Story
Noodle is a one and a half year old, 30 pound bundle of sweetness. This affectionate female Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix has already overcome more than any dog ever should, She came from a hoarding situation where she bravely carried and lost a litter of puppies. But despite her difficult beginnings, Noodle's spirit is gentle, loving and hopeful. At home, Noodle is an absolute dream. She loves her crate and sees it as a safe, cozy space. She uses the doggy door like a pro and is fully house-trained - no accidents here. She’s a medium-energy, mid-sized girl who is terrific with children and happily plays with her foster's grandkid. She also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and adores cats, making her an easy fit for a multi-pet home. Noodle is smart, affectionate, and deeply connected to her people. She has no food aggression (though she may politely - but intensely - admire whatever you're eating). Her favorite place in the world is right next to you: on the couch, in the bed, or curled up for a close snuggle. She thrives on companionship and bring a calm, happy presence to any home she's in. Car rides are currently a challenge for Noodle. She becomes anxious and uncomfortable in the car, showing signs like shaking, panting and drooling. Once she's back home, she quickly relaxes and returns to her playful, loving self. With patience, reassurance and positive experiences, we're sure this challenge is something Noodle will continue to improve on. Noodle walks beautifully on a leash but she is still learning about the big wide world outside, and may get a little spooked at new things she encounters at first. But with encouragement, she quickly starts to gain confidence. Noodle is a resilient, tender-hearted dog who wants nothing more than safety, love and closeness with her people. She will thrive in a home that’s patient and understanding as she navigates new experiences. She’d benefit from a confident dog companion and dog-savvy children who respect her gentle and alert nature. Noodle has so much affection to give and will make a loyal, devoted companion to someone ready to cherish her as much as she deserves. Could your home be the perfect place for this sweet girl to shine?Noodles videos :https://youtube.com/shorts/qiBYThJVm18?si=3DbhrIo5XqPwAMihhttps://youtube.com/shorts/nCVYSCiQsSw?si=ylYg622kkGDjRNdHhttps://youtu.be/77cRKgJjow0?si=JS9C5CydxpFpkmVhhttps://youtu.be/zlQ7qNfD1zI?si=epZHje-MiKg_8k94Name: NoodleBreed: Labrador Retriever/TerrierSex: FemaleAge: 1 year (estimated)Weight: 30lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $550.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently: Texas IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
