Story
Nash is a good boy. He loves everyone. He’s a year old so he still has that puppy energy. He’s not a barker when inside. He loves to go on walks. He needs a home where he has more freedom to roam. I had to move my elderly mother into my home and she is not good on her feet so Nash spends too much time either in his crate or in my partially finished basement. I have very small dogs and he has never shown any aggression towards them. He needs more attention than I can give him. He is up to date with his shots and is fixed.

Story
Topi and Apple are now ready for adoption......these two gems have seriously bonded since being in foster together and we just don't have the heart to separate them. Apple would be devastated to be away from Topi, so we have decided to post them for adoption as a bonded pair. ❤ Both of these dogs are completely vetted, house trained, happy, love to be outside sunbathing, are very well socialized with other dogs, both are very affectionate and absolutely wonderful companions for some lucky family. Apple is around 9 months old and weighs about 80 lbs., but is thin and still growing. Topi is a 5 year old beauty, who is a total babysitter for all dogs, people and kids...She likes to hold hands with her people and give kisses...❤ Topi has lost 20 lbs. since we saved her, but could stand to lose about 10-15 more!...Her current weight is 79 lbs. Topi enjoys chasing birds and squirrels and has chased stray cats, so a home without cats is recommended. If you live in the northeast USA or Texas and are interested in adopting these two very special girls, please fill out an adoption application. You can't go wrong with Topi and Apple! Hope to hear from you soon....❤...Topi and Apple are completely vetted and will come with their vet records, beds, balls, bones, brand new harnesses, collars, leashes and food for transitioning. Their adoption fee is $375 EACH = $750, which includes transportation. Topi and Apple are being fostered in Texas.
We'll also keep you updated on Apple's adoption status with email updates.

Story
We have a VERY special boy who is looking for his forever home. Meet Kal, whose owner surrendered him to us, because he is leaving the country and wanted to make sure his boy got the very best home. Kal's owner picked him up as a stray a couple of years ago, when he found him abandoned on a ranch in Texas. Since then, Kal has been a very loyal companion. He is a very CALM boy, who knows basic commands, is house trained, very loving and just an all-around good guy ❤ Kal is a big, 6-7 year old, weighing in at about 150 lbs., but could stand to lose a little weight to protect his joints. Kal would be the perfect companion for a retired couple or someone who works from home, who live in a rural setting, as Kal is used to living in the country with his retired owner. Kal would be perfectly happy as a single dog, as people are his focus, but gets along fine with the other dogs in his playgroup, he just doesn't show any interest in playing. That said, if you live in the Northeast OR Texas and are interested in giving this sweet guy a home, please fill out an adoption application. Hope to hear from you soon......Kal's adoption fee is $500, which includes complete vetting and medical record, new bed, Harness, leashes, collar, ball, bone, food for transitioning and transport to his new home.... Kal is currently in boarding in Texas.

Story
Hello, I`m Blue! I was surrendered to the shelter and now I am looking to find my real furever home. I am a social butterfly who enjoys being with people and getting lots of TLC and attention. I have been around kids, dogs, and cats as well. Despite my small stature I have a big voice and like to express myself with sound. I have a lot of energy and I like to play and just be my silly self to make you smile. I am an absolute sweetheart who deserves the very best, because I will give so much love and companionship in return! ---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.1/14/25 Sanford is in need of a foster home or adopter. When i say this is a WONDERFUL dog, I mean it with all my heart. This guy is the easiest dog ever. He bothers absolutely nothing. He is so content to just curl up in his bed and sleep all day. He is almost totally house trained (only a couple accidents when I didn't let him out fast enough). He's quiet and you wouldn't even know he's there, except when he hears a car start up, because he wants to ride. He is soooo submissive to other dogs which brings me to the reason for looking for another foster/adopter. My dogs all have strong personalities. No one has attacked him or anything like that. But one growl from one of them, and he immediately goes to his crate or the bathroom closet that he has claimed as his own. It breaks my heart for him to be so secluded. Tonight, for the first time, I got him to come into the living room with us while we were having some down time. I was so proud of him for finally having the courage to come in here! He was doing great, until he came to rest his head on the back of the couch behind me, and Thelma snapped at him. He immediately ran to the bathroom and now won't come back. It's so sad. He wants to be with people. He LOVES ALL PEOPLE. And he would love a dog companion who is mellow like him, that would accept him. He is very sensitive and gets his feelings hurt when my dogs are ugly to him, and it breaks my heart so much to see him hide away, spending all day and night alone. He deserves better than this. He has the kindest, most gentle soul, and all the love in the world to give. His only negative is that he will bolt if you don't have a fence. I don't think he really wants to get away, he just seems to have that hound mentality and follows his nose, which could be dangerous for him. So a secure fence would be best. It doesn't have to be super tall, ours in only 4ft in front and he has never tried to jump or climb it. Other than that, he is the perfect companion and friend. Sanford came to us with a badly broken jaw. He is estimated 10 years old. We've had his jaw repaired, but he still has a tooth that sticks out and his bottom lip is droopy. This is just how he is now, and I've told him it only makes him more interesting and handsome. He does have heartworm and has just finished his 30 days of doxy, so he will be getting his injections to get rid of the heartworms this week. We hope and pray for no complications with that. We just want him to be healthy. He is the sweetest, most kind hearted dog I've ever met. And he deserves to spend the rest of his life surrounded by a family who loves him, not secluded in a crate or closet all alone. If you would consider opening your home to this distinguished gentleman, please message me with any questions or more info. Whoever ends up with him will be so lucky. He will love you with his whole heart. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.  Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays Port Jervis, NY 5am Fridays or Southington, CT 8am Fridays  East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays  To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any details questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
