Story
This handsome guy is around 1 year old and weighs 54lbs. Our staff believes he’s a Lab mix, but we suspect he might also have some bully genetics in there as well.Gravy is a sweet but timid pup at the shelter. While he’s still finding his footing, he’s shown that he needs a little extra time to warm up to new situations and friends. During his dog testing, he was understandably scared and chose to avoid the other dogs, but with one calm pup, he showed much more interest and confidence!Gravy would thrive in a home with a calm, patient dog who can help him feel secure and guide him through slow introductions. He’s a loving boy who just needs a little encouragement to come out of his shell. If you’re looking for a gentle companion to join your family, come meet Gravy at the shelter! With the right support, he has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. 🏡💙Stop by during business hours to see if Gravy is the perfect fit for you!RCHS does not conduct DNA tests on dogs who enter our facility therefore we are unable to guarantee breed or breed mix. Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dog’s breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

Story
🚗 Meet Rolls Royce! 🚗Don't let the name fool you—he's not as pretentious as it sounds! This distinguished gentleman 🕴️ is a year old, full-grown, and a true standout 🏆 for those who want only the best. He's got a mature bladder (no messes here! 🚽), but still keeps the humor alive with his playful spirit 🐾.Rolls Royce is a white lab & pyrenees mix. He weighs 56 lbs and is such a sweet lovable boy. While his leash manners could use a bit of polishing 🎯, Rolls Royce is adaptable and takes life’s twists and turns like a pro. His one kryptonite? 🐱 Cats! He tends to forget all his lessons when they’re around. Like any classic Lab, he's full of energy ⚡ and loves to play! He's fantastic with people, kids, and other dogs 👫🐕. He’s also a great car companion although getting in the car can be scary, but once in it's all good. 🚙 He did well in the crate. Rolls Royce is truly the cream of the crop. 💫Rolls Royce's adoption fee is $225, he is vaccinated, heartworm negative, flea & tick treated, microchipped and will be neutered upon adoption. You can apply online for them at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21 OR stop in to the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption. Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.

Story
Hi there, I'm a sweet, friendly, and playful Lab/Pyrenees/Pitbull mix. I love playing fetch, and my tail wags non-stop when I see a tennis ball. I'm great with kids and other pets too! My favorite thing in the world is cuddling up with my human friends after a long day of play. I'm a fast learner and eager to please, so I'll pick up new tricks in no time. I'm also house-trained and I promise to be the best boy. I'm looking for a loving family who will give me lots of belly rubs and playtime. Adopt me and let's make beautiful memories together! 8 weeks old, spayed and neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, on heartworm prevention and microchipped, adoption donation is $200. If interested in adopting please visit us at 4 Commercial Ave WCH. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 2pm.These are abandoned street animals or unplanned litters, some of older age, and many with a shy temperament. Their prior history is sometimes unknown. We make every effort to check the basic health and personality of each animal.CAT:Every adoptable cat is currently vaccinated (FVRCPP), vaccinated for rabies (if 16 weeks or older), spayed/neutered, treated for worms, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).DOG:Each adoptable dog/puppy is currently vaccinated (DHPP), vaccinated for rabies (if older than 16 weeks), treated for worms, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).Upon adoption you will be given a health record to take to your veterinarian. Adoption fees are typically $90.00 for kittens, $50 for cats and $300 for dogs/puppies unless otherwise stated. We accept cash or debit/ credit card only! These fees are subject to fluctuation, if deemed necessary, depending on season, amount of adoptable animals in our program, and/or breed of animal. The adoption fees help us recover a small portion of the money that we spend on these animals. Thank you so much for your interest in a shelter pet!!!
