Story
Parsnip is my only friend and the only thing I have left from my divorce. After losing my house and almost everything else, I've struggled to stay afloat and provide the kind of life he deserves. At the moment, we live in an 18 ft. RV where he patiently waits for me to come home after an almost 11-hour day. Getting to this point has been extremely painful, but I can't ignore that keeping him is for purely selfish reasons now. If you're reading this and have a home where someone can love and be with him as much as he deserves, please contact me. Parsnip has been with me through the lowest point in my life and I'm just trying to do right by him while I still can. I adopted Parsnip as a puppy. He's 3 years old and fond of children and cats but can get nervous around excitable, small kids. He seems to prefer women over men. The best scenario for him is a household with a stay-at-home spouse, retiree, etc. I have a 10x10' chain-link fence dog run that can go with him if you have space.

Story
Benji is a sweet and gentle 4-year-old Labrador Retriever mix looking for a patient and understanding family to call his own. He can be a bit shy and fearful at first, especially in new situations, but once he warms up to you, he'll be your best friend for life! He's very treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze. Benji loves to play fetch and tug-of-war, especially with his favorite tennis ball! Due to his timid nature, Benji would do best in a quiet adult-only home with a securely fenced yard where he can relax and feel safe. He has shown to be dog-tolerant but would need slow and careful introductions to any potential furry siblings. With a little love and patience, Benji will blossom into the most loyal and loving companion. If you think you can give Benji the loving home he deserves, please come meet him today!!💖🐶 Primary Color: Tan Weight: 63.375 Age: 4yrs 1mths 3wks

Story
Cardi is a 6 year old, spayed lab mix. She has hemolytic anemia. And some separation anxiety. Owner says that she's working too many hours and for shifts that are too long for her to be able to keep Cardi a happy dog. This is a situation for one of those animal angels out there who are blessed to have the means to take care of a dog with medical issues into their senior years. We know you're out there! This is a dog that needs you. Her adoption donation is $100Fill out an adoption application at sccpets.comDecember 16, 2024, 1:43 am

Story
My adoption fee is $100 Here's what you need to know about me:I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.I may jump and play rough. I don't mean to, I just get really excited when I play! It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them.I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org. Primary Color: Black Weight: 84 Age: 1yrs 1mths 1wks
