Chickie is a true social butterfly who lights up around new people and canine companions alike. She loves to make new friends and has been a star at community events like our annual 5k! Chickie has been a regular in our play groups and loves to play with other dogs, and could be a great fit for a dog who needs a friend. However, she needs a home without cats. Currently living in a foster home, Chickie has shown that she is a cheerful, lovable, and easy dog to have around. Affection is her love language — she’s a total cuddle bug who gives the best hugs and doubles as a weighted blanket. She has been sweet meeting humans of all ages, and is well-mannered outside of a few mild moments of puppyish excitement. Chickie is a bright little nugget who already has some manners down. She does well when left in her crate. She enjoys her walks and would also likely love having a fenced-in yard of her own to romp and play.
