Story
Pistol is a rescue dog, before she came to live with us, she was mistreated to some extent and was attacked by one of the other dogs in her home. When she came to live with us, we were hoping we would be her forever home but life took a turn and we are not able to continue providing her the care she deserves. Pistol is a 10 year old black lab/german shepherd mix. She is such a friendly dog. She loves attention, she would be a lap dog if you’d let her. She is quite good with kids, but she will grumble if they climb on her. She is used to being around cats and loves to make new friends. Pistol would do well in a home where she has a yard to run in, a home where someone is usually home or takes her along on adventures. She is loving and loyal and a great family dog and she would do well with someone willing to spend lots of time with her.

Story
Benji has been patiently waiting for his forever family since November, and this sweet 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix is ready to find his happy ending! 🏡 Once he warms up, his sweet personality shines through! He enjoys playtime, particularly games of fetch and tug-of-war with his beloved tennis ball. He's also very treat-motivated, which makes positive reinforcement training a great way to build his confidence. 🦋While he's a gentle soul, Benji can be a bit shy and fearful, especially in new situations. He's also shown some resource guarding behaviors. Because of this, and due to his specific needs, he needs a patient and understanding adult-only home where he can feel safe and secure. 💕Benji is looking for a quiet, predictable environment where he can truly relax and blossom. If you're an experienced adopter with a calm, adult-only home and a heart full of patience, Benji could be the loyal and loving companion you've been searching for. Come meet Benji and see if you're the perfect match! 🐾 Primary Color: Tan Weight: 63.375 Age: 4yrs 3mths 3wks

Story
Meet Luka! This sweet chocolate lab girl is looking for her new home after arriving at the shelter as a stray. We think she's still pretty young and has a whole lot of love to give! Luka is a bundle of energy and enthusiasm, and she's always ready to play. She can be a little jumpy and mouthy right now (we're working on those manners!), but underneath all that excitement is a goofy, affectionate pup. One of her cutest quirks? Luka actually smiles when she's a little nervous! It's the most adorable thing. Could you be the one to give Luka her happily ever after? 🥰 Primary Color: Chocolate Weight: 53.5 Age: 2yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
This is my sweet yellow lab mix Remington, I do not know what he is mixed with. I adopted him from a local rescue in Portland in December of 2019 and he was believed to be 4 years old at the time so he would be around 9 years old now though i believe him to be a couple years younger. He is the most loving dog I have ever met all he wants to do is lay down with you and hangout. The last photo of his profile gives you a lot of information that the rescue gave me. He has lived with another dog before and did great it just takes a awile for him to warm up to other dogs think he just gets nervous, being from Mexico and having to deal with other street dogs. Remington is a loving goodest of boys and would benefit from a wide range of lifestyles of other families. Thank you for reading!

Story
Labrador Retriever Mix 1 year old Male 42 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No Toby or Not Toby, that is the question—and the answer is Toby, of course! I mean, look at me! This smile can light up a room. My heart is as soft and shiny as this stunning coat of fur I wear upon my back. I’ll share my love with other dogs, but no cats, please. I will even enjoy the company of respectful older children 10+ who understand how to be very patient and understanding. Truth is, I’ll take all the love and affection I can get, but I want to feel safe! I’m still a pup and although I have had lots of training, like crate training and housetraining basic commands I want to find a family who will give me the time, guidance and structure I need to blossom into the best boy I can be. So, there you have it, all the answers you could need. It’s Toby of course! My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Story
Daisy was found in the streets of Santa Rosalia by a churro stand. Her contagious smile won our hearts from the moment we met her and she hasn't stopped smiling since. We've been on several roadtrips and she is so easy going, she enjoys sitting in the drivers lap and looking out the window. She gets along with our other rescues and all the dogs we have encountered. Daisy is very gentle and mellow. She really likes kids and follows them around. She's a very good girl, she doesn't make a sound even when all the other dogs start barking. Everywhere we go people comment on how sweet she is and I must say she really is one of the easiest dogs we've had:) Tug o war seems to be her favorite game when the other dogs are up for playing. Daisy is athletic and easily keeps up on our long beach walks and little hikes. She really needs a family with a yard or space for her to lay outside because her favorite thing ever is just sunbathing and hanging outdoors.
