Story
Born April 1, 2021.Had them since they were 7 weeks old. Never been separated. Very good with children and cats. Same with dogs depending on how they’re introduced they get excited. They’re very well behaved and sleep in an couple crate at night together. Their appetite is very good. They can sit, shake, lay down. Thor is the light brindle. Loki is the dark brindle. Loki loves chew toys. They both love following whomever they think the master is around. Thor can get a little anxious at times especially around loud noises or when he’s separated from Loki. We lack the space and time to exercise them properly. They are both neutered. Crates, leashes, harness, food/water bowls, toys would be included with them.

Story
Have you ever seen a cuter boy than Dumplin? This boy has been through so much in his lifetime. He was dumped out on a rural road, left to fend for himself. He was mostly hairless when we got him. His foster mom nursed him back to health. He was eaten up with fleas and had so many hotspots on him. Today he is thriving! He loves people, kids and other dogs! Dumplin' is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention, neutered and microchipped. He is housetrained and never meets a stranger. He is the most gentle, loving soul, you'll ever meet. Our vet guesstimates him to be around 7 years old. Being that he has been through so much in his life, he looks a lot older. We do not know for sure, his exact age, but we do know that he loves big! He is such an easy dog! He yearns for nothing but love! If interested in making Dumplin' a part of your family, please complete the adoption application below: https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html Adoption fee: $350. This fee covers all vaccines, heartworm test, vet exams and neuter, along with chip.

Story
Calvin has been part of our family for 4 years, unfortunately we have decided to rehome him because he has been aggressive towards our senior dog. They have gotten into a couple tiffs instigated by Calvin mostly over food but other times have been random. I think he would do better in a single dog household. He would also do better with a family that either works from home or works part time. He is 105 pounds of pure love and mushiness. He is generally really even tempered but if he doesn't get enough attention or exercise he gets agitated easily. He walks well on a harness and enjoys the car. We are devastated to have to make this decision but our senior dog deserves to live the rest of her life in peace.

Story
WE MUST TALK ABOUT BRUNO! Bruno is a large lab/hound mixed breed around 75 lbs. He is 3 years old. Bruno was surrendered to a local shelter from a sad situation, but he is ready to put the past behind him and find his forever home. Poor Bruno was the only dog but lived with several cats and came from a hoarding case. He is housebroken, gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to explore his new surroundings and thinks everything is his toy. He is doing well leash training and loves to be outside walking or playing. Bruno is a strong guy. He needs a fenced in yard or someone who can handle his strength. He needs a family to allow him to continue training and exercises him regularly. Due to Bruno's past, you would think he would have some trust issues with humans, but he loves everyone he meets instead. He wants to show you how much he loves you by tackling you sometimes without meaning to. He's a big goofball and doesn't know his size. In Bruno's heart, soul, and mind, he identifies as a Shitzu. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. If you're interested in adopting Bruno, please visit our website at hsdavie.org/dogs and complete an adoption application.

Story
Meet Daisy: Your New Best Friend! Age: 6 Years Personality: Daisy is a happy girl who absolutely adores cuddling and being around her family. Her favorite activities include snuggling on the couch, going for long walks, and showing off her tricks. She knows how to sit, give paw, and lay down, putting her on the right track for additional training. Behavior: Daisy is leash trained and potty trained, so she’s ready to fit seamlessly into your home. While she is great on the leash, she can get a bit overexcited and reactive when she sees other dogs or small animals while out walking. She’s still learning to stay calm and focused, and we’re working on her training to help her manage her excitement better. While Daisy gets along with people, she would be happiest as the only pet in a household where she can be the center of attention.

Story
Bear is a sweet, loyal and energetic Dog who loves car rides. but he’s so much more than just that. He a best friend and deserves a home that will love and care for him. Bear absolutely loves cuddles and chin scratches. He is a very clingy bear and will follow you everywhere. Bear has a bad skin condition ( hot spots) and definitely needs a vet check and a special diet. As a young dog, bear is still capable of learning new commands and the current ones he knows; Sit, stay, wait and come. Great around other dogs and kids and is not territorial around his food and water BEAR likes to share. Not a huge barker or whiner but he like to beg. Those puppy dog eyes will get you. As energetic as he is, bear loves a good lazy day with a bunch of cuddles and kisses. Bear has a unique personality; he’s such a baby with his huffing puffing when he doesn’t get his way, he like to be carried if it rains so his paws don’t get wet, he loves to be coddled like a baby as well. Bear is the best boy.

Story
Jazz is a female Lab(?) mix, estimated one year old. She weighs 33 pounds and is a bit thin. Jazz came to us when her owner suffered a major change in circumstances and could no longer care for her. She lived with a large number of other dogs and gets along with all of them. She plays too rough with the itty bitty dogs but she would love a dog friend in her new home. Jazz is an active girl who is looking for a person or family who appreciates her exuberance. She needs someone who can be patient and understand she has never been taught how to behave. She is very willing to please so she should learn very quickly. obedience classes are a great way to bond with your new dog. Jazz is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm disease and her adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay and microchip.
