Hi, my name is Chevy! I'm a gentle giant who loves attention and is very sweet. I am a big guy and am older, but that just means I have some life experience and there's more of me to love! I love hanging out inside on my bed and getting pets or going out and exploring the run- at my own speed of course, which isn't all that fast. I am pretty low energy compared to some of the dogs here, but I do like to hang out with some of the older, calmer dogs and I don't seem to mind the energetic puppies either- as long as they let me stay out of their games! Before I came here, I had been with one family since I was very small, so this is a very big change for me, and I've got to say I'm a little nervous. I like a home environment that's calm and laidback, just like me, so it's a little busy here for my taste. Despite being unsure in my new surroundings, I love to meet new people and would love to meet you!

She is a rescue dog that’s been trained through the first round of training at Petsmart, and she’s very good with other dogs and kids. She’s incredibly hyper at times, a cuddly baby, and needs a family to make her feel safe. She also cannot be left alone for longer than five hours, and cannot be crate trained due to crate abuse before I got her. She’s a wonderful dog, but I have to move out of state and cannot take her with me.
