Shafer is a 1 to 2yr old neutered male German Shepherd. He weighs 63 lbs. Shafer was picked up by our local dog warden as a stray. Sadly his family never came for him. Shafer can be a little shy when you first meet him. Once he knows you are going to be kind to him he becomes a loving and loyal friend. He is a great dog who would love a home that will spend time with him. He has been well behaved here at the rescue and is learning several commands. He has a moderate energy level and a great temperament. He seems to be house trained. He has been great with children and other dogs. He was curious about my cat but ignored it after meeting it. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $400. He has no aggression and will let you do anything. He would be great with another dog. He loves other dogs and is more confident when other dogs are near him.
