I got Missy from a family who had to find a home for her due to eviction. She turned 6 November 1st. I am looking for a home that has a fenced in yard where she can run and play. She is very friendly and loyal. Please see below for more information. I am 74years old and live in Lorain Ohio. I need to rehome my 6 year old vizslador due to declining health issues. I am not able to care for her the way she needs to be. Her name is Missy. She is completely housebroken and has been spayed. She needs her shots updated which I can no longer afford. She does not like being alone or caged and has separation anxiety. She gets along with everyone including children. She does not do well with cats, but does get along with some dogs. She needs a home with yard where she can run and play. She has no health issues that I am aware of. She has been scratching which might be fleas, but I have not seen any on her. However, I am still treating her for fleas.

Meet Snickers! 🐾 Snickers, an adult male Chocolate Lab, is a smart and eager boy who already knows his basic commands. He absolutely loves people and can’t help getting excited when he meets someone new—he’s convinced everyone is a potential best friend. Snickers is potty trained, playful, and enjoys his Nylabones. He takes treats gently and never turns down a good game of fetch. With his energy and enthusiasm, he’d make a wonderful walking or jogging buddy and an all-around loyal companion. The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs if you already have a dog. Walker is the most loving dog you’ll ever meet. He LOVES to be with people, so I hope he goes to a home with a family that will love him just as much. He has tons of energy. He would love a space to run freely like some sort of back yard but just regular play time is just as exciting for him. Walker is amazing with children and just about anyone or anything he’s introduced to.. Walker loves hikes, walks, and is even good on runs. He’s also pretty good at catching frisbees. He’ll love you just as much as you’ll love him.

Miller is a loving 7-year-old chocolate lab with a heart as big as his soft brown eyes. He has been adored for the past six years and is truly the definition of a loyal companion. Miller is fully house-trained, gentle, and happiest when he can curl up beside you. Miller does have separation anxiety, so he needs a family who is home often and can give him the reassurance he needs. He takes daily Prozac, which helps him feel calmer and more secure. He also has chronic ear infections, so a family willing to keep up with his ear care will help him live his best, most comfortable life. With a toddler now in the home, his sensitive ears have become a concern for everyone so his current family is making the heartbreaking decision to find him a home better suited to his needs. Miller would shine in a low-stress environment without young children, with someone patient, loving, and comfortable providing ongoing vet care.

Chickie is no ordinary pup — she’s the whole peck-age! This adorable, bubbly girl brings all the tail-wagging good vibes. Chickie is a true social butterfly who lights up around new people and canine companions alike. She loves to make new friends and has been a star at community events like our annual 5k! Chickie has been a regular in our play groups and loves to play with other dogs, and could be a great fit for a dog who needs a friend. However, she needs a home without cats. Currently living in a foster home, Chickie has shown that she is a cheerful, lovable, and easy dog to have around. Affection is her love language — she’s a total cuddle bug who gives the best hugs and doubles as a weighted blanket. She has been sweet meeting humans of all ages, and is well-mannered outside of a few mild moments of puppyish excitement. Chickie is a bright little nugget who already has some manners down. She does well when left in her crate. She enjoys her walks and would also likely love having a fenced-in yard of her own to romp and play.
