Story
Chance / Neutered Male / 65lbs / Black Lab mix / Dogs: Yes / Cats: No / Kids: Yes Remember Chance? This sweet boy came to us from Manitoba in mid-December, and after completing his veterinary work, he’s now ready to find his forever family! 🐾❤️ Chance is a cuddle lover through and through. Whether it’s snuggling up with his humans or lounging around with his foster sister Willow, he’s always ready for some affection. When he’s not napping or snuggling, you can catch him playing with his favorite squeaky toys, or looking out the window for people watching opportunities. He’s got a big heart and is super smart—he already knows sit, focus, lay down, and shake a paw! 🐶 Though Chance has the energy of a young Lab, he’s also incredibly sweet and gentle. He loves people of all ages (especially when they give belly rubs!) and is great with other dogs. He’s also food-motivated and eager to please, which makes him an ideal candidate for continued training. Chance would thrive in an active home where he can burn off his energy and continue to learn new skills. He would absolutely benefit from obedience classes to help him become the best boy he can be. 🏃‍♂️💡 Chance is not cat-friendly and should not be adopted into a home with cats or small pets. He’s house-trained and does okay in the crate, but would benefit from ongoing crate training and structure. He LOVES car rides and can’t wait to hit the road with his new family! 🚗💨 Chance is a truly kind and loving soul who’s ready to bring so much joy to his forever family. If you think you can provide the active and loving home this boy deserves, apply today! 💖 Chance is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is being fostered in Guelph. Story
Meet Daphne!! (case #02-03-177-05) Daphne came into care as an unclaimed stray. She was shy upon arrival but has since come out of her shell and has turned into a sweet, playful little pup. Daphne would likely do well in a home with another dog. She will need her new owner to expose her to new situations in a safe and controlled manner to continue to gain confidence. Meeting new people and well-mannered dogs will also help to grow in a positive direction. Being a young girl, obedience classes would be essential to setting her up for future success and good behaviour as an adult. Daphne is not very jumpy so a home with kids may be okay (with excellent supervision and boundaries set for both her and the kids). Daphne is still a puppy. She is looking for her forever home to grow old and experience the best life with as your new loyal companion!

Story
Meet Keith!! (case #02-03-177-07) Keith is a 4-month-old lab mix with a bit of bully and maybe some hound in his mix—he’s got the perfect blend of energy, charm, and puppy sweetness! This little guy was found as an unclaimed stray, but he’s quickly become a total people pleaser and a dog’s best friend! Keith is well-socialized with both people and other dogs, but he's still growing and learning about new places, faces, and situations. He’s in that critical phase of puppyhood where positive experiences make all the difference! A family that loves introducing Keith to new adventures, people, and environments will help him grow into a confident and well-adjusted adult dog. Though Keith has a lot of heart and affection, he’s still a blank slate when it comes to training. He’s eager to please and ready to soak up all the lessons you have for him. He would thrive in obedience classes and is definitely looking for a family committed to teaching him the ropes! With his love for long walks, playtime, and mental stimulation, Keith would do best with an active family who has the time and patience to keep him busy. Think of all the fun enrichment games and adventures you could have together! Ready for a furry friend who will give you endless love in return for some positive training, exercise, and plenty of attention? Keith is your guy! So, if you're an active family with time to train and snuggle, Keith would be lucky to join your crew! He’s got so much to offer, and with your guidance, he’ll grow into the perfect, well-mannered companion.
