We rescued Maple in 2022 after our dog became lonely and depressed. She appeared to be a perfect match for him as she is super playful, loving, and could keep up with his energy. Our dogs no longer get along and we must find Maple somewhere to live by herself for the safety of everyone in our family and more importantly, for her happiness. Maple is the sweetest, silliest, and most adorable dog we have ever had the pleasure to love. She is 8 years old but does not let that slow her down! She adores belly rubs, ear pets, car rides, doggy icecream, getting the zoomies, and going on walks in the neighborhood. Maple absolutely loves humans and is a joy to everyone she meets. Maple does not always appreciate the company of other dogs and struggles with jealousy issues. She would be the best match in a family that does not have another dog and does not plan on getting another dog. We truly believe (and so does she) that she deserves all of the love and attention to be focused on her.

I got Jax, originally shadow, from the Norman animal shelter. He is very energetic and very friendly. Spends most of his time sleeping , sometimes with his tongue out, and sniffing new smells. He loves his chew toys and playing with other furry friends! I get rashes when I’m around him and can no longer keep him 😞

This underweight fellow was picked up in the 1600 block of North Main Street in Noble the week before Thanksgiving. He was not wearing a collar. He was microchipped, but we were unable to make contact with the previous owners by phone of by address on the chip. He was under 33.5 lbs when picked up on Friday the 22nd, and was weighed after the weekend in our shelter as 33.5 lbs Monday, the 25th of November. On Wednesday the 4th of December, he weighed 37.6 lbs. He sis becoming more energetic and opening up to people more. He doesn't fight being on a leash anymore.Gained 4 lbs since being in the shelter. Has been dewormed 2x. Vaccinated.

This dog was found abandoned at the gate to the Shelter and Public Works area on South Front. He was not collared nor was he microchipped. He was found with his brother and sister. All three are very energetic puppies that want attention. They enjoy playing with each other and running the fences with the other dogs in the shelter. Theo has done okay on the leash when we have taken him to and from the veterinarian's office.

He was found wandering in the country, but not microchipped and nobody ever claimed him so he may have been dumped. He's such a sweet boy, but can take a moment to warm up to strangers. He gets along well with other dogs and has been doing well learning house manners. He has some separation anxiety as well, but that's also being worked on in foster care. Nick and Nora, a brother/sister duo, have been with us since they were pups and are now about 4 years old. They are likely hound/lab mixes of some sort with beautiful reddish coats! Nora is a little more voluptuous than her brother and takes some very inexpensive medicine to control her thyroid. These two have been together all their lives and would certainly not mind finding a home together, but they are also available to adopt separately and we believe they would adjust well in loving families. Both are sweet and loving and enjoy the company of other dogs and people. Unlike some of our dogs who have known homes before, these two have never had one family to love only them and we'd love nothing more than for them to find their happily ever after!
