lovable pup who's just a tad desperate but oh-so-sweet, then look no further! I'm Cash, and I'm here to make you smile. With my goofy antics and endless supply of love and affection, I promise to be the best four-legged friend you've ever had! Cash has been neutered and is ready to find his forever home. Story
Hey there, I'm Archer, but you can call me Buddy. I've got a story to share that proves the power of love and patience. Imagine spending four long months on the front of a building, wary of humans and unsure who to trust. Yeah, that was me. But thanks to some kind souls who showed me kindness and never gave up on me, I learned that people can be pretty awesome. Now, I'm a whole new pup! I love to play, and I'm even starting to show affection by giving kisses. Can you believe it? This sweet and loving demeanor of mine has won over the hearts of those around me, and I bet I can do the same for you. After months of gaining my trust and assuring me that they were the good guys, they finally got me inside where I could take the next step toward finding my forever family. And let me tell you, I'm ready! I'm a social butterfly, enjoying the company of both dogs and cats. Oh, and did I mention I'm housebroken? Yep, I'll even let you know when it's time to go outside. I've become quite the little greeter here at the front, always letting everyone know when visitors are here. But what I really want is a forever home to call my own. I've been neutered and am all set to join a loving family who will cherish me for the sweet, affectionate companion I am. So, what do you say? Ready to meet me and experience the joy of a dog who has overcome his fears and blossomed into a happy, loving pup? Let's make it happen! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 The adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations and deworming, Frontline application, spay or neuter surgery, collar, ID tag and a leash.  A $35 (non-refundable) deposit will hold the pet for you for 5 days. Call 803-536-3918 for more information or email at: aro.spca@outlook.com   October 26, 2024, 2:55 am

Story
Josie had a rough life to start, when she was a puppy, she almost didn't make it. Her and her siblings were filled with worms that almost took her life. She is nice and healthy. She loves people and loves dogs. She will need tested with a cat. She is always so happy. With a little training, she would be a great therapy dog for a person or taking to different places to meet people. She is looking for a family to call home

Story
Chancellor "Chance" is an amazing dog. However, he was not adjusting to rescue life very well, in the beginning, he went on a hunger strike that had us worried... he's eating now but you must spend time with him before meals. I'm sure that would change once he's comfortable in a home of his own. He just wants to be with you and went from what we assume was a life running wild and free, doing whatever he wanted as he was homeless. He waited in one spot for over a week for his people to come back for him. He waited through thunderstorms and bad weather for a family that, unfortunately, never came back for him, nor did they claim him when he was caught. When caught, he was confined to a kennel and was not adjusting well. His ideal home is with someone that has a large, fenced yard OR someone who doesn't mind taking him for walks frequently. He has good leash manners. He is a sweetheart who wants to climb in your lap and give you all the hugs he can. He loves car rides, although getting in the car is a bit scary, however, once he’s in the car, he absolutely loves it. He has some basic obedience and gets so happy when you tell him he's a good boy. He loves head scratches and big hugs with chest scratches. He also loves to be groomed and will allow you to brush him for hours on end, he gets excited when he sees a brush. Chance is an Adult-Senior male. Our best guess is Lab x Chow, but many, including myself, think he looks a bit like a Carolina Dog. As you can see, he's a cuddle bug and would make anyone the perfect companion. If you're looking for a dog that's going to give you unconditional love in exchange for the bare minimum, Chance is the guy for you!
