Story
Ebbi has endured unimaginable hardship, but despite her past, she remains a loving and trusting soul. When she was rescued, it was clear that she had experienced severe trauma, with scars and bite marks from past attacks. Now, she’s ready to put her painful past behind her and find the loving family she truly deserves. This sweet and gentle girl is the perfect companion. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash. Ebbi loves being around people and has so much affection to give. She enjoys relaxing and lounging, always seeking the comfort of being near her humans. A quiet, calm home where she can unwind and receive all the attention would be ideal for her. She’s done great around our 2 month old daughter. Ebbi can be a bit guarded around other dogs, but who could blame her after all she’s been through? She might do well with a laid-back dog after a few meet-and-greets, but we recommend taking it slow. She has been fine with calm dogs when outside, though she needs her personal space and gets anxious when dogs approach her too quickly. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who simply wants to cuddle and relax by your side, Ebbi might be the perfect match for you. Please consider opening your heart and home to this sweet girl who deserves a lifetime of peace, love, and comfort. KL#18627 Harrison City ##2252509##

Story
Hi I am Shadow, formerly known as Fizz........... and I am sad and confused currently, but am sure it will pass, right?  You see I was adopted by my best friend about a year ago.  This guy, he really "got me", he was patient while I settled in, it takes me a few days to get comfy.  Don't get me wrong I will love you right off the bat, as I love all people and other doggos so much, but in a I will pace around a bit and try to find the perfect rest spot in the house for me kinda way.  New digs are a bit scary and I want to make sure I fully check the place out.  He understood that I love toys, I won't destroy them (or anything else) I will just play and play with my toys.  I am crate trained and house broken, however I will tinkle a little if you grab at me too fast (I don't have a mean bone in my body so when I am scared I just leak a bit)..... someone must not have been too nice to me along the way...............once I new my best friend wasn't going to hurt me that stopped.  Man, I sure do miss that dude.   A little more about me, the call me a lab mix, I am super smart like I hear that labs are.  I am proud to show you all of my tricks, sit lay down, spin in circles (that makes me dizzy, but I don't mind), I come when I am called and I walk decently on the leash.  I will get better if I went for more walkies, but right now I am just excited to go.  I am about three (or maybe four) years old, not sure since I was originally a stray.  I am definately a mix though because you see I am a small guy, only 25lbs.  So I have the best of both worlds big old brain, small little body!  What else can I tell you--- oh, you are probably wondering what happened to the BFF, well I am not exactly sure.  He returned me back to the rescue and said he was too busy for little ol' me.  The rescue people made room and even reunited me with my original foster, as they didn't want me to be any more sad or confused.  I recognized my old foster pup brothers and sisters right away and we got to get all caught up and they help me get over missing my friend.  I would do absolutely fine in a house with or without other pups, but would like humans who want to hang out and are around more than not-- as you can guess I don't like that "busy" word.  I am not sure, if I ever met a cat, but if you have one and want to adopt me, my foster would get me cat tested.   I am available for adoption today at pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt.  Paws Across Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh- PA 15144 KL#16182.  ##1982188##

Meet Bailey! The Sweetest Lab Mix Looking for Her Forever Home! Bailey is a 6-month-old, 48lb lab mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! This sweet girl has spent her entire young life in an overcrowded, noisy shelter before Paws Across Pittsburgh stepped in to give her a second chance. Bailey’s Best Qualities: Super smart & eager to please House-trained (with an occasional puppy accident) Crate-trained (though she’s not thrilled about going in at first) Gets along great with dogs, loves people, & enjoys playing with cats! Loves toys, playtime, and snuggles! Bailey can be a little timid when meeting new people, sometimes letting out a few nervous barks, but once she realizes you’re a friend, she warms up quickly! She’s still learning not to nibble when giving kisses, but she’s improving every day. Bailey would be best in a home without little kids because of her size and energy.  Bailey is: Spayed Microchipped Up to date on all vaccines Bailey will be available for adoption on or after February 2nd through Paws Across Pittsburgh! If you think this lovable pup could be the perfect addition to your family, apply online today at www.pawsacrosspittsburgh.com. Story
Meet Snoop!Snoop is a fun-loving, energetic 60lb, 2-year-old Lab mix who's always up for adventure and snuggles. Just like his famous namesake, Snoop is universally liked and gets along with everyone! He’s great with kids and takes treats gently. While he’s still working on his greeting manners (he loves to jump up to say hello), he’s already mastered not jumping on children. Snoop is fully housetrained—he rings the bell on the door when he needs to go out or waits patiently for you to take him every few hours. He’s never had an accident in the house! He’s also crate trained and happily goes into his crate when it’s time, but he’s equally well-behaved outside of it and shows no signs of destructive behavior. While Snoop could use some improvement on his leash manners, he’s incredibly sweet and knows how to relax as a couch potato after some exercise. He would be in heaven with a home where he gets endless pets, attention and gets to hang out with his people! Snoop would thrive in an active family or with someone who has time to engage with him, whether through play or training. He’s looking for a forever home where he can share his love and energy. He would be happy to live with another dog or cat or would even content to just live with his human besties.  ##2291348##

Story
Miles is one great dog. He was originally found in Texas outside of a mechanic shop, and was taken to a local shelter. We have had him about a year and found out we are pregnant and just can’t give him what he deserves. He is 100% potty trained, has never had any accidents since we have had him. He is a power chewer and loves his bones/Kong to keep busy. He knows heel very well and walks beautifully on a leash by your side. He loves looking out the window and running in our backyard. He is great with kids of all ages, every dog (even toy breeds), but can be a bit reactive on walks seeing other dogs. He loves to be active and is about 2 years old according to our vet. He is fully up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, and on frontline. He does have genetic atopic dermatitis and needs to be on Apoquel indefinitely. Needs an active loving home to call his own. He comes with a Kennel, bowl set, tempurpedic bed, his limited ingredient food, collar, harness, and leash.
