Story
Casper here! I'm a young male dog with lots of love to give. They call me friendly, curious, cuddly, and well, just straight up adorable! I have a great time running around and roughhousing with other dogs and older kids; but when it's time to chill, I love nothing more than to snuggle up with you. I think cats are really interesting, but I don’t understand them yet. My foster home has two other dogs, and sometimes we cuddle up together. I'm almost fully crate- and house-trained, and I’m learning to walk on a leash and other commands, too! If you choose me, I will show you my devotion as your furever best friend with plenty of kisses and nose boops. Are you ready to see if we're a match? ** Please note that while Casper is not currently neutered, this will be included in his adoption process ** Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center. We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application. Thanks for thinking adoption!

Story
Hi there. I’m Moose, and I want to be your friend! Can I follow you around? Sit beside you? Lay on you? I'll be the perfect dog for you. Well, unless there is food nearby. That may distract me just a bit. But otherwise, I’m all yours. Foster mom thinks I’m a lab/husky/something mix, but would love to see what a DNA test says. My fur is as soft as silk and I've got a cute, jaunty curl in my tail that won't stop wagging! They say I was born in April, so I’m still a puppy. I’m goofy, playful, and mischievous--but I’m not destructive. I might sneak into the trash can if I can, or counter surf. Like I said, food gets me every time. I'll be forever grateful if you can teach me how to grow into a good boy and your best friend! Do you want to meet me? And maybe adopt me? I love making new friends, both human and canine, and I'm always up for a game of fetch or an adventurous hike. I’ll be your bestest boy ever! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DOB:1/12/2022Hi there, my name is Charlotte and I am looking for my forever home. I am a petite lab mix who is a special girl. I truly love people and other dogs but I have to meet you a couple of times as I require some patience to come around. It’s not shy but I don’t always trust right away. When I know I can trust you, I warm up very quickly. I am a very sweet love bug to my core. I am playful, and a go-with-the-flow kind of girl, so I will tag along on whatever adventure you embark on. I truly just want to be with you and do what you are doing. I am a very smart girl who is crate trained, leash trained, and I know some other tricks too. I love to play with my toys, and my favorite game is tug of war. I do truly like having a doggy friend to play with as well, though 1-2 introductions with other dogs are best for me. If you are looking for the best adventure pal and companion, look no further, I'm your gal. Please make sure to put in an application as I'd love to meet you. I really just want a best friend to spend my time with and love dearly.  *available for private meet and greets/I will not be attending public adoption/meet & greet events due to their overwhelming nature* (KG/KG*)   Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spayed and micro-chipped.   Adoption Fee:  $100.00     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 6:34 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, I'm Gideon and I love to play with my brothers and the big dogs at my foster moms. I will run around and play with anything I find. Im easily entertained. When I get really excited I hop around instead of run. I will play and play and play, then I needs to take a pause for some puppy kisses and snuggles with my foster mom or dad ( which I like so much).  I just love life, especially outside. I can't wait to meet my forever family, I'm going to love the and play with them and I'm going to be theirs and they will be mine. It's going to be so fun and I'm just so excited. Are you gonna be my new family?
