🖤ADOPT PANDORA🖤 F | 5Y | 23 KG | Mixed breed | Spayed | UTD on shots | Housebroken | Crate Trained | Good with dogs | Cat tested | Not kid tested | Fostered in London Pandora's name tells you it all—just like in Greek mythology, she is a gorgeous maiden who is seen as a gift to everyone. This doggo melts hearts like ice cream on a hot summer day! With tons of affection to share, she is eagerly looking for her forever home to shower in cuddles. This active girl loves to go for walks and learn neat tricks. She enjoys being mentally stimulated, whether with fun toys or a day of play. A bit introverted, Pandora needs some time to warm up to others (furry friends and humans alike). She is curious to meet other dogs but needs the right support and introductions to truly befriend them. Similar to people, Pandora would prefer you introduce her to your human friends outside the home to calm her nerves. Pandora still struggles with her fear of noises, this is something to be mindful of while you work together to help her become comfortable with her new life. She is also a flight risk within the first couple of weeks, meaning even in a fully enclosed yard and in the house - it's important to keep that leash on until she's fully decompressed and settled in. Playful Pandora needs a family to help her navigate this crazy world and give her the patience and training she needs to thrive. With proper structure and boundary setting, she will surely shine!

Story
Hi I'm Paxton! I'm being fostered right here in Ontario and I'd love to meet you. Where do I begin, well it all started when I was abandoned at an apartment complex. I spent countless weeks alone, in the dark and in the heat. I was not feeling well, I was hungry, and I was tired as I didn’t have a place to call home to feel safe. UNTIL... that wonderful day when I was rescued, and I was on my way to recovery. I have received a clean bill of health from the vet and I am ready to live the rest of my life wagging my tail to the right family! I am crate trained. I am house trained. Super friendly! I like other dogs! I am very loving and happy. I have lots of love and energy. I am doing well walking on a leash. Shall I go on? Okay so I will be honest here, I am not saying I don’t like cats, but it may take a bit of time to warm up to them, so if you have the time and patience to help me get along with your cat, I will try my best. Did I mention how handsome I am now that I have cleaned up? You know the saying; oh, you clean up nicely… that’s ME! Here's the link to put in an application for me: https://sites.google.com/view/friendsfurlife/adoption-application I hope to hear from you!

Story
Lady is fostered in Hamilton Ontario. Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Lady came to us from the City of Houston animal shelter. We met her at our rescue ranch after she was pulled from the shelter. We could tell she was well spirited, but it was clear that she had been neglected and had a little bit of skin issues. She played well with other dogs and enjoyed a medicated bath. Since then, she has been on preventatives for the fleas and skin is looking so much better (her fur is still growing back). She really loves to play with balls and other toys. We would classify her as having medium-high energy once she comes out of her shell, but with sufficient exercise and play she becomes a great relaxed dog. She is looking for a family to help her gain self-confidence and take her on lots of adventures. She is a bit vocal if left unattended in the kennel, so we are looking for a single or detached home, just to be safe. She is good with kids, however she does have a bad habit of jumping on people, so this is something that will need to be worked on. Overall, this black beauty will make a wonderful companion!Name: LadyBreed: Lab mixAge: ~2 years Weight: ~45lbSex: Female, spayedColour: Black with whiteMedical: Missing hair due to flea dermatitis, treated with medicated shampoo and nexgardGood with men: YesGood with women: YesGood with kids 0-6: Yes, but has not lived with small children - looking for a family with older kids due to jumping Good with kids 6+: Yes, but has not lived with children Good with dogs: Yes, enjoys the company of other dogs Good with cats: Unknown, no exposure House trained: Working on it - about halfway there Crate trained: Working on it Resource guarding: Only high value treats/food from other dogs - eats in her kennel Walks on a leash: Yes, but pulls Energy level: Medium-High Requires detached/single home: YesSeparation anxiety: Possibly Barker: Average

Story
Chicky is fostered in the GTA. Apply to adopt at rebeldogrescue.com*All adoptions with Rebel Dog Rescue have a 15 day probation period. Read about our adoption process on our website. Chicky is a spunky and charismatic 9 month old puppy! Like most puppies, she loves people and all the attention she can get. She also enjoys meeting some dog friends but prefers to take her time getting to know them before she shows her excitement with them. She loves going on walks and generally does well on the leash but like any young pup, will pull to get to something fun! She is always learning and would do best with a family that is eager to teach her polite manners and the joys of life. This silly girl thinks she can play with her mouth sometimes but she just needs to learn that people and dogs play differently. Looking for a peppy puppy that has a zest for life? Chicky is your gal!The ideal home for Chicky would be one with either a playful dog that is patient during the introductory phase or okay without another dog but an active home since she is fairly young. With her being a puppy still, she loves people and going on walks and trying new things, but she needs a home that is willing to teach her manners. She is very affectionate and friendly with people, she only becomes mouthy/jumpy when she is excited so would not want that to be misconstrued when playing with children.Chicky does enjoy other dogs but she needs time to warm up to a new friend. She'd do well with another dog that will eventually become playful but can also give her space when first meeting. When meeting dogs that are quickly energetic and playful at first meet, she will avoid them. When first meeting, she likes to develop a relationship before becoming playful with them. She does well on walks with new dogs and even in a closed yard, she is fairly indifferent to them. She'll sniff them and have loose body language around them but looks mainly to people. She was found with 2 other dogs her age as a stray and was kenneled with them onsite and did well; so once she develops that relationship, she'll open up and become more playful. She does not growl or show aggression towards other dogs, she is a little more closed off at first greeting and indifferent, needing time to create a bond. Even with the dogs she gets along with, she is still focused on people's attention just as much as playing with a dog.Name: Chicky Breed: Lab mix Age: ~10 months Weight: ~45lbSex: Female, spayed Colour: TanMedical: No concerns Good with men: YesGood with women: YesGood with kids 0-6: Unknown, no exposure Good with kids 6+: Yes.
