Story
Meet Mr. Social Butterfly, aka Radish. He is super curious, playful, very social, and friendly. He's good on walks and doesn't pull much except when he wants to say hi to other dogs and people. Radish was born around August 2021. He weighs about 98 lbs and has a gorgeous white coat with tan, yellow and fawn color markings. His canine DNA test results were Great Pyrenees, mix with Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd.  Radish is very loving, cuddly, and loves belly rubs. He enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes and gets along with cats. He's intelligent, attentive, eager to learn new tricks, and commands and picks them up very quickly. His favorite toy is a stuffed dinosaur, and he loves the water. He doesn't love the crate but does relatively well in it.  ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206. Story
Hot Wheels SEEKS HIS FOREVER FAMILY who is committed to giving him nothing but happy days for the rest of his life. For a low adoption fee, you can bring home this $15,000 family member. A video of “Wheels” was shared showing him dragging his back end. The Right to Live Rescue took him into rescue. He was covered in fleas and had severe dragging wounds. He had back surgery with a 50/50 chance of success. Then, he had one of his broken back legs reset and plated. He started hydrotherapy and seemed to be doing well. Sadly, he developed a flesh-eating bacteria on his back legs causing one to be removed. He stayed at the Vet’s office for about 5-6 weeks while they worked to clear him of the infection and open another gaping wound in his remaining and plated rear leg. He has no idea he is different than the other dogs. He loves to go on walks in his wheelchair. He does zoomies around the yard and chases the others and even plays tug-of-war with a 112 pound lab/pittie/mutt foster brother. He loves to have his ears rubbed since he cannot scratch them himself. He loves to scoot through his splash pad on hot days and wade in his inflatable pool. He turns in circles like a top when he gets excited which is when he is getting fed or sees you come home. He can pee and poop on his own but he sometimes does that in his sleep or when he’s excited. He dribbles a bit. He has diapers and belly bands but they sometimes slide off because he does not have both legs. He is willing to travel with his wheelchair, his diapers, his belly bands, his toys, his elevated feeding stand and slow feed bowl (that does not really slow him down). Despite everything he’s been through, he is the happiest boy in the world. He would love to sit on a dog bed and chew a nylabone and watch to make sure you are looking at him. He has passed cats on the porch or street and not reacted to them. He may need a short introduction to any new fur siblings. He seems to know who he can pick on and who he needs to defer to. He will come with this cute gingerbread costume just in time for Christmas. https://www.facebook.com/reel/280549138140602 *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
From Bonnies Foster: She is an 11-12 month old, FIXED, black lab mix (not sure of the mix) and she is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She thinks she's a lap dog, even though she's around 60 pounds . Every morning when I leave for work, she follows my car, running and jumping and just having a good time. When I get home from work, she runs out to meet me and is waiting outside of my car door in pure joy. When I step out, she sits down and leans against my legs, like her very own version of a hug. She loves running around and playing fetch, and is even starting to learn how to catch a frisbee! She absolutely adores running around with my other dogs and is so funny and playful. As she is still a pup, she needs a forever home that has someone that can dedicate time to her training and someone who is able to put in the time and dedication to her that she so truly deserves. Please help me find sweet Bonnie a forever home. *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Hi there, I'm Lulu, and I am a sweet friendly girl who gets along with everyone. I’m a 2 year old lab mix, around 44lbs. I was brought in with my gal pal BooBoo and though we would love to be adopted together - it isn't necessary as I love all dogs. I am a typical lab in many ways; super sweet, love people, love treats and just want to be your best friend. I would love an active family cos us labs like to have fun! Does this sound perfect to you? Then hit me up! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. Story
Whats poppin? My name is Twizzler, and Im a friend to all! My fan club keeps growing by the day. If youre looking for a goofy, playful, affectionate partner in crime, look no further. I came from the Marion County shelter after being found as a stray, and Im so excited to find my forever family. My human friends say that Im overflowing with love to give. I love playing with other dogs just as much as people, so I would prefer a home with at least one other playful pup to romp around with. Being an only child is alright as long as I have outlets for my playful energy. Puppy playdates, anyone? An active lifestyle is ideal to keep my energy level managed, but dont worry about me getting destructive or disruptive in the home. My favorite toys keep me occupied when youre not available. I dont love being confined to a crate, so a home that allows me to free roam with minimal alone time is ideal. Sometimes I bring my people their own shoes as a prank. I really should have my own TV show so that other people can enjoy my antics. Id love to go on adventures with my new family! Im currently working on some leash reactivity when I see other dogs out walking. I should be able to chill out more with patience and consistent work. The rescue team can help show you what that looks like. I would do best in a home without cats since I seem to have a strong prey drive around small animals. I have found kids to be lots of fun, so as long as theyre respectful of me, Im down to cuddle with anyone of any age. Im also a total dream to take for car rides and bathe. Who knows what other activities Ill master with my new best friend. Join my fan club and prepare to fall in love! I'm in a foster home so please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org to meet me!Est. DOB: 8/16/2019Weight: 54 lb
