Story
Hey there, I'm Auggie, and I'm your laid-back canine companion with playful and active, medium energy. I am 4 or 5 years old and about 70 chesty lbs of wonderful.  I'm a happy boy, gentle, confident, and always attentive to the needs of my human pals. I am good with everyone I meet and with dogs, and can be cat tested. I am really such a great family dog and well mannered and eager to please. Just a great guy, looking for my forever family. I promise, I will not disappoint.  (IF YOU DO NOT GET A REPLY EMAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS, CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX AND SEND US YOUR PHONE NUMBER, FOR WE REPLY EVERY FEW HOURS TO EMAILS) LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)     July 3, 2024, 8:39 am

Story
Bubba is the best and sweetest boy. He is maybe a year old at most, and so playful and gentle and super affectionate. Loves getting and giving kisses, and all he wants to do is be with his people and show you what a great dog he is. Bubba is about 45 lbs and looks just like a stocky little Lab, with short legs, and a little bit of an underbite. Guessing what he is mixed with, but whatever it is, he is just the best. Great in any situation and with people, dogs and we can cat test. A must meet, for he will steal your heart for sure. Great pup... Story
We purchased Remy from a good breeder in October of 2023. He is now 11 months old, house trained and to obey basic commands such as sit, come, down and "no". Still very much a puppy, extremely friendly and playful. Currently still training but has a tendency to get excited meeting strangers and wants to jump up probably on kids as well. He will play fetch all day long or until he gets tired. Likes to chew on his toys but does not have a tendency to be destructive in the house. Needs a property large enough to give him a little room to run because he has a lot of energy and occasionally gets the zoomies. He does love the outdoors and seems to be animal friendly. Our experience meeting other dogs is that he will cautiously approach with a strong interest to play. Older or aggressive dogs may not receive that well. But paired with dogs with his personality will just become a play all day event. His appetite is good at about two meals a day but he will eat when he is hungry.

Story
Cookie is a great puppy. She is 11 months old and very sweet and gentle. She is the more short type coated doodle of sorts, and weighs about 45 lbs. Cookie is great with dogs and gentle and wonderful with everyone she meets. A pretty calm dog, for such a young dog. Cookie loves to carry a toy or ball in her mouth - it is so cute. She will do best with another dog and she is good with kids and cats. A must meet, for this sweet pup will steal your heart for sure. Crate trained and walks great on leash. So much cuter in person and not sure of her exact mix. Marshie is a stunner ??Those eyes will get you every time .We have her listed as a lab mix and she's coming into her own at the shelter.Shes approximately 3 years old and has been navigating the leash very well. She's tested well with other dogs , no cats. No small children as they appear to be overwhelming to her. She's a really nice girl with a good demeanor . She's silly loving and supremely affectionate. She loves car rides and open trails . She (like all other shelter dogs) will need decompression time while acclimating to a new home. She came to us after being pushed from a car on Marshwood Rd .We aren't sure what she's been through but we can promise her a better future .Marshies adoption fee has been lovingly sponsored ??by the Simmons Family.
