Story
Hi there, I’m Chester! I’m a two-year-old black Lab mix, and let me tell you, being part Lab means I’ve got some pretty amazing traits going for me. Labs are known for being smart, loyal, and loving, and I’m no exception. I might not have the papers, but I’ve got all the heart and charm of a true Lab! I started out as a stray, but those tough days are behind me now, and I’m dreaming of a bright future with my forever family. Whether you’re a seasoned dog lover or new to the world of canine companions, I’m the perfect choice. Why? Because I’m gentle, playful, and oh-so-affectionate. I live for cuddles, belly rubs, and showering my humans with kisses. Seriously, I might just be the best snuggle buddy you’ll ever meet! Don’t let my sleek black coat fool you—I’m not just handsome, I’m also super friendly with people and other dogs. That means I’d fit right in with just about any family setup. Got kids who want a new best friend? I’m your guy. Other pups in the house? Let’s be buddies. Or maybe you’re looking for a loyal sidekick to share your solo adventures? I’d love to be your shadow. At two years old, I’m the perfect age. I’m past the wild puppy stage, but still young and full of energy for hikes, playtime, or even learning new tricks. Labs like me are eager to please, so training me to fit into your life will be a breeze. And when the day is done, I’m happy to wind down and relax with you—maybe with my head in your lap, if you don’t mind. I’ve got a big heart, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. If you’re looking for a lifelong best friend who’s equal parts goofy and sweet, I’m the one for you. Come meet me and see for yourself—I promise you won’t be able to resist my wagging tail and big smile! Love always, Chester Chester's adoption fee is $275. Story
Hi there! My name’s Tawny, and I’m just about the happiest girl you’ll ever meet! I’m 1 year and 8 months old, which means I’m still full of puppy playfulness, but I’m also learning how to be a proper young lady. I came from a breeder, but now I’m ready to leave that life behind and focus on what really matters: finding my forever family. Could that be you? Let me tell you a little about myself. First of all, I LOVE to play! Toys are my absolute favorite thing in the world, especially when we can make a game out of them. Got a ball or a squeaky toy? You just became my new best friend. And don’t get me started on snow—it’s like my personal playground. I can’t get enough of romping and rolling around in it! I’m also great with other dogs. I’ve been living with canine pals, and I’m always up for a game of chase or just hanging out together. If you have another dog at home, I’d love to meet them! As for my leash skills, well, let’s just say I’m a work in progress, but with a harness and a little patience, I’ll have it mastered in no time. I promise I’m a quick learner! My gentle, sweet nature will win you over in a heartbeat. I’m spayed, up-to-date on everything, and all I need now is a family to call my own. So, what do you say? Let’s make this the best chapter of both our lives—together! Tawny's adoption fee is $275. "Weee are the champions, my frieeends!" Oh, sorry, I got carried away there. Hey, I’m Champ! And yeah, you guessed it—I *am* the champion of love, snuggles, and being an all-around good boy. At 3 years and 2 months old, I’m the perfect mix of mature and fun-loving. I’m a medium-to-low energy kind of guy, so while I enjoy a nice walk or a romp in the yard, I’m equally content just hanging out and keeping you company. Life’s all about balance, right? I’m great with other dogs, especially the smaller ones. I don’t throw my weight around or act like the boss—nah, that’s not my style. I’m more of a chill “dad vibes” kind of guy. I like to keep the peace, make sure everyone’s happy, and just enjoy the good things in life. I’ve been neutered and am ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a big, sweet boy who will always have your back (and maybe serenade you with a Queen anthem every now and then), I’m your guy. Let’s meet soon—I’ll be the one humming We Are the Champions and wagging my tail just for you! Champ's adoption fee is $275. ### Sweet and Shy Phil Needs a Loving Home Phil is an incredibly sweet boy who is a bit shy but full of love to give. He adores attention and loves to snuggle up and watch TV with you all day long! Phil gets along wonderfully with other dogs and thrives in the company of a playful, friendly canine companion. Having just graduated from our Paws-In-Prison program, Phil has learned all kinds of manners and obedience. He completed two sessions to help him overcome his shyness. While he has made great progress, he remains timid and would benefit from a calm, understanding home that has the patience and time to help him explore the world and overcome his shyness. **Phil Needs:** - A calm environment - A second playful dog in the home - Older kids, calm kids, or no kids - A physical fenced yard due to his shyness Phil was extensively socialized as a pup, but he remains shy despite this. However, his lovable Labrador traits shine through! **Phil's Traits:** - Sweet - Goofy - Food motivated - LOVES people - Playful - Good with dogs - Loves water Phil is ready to find a family that will understand and cherish his gentle nature. Phil's adoption fee has been waived for the right home! FYI- he LOVES & ADORES her BFF Winnie that is also available for adoption, She also completed the Paws-In-Prison program, Canine Partners Program only places our dogs and puppies into homes that meet "their" needs!
