Story
Louie is a 3-yr old male lab mix, originally from the streets of Mexico. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his shots. Louie is a sweet, gentle dog who loves to snuggle up next to his humans. He'd love being in a home where his people are home most of the day, because he likes settling in the room that his humans are in. He does great with kids of all ages. Louie is eager to please and loves learning, he's also a talker! Unfortunately, Louie tore his CCL on a hike in October of 2023, (ACL in human bodies) and had surgery as a result. He does great on leashed walks with occasional off-leash times, but if he runs too hard or hikes too long, he gets sore. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy to stroll around the neighborhood with, Louie is your dog! He has so much love to give. I am a therapist and intended for Louie to become part of my practice as a therapy dog.  Unfortunately, we're rehoming Louie because he alert barks more than will work in an office setting.

Story
We are looking to rehome our sweet energetic mixed breed boy. We adopted Tucker from a local rescue organization at 3 months old. He is now 7 months old and we’ve realized that our family lifestyle and his energy needs don’t align. Tucker is a very sweet, lovable, mixed breed, high energy boy that would make the perfect hiking and exercise companion for someone who has an active lifestyle. He loves the outdoors and to play. He is very trainable. He was potty trained in one week at 3 months old, knows how to sit for food, and lay down. He loves treats, toys, people, other pets and kids. He can get rowdy and doesn’t realize his size sometimes. We had a dog DNA test done and his top breeds are Labrador Retriever, Great Pyrenees, Greyhound, Boarder Collie, American Staffordshire Terrier and more (we will share the report with his new family). He is housebroken, up to date on all shots, and neutered. We love this boy and want the best life for him.

Story
Herbo is a young almost 2 year old sweet lab who doesn’t know his size. He loves to be affectionate and wants companionship. He grew up with another Lab but unfortunately has not taken well to other dogs. He has a lot of energy which in turn I think turns into anxiety when he can’t exert it. He is basic trained but needs more work for formal training. His ideal ownership would be someone who can devote majority of their time with him and make him feel seen/loved in addition to hopefully one day, helping him make new friends without getting aggressive. He means well and just wants attention. Given his needs, I don’t want to make him suffer by not being able to provide what I listed above. He’s still young and deserves a full life with the attention he needs and deserves. I’m not looking for anything in return, just the right home for him.

Story
Cocoa is super-smart sweetheart who is frequently stubborn. She tends to be high-energy, with periods of couch potato-ing during the during the day, but after 7:00 PM all she wants to do is snooze and cuddle. Why we're rehoming: Cocoa recently decided she no longer wants to get along with our golden retriever. We can’t keep them in the same house, and keeping them separated in our home just isn’t possible without a loss of quality of life for both pups. Although she loves other dogs out in public and at the dog park, I believe she would be best placed in a home where she is the only dog, with a family who can give her their full attention. She's a darling girl who deserves the best. Best suited in a home with tweens or older.
