Story
Ford is a playful (1yr old per veterinarian), sweet puppy that likes his belly rubs. He is trained on a dog door and a crate. He loves to run in the yard and play. We found him 2 mo ago he was dumped; and took him in all shots are up to date at the local Vets office. He has been neutered also. At this time having jobs we cannot continue keep up w training and give him the training he needs. We were recommended by an organization that helps Veterans rehome dogs. He is sweet and needs a good home w a yard. He can sit and give kisses. Smart puppy. He needs a bit more than we can give at this time. Thanks for checking out ol’ Ford

Story
Auggie was found starving to death along with his mother and due to him eating through his tie out was able to get help for them both. He overcame hunger and is now a happy boy. Who was living with a college student, but when she had to go home the resident dog was not a fan of him so we took him back. He loves other dogs especially Lacey they love to run and play. He is a goofy boy and loves to make goofy faces in his crate. Would love to see this boy with a family that he can grow with and never worry about a meal again.

Story
Eli is male black/brindle/lab/shepherd mix. Eli weighs approximately 60 pounds. He is crate trained, and somewhat house trained. He has an interesting cropped tail. Eli showed up on an elderly lady's porch and she couldn't take care of him. He is extremely energetic and loves to play. He needs daily exercise! If you are a runner, he would be a great running partner. He likes most dogs, however, can be dog selective as he is more dominant. He is very smart and has learned to sit and wait. Eli needs a very strong leader in his human, and someone who will continue to work with him on obedience and discipline training, and to be sure he gets plenty of exercise to curb some of his energy. But he will be a great dog.

Story
Oreo was found abandoned at Hunter Park on the 4th of July weekend with two other siblings. She is approximately a 5-month-old female mix. Oreo got her name from the cute white ring around her neck. She is super sweet, very energetic but loves cuddles and is working hard on her manners. She loves to be with her people and is good with other dogs but is still a puppy. Oreo is currently still living with her sister Stormi; they play well together but they might do better separated. Oreo would probably do better in a home with older children, younger dogs but probably no cats. Oreo currently lives with two cats but sometimes she gets a little too playful for their liking. In short, she likes cats, but cats don’t always like her. However, she is never aggressive with the cats and the cats will sometimes even play with her a little. Oreo is constantly hungry, since she was not fed well before we found her. She is never aggressive with food, but she will eat pretty much any food in site even other dog’s food, so she does have to be separated at dinner time. She is currently using a slow feeding bowl to help with this issue. She has also learned to sit before she is fed. She is such a smart girl. Oreo is kennel trained but would much rather be with her people. She loves to play with bones, her people, and other dogs, but when sleepy, she’ll cuddle you and give you lots of kisses. She is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside, wither by ringing a bell or barking at the door. She would probably do the best with an experienced and patient dog owner who can help her with her basic training and channel her puppy energy in a productive way. She is currently fully vaccinated, including rabies and will be spayed 10/3/23. The vet thinks she might be around 50lbs when full grown.
