Story
Allow me to introduce you to Blake, an endearing 1-year-old Labrador retriever mix who is eager to find his forever home! 🐾❤️ This sweet boy is the epitome of love and affection, thriving on the attention he receives from those around him. To describe him as snuggly would be an understatement; he is the kind of dog who will curl up next to you, seeking warmth and companionship, making every moment spent together feel special. Although he may initially be a bit shy, once he warms up, you will find that his affection knows no bounds. The time you invest in helping him feel secure will be rewarded with endless snuggles and unwavering loyalty. His foster family has an abundance of wonderful things to say about him. They have witnessed firsthand how deeply he loves and how he connects with those he trusts. Blake loves deeply and unconditionally. His foster grandma, in particular, is smitten with him. She often mentions that she has never seen a pet look at her with such adoration and admiration. Every night, Blake snuggles up in bed with her, providing comfort and companionship thar only a devoted dog can offer. Blake's gentle temperament extends to his interactions with others. He is typically walked by the 7-year-old little girl in his foster home, which speaks volumes about his kind nature and how well he interacts with children. His behavior on a leash is nothing short of amazing, as he walks alongside his little human buddy with grace and ease. Blake listens attentively and responds well to commands, demonstrating his eagerness to please and his desire to be a good companion. In addition to being crate and potty trained, Blake is adaptable and well-mannered, making him a perfect addition to any household. He thrives in environments where he can feel safe and loved. His gentle demeanor extends beyond just humans; he gets along exceptionally well with kids, cats, pigs, horses, and other dogs. This social butterfly truly embodies the spirit of companionship, loving everyone he meets. Blake is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on the lookout for his forever home—one where he can share his boundless love and affection with a family that will cherish him as he deserves. His ideal home would be one filled with warmth, kindness, and the understanding that he has so much love to give. If you’re ready to welcome a loyal companion into your life, Blake could be the perfect match for you! ❤️ RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Story
This handsome bobtailed boy is called Stevie, short for Steve Cropper.  He was found on a very hot and dry August day the first of August and honestly he was near death from lack of food and water.  The asphalt was treacherously hot and his body was not holding up in all the 100+ degree heat.   A kind soul who is in the music industry took him home but honestly could not house him for more than a few days due to heavy travel and being on the road with his music obligations.  Some people told him to do just take him to a shelter (they are full) and lie about him trying to bite a child.  That way they would take him and put him to sleep for safety of the community.  This could not have been the fartherest thing from the truth.  A wonderful foster for Critter Cavalry was contacted and she absolutely jumped at the chance to help Stevie.   No regrets for one minute that she did either.  He is a wonderful  1 year, 50 pound boy that is  Lab/Aussie/Pit mix and possesses the most caring heart and kindest spirit.  He plays with everyone at the doggie daycare and wags that nub of a tail as fast as he can wag it when greeting people.  He is a dog that didn’t deserve to be euthanized when all the options were not exhausted.  We know that this smart and playful boy will be some family’s prized possession and love.  He is housetrained it seems and he is crate trained as well.  He is respectful of other dogs and their space and not once ounce of bad traits exist in this boy.  Step right up and let’s consider Stevie for your family or just you if you are single.  Write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Benny- 60 lb, 12  months old, black with white paws, lab/shepard mix    Handsome Benny may look full grown but he's still just a playful, energetic puppy! This boy loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, he requires a fenced in yard where the fence is at least 5 ft high so he can run and explore. He needs a doggie playmate.  He's agile enough to jump a fence should he want to, even though he has not tried at his foster home. He knows commands like come, sit and paw. Benny is a quiet, very friendly pup and great with people. He looks forward to cuddling up on the couch with his family. We think he would do very well in a two dog household as he does get lonely and bored when left alone. Exercise is a must for this boy so an active family would be great for him. He is fully potty trained.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Meet Sinatra!  This sweet 5 year old 50 lb lab mix is the ultimate family dog.  He loves everyone and we mean everyone.  Whether you have 2 or 4 legs Sinatra does not meet a stranger.  This poor boy was put outside by his owner and ignored.  It was up to the neighbors to take care of him.  After the remnants of Herricane Helene came through Nashville and even then Sinatra was left outside, the neighbors had had enough.  They contacted Critter Cavalry and the owner could not surrender him fast enough.  Now Sinatra is inside in a wonderful foster home with a great foster mom and her big dog who always welcomes the fosters with a smile and a wagging tail.  After two days Sinatra has settled in and become fast friends with his foster brother.  Believe it or not this fantastic boy is house broken, walks well on a leash and can be left out in the house.  Someone loved him once and it is time for a family to love him again.  Sinatra has the softest fur and he loves to be petted.  You can't go wrong if you add this boy to your family.  Sinatra is ready to find his forever home.  Don't miss out on this great boy.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Sinatra is in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Hi everyone My name is Jillian and I am your next Energizer bunny pup that will keep you laughing and keep you active and make you happy that I'm around. I'm a young lab mixed girl that was born August 26th and I am at the perfect age to adopt me and start working on all the wonderful dog manners and habits that will make me the perfect girl. I truly am smart as a whip and a ton of fun. I would love to live with a family that has an adult dog that I can hang out with and have them be my mentor and big brother or sister.  I would be fine with cats if I'm introduced to them now. I probably might chase at first just for fun and to make them play with me.  Maybe they will turn around and we could have a grand time together. I am learning about crates and I am learning about a leash and I am learning that the world is big and I intend to explore all of it. I am currently 12 lbs and I will probably be a 45 to 50 lb adult dog. I have beautiful black cold shiny eyes with a soft coat of fur that you will love to stroke and pet. I'm looking for a home now and just in time for Thanksgiving. I'll come and snuggle with you too at all the right moments and maybe even share a turkey leg with the right family that has a fenced in yard and athletic people to play with me. If you are interested please contact Critter Cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 7, 2024, 11:04 pm

Story
My name is Buddy boy and I am a very sweet and easygoing 12 week old lab mix puppy who is looking for a wonderful family for the holidays. I would love to start off my holiday season getting to know some wonderful kids and mom and dad that I can grow up with. I came from a home that had too many dogs and none of them were fixed. There were several mama dogs with puppies. I was lucky to get out when I did. Me and my sister love to cuddle and we are looking forward to cuddling with humans in the future. I am still working on housebreaking and will need some leash training. I'm just so young and so carefree that my foster mom hasn't really started me on a leash. I am handsome, or so they tell me, and I am going to grow up to be about a 50 lb adult dog. If you are interested in adopting me, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 7, 2024, 11:04 pm
