Story
Have you ever seen a cuter boy than Dumplin? This boy has been through so much in his lifetime. He was dumped out on a rural road, left to fend for himself. He was mostly hairless when we got him. His foster mom nursed him back to health. He was eaten up with fleas and had so many hotspots on him. Today he is thriving! He loves people, kids and other dogs! Dumplin' is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention, neutered and microchipped. He is housetrained and never meets a stranger. He is the most gentle, loving soul, you'll ever meet. Our vet guesstimates him to be around 7 years old. Being that he has been through so much in his life, he looks a lot older. We do not know for sure, his exact age, but we do know that he loves big! He is such an easy dog! He yearns for nothing but love! If interested in making Dumplin' a part of your family, please complete the adoption application below: https://acfrescue.weebly.com/adoption-foster-and-volunteer-applications.html Adoption fee: $350. This fee covers all vaccines, heartworm test, vet exams and neuter, along with chip.

Story
Born April 1, 2021.Had them since they were 7 weeks old. Never been separated. Very good with children and cats. Same with dogs depending on how they’re introduced they get excited. They’re very well behaved and sleep in an couple crate at night together. Their appetite is very good. They can sit, shake, lay down. Thor is the light brindle. Loki is the dark brindle. Loki loves chew toys. They both love following whomever they think the master is around. Thor can get a little anxious at times especially around loud noises or when he’s separated from Loki. We lack the space and time to exercise them properly. They are both neutered. Crates, leashes, harness, food/water bowls, toys would be included with them.

Story
Meet **Tanner**, a gentle giant with a heart of gold! Tanner may be a bit timid at first and can be easily startled by new experiences, but once he settles in, his sweet and affectionate nature shines through. Though he's a big boy, Tanner walks really well on a leash-he's surprisingly graceful for his size, enjoying his walks without pulling, and taking in the sights at a calm, steady pace. Tanner is a huge fan of toys, especially when it comes to a good game of fetch! He loves chasing after balls and will happily bring them back for another round of play. His playful side is balanced by his loving nature-he's affectionate and enjoys spending time with his people. While he may initially jump up to greet you in excitement, he's easily redirected and settles down quickly. Tanner has had positive experiences with kids and is gentle with them, making him a great family companion. His affectionate personality and love for play make him a great match for a home where he can get plenty of attention, gentle guidance, and of course, plenty of fun toys to enjoy! If you're looking for a sweet, loving, and playful dog who may take a little time to warm up but is ready to be your loyal companion once he does, Tanner could be the perfect fit for you. With his gentle nature and love of fetch, he's sure to bring lots of joy to his forever home!

Story
Meet Sweet Tea – a warm, cuddly cup of love ready to fill your life with sweetness! This affectionate boy is all about head scratches. He’ll melt right into your touch, showing his love with every nudge and cuddle. He's also an enthusiastic kisser! Sweet Tea is also a playful little guy who enjoys his toys – he’ll happily take turns with each one, savoring them like a fine tea blend. Though he's young, Sweet Tea isn’t overly energetic. His favorite pastime is curling up for a cozy snooze on a soft blankie or dog bed. He’s the perfect balance of playful and relaxed, making him an easygoing companion. But don’t let his chill nature fool you – Sweet Tea also enjoys his walks and is excited to explore the world with you by his side. Sweet Tea is highly treat-motivated and has already learned how to “sit” on command! He’s showing promising signs of being housetrained, too. While Sweet Tea may watch you with longing eyes while you eat, he’s respectful and never whines or begs. He knows how to be patient and polite, making him a well-mannered dinner guest. Like most puppies, Sweet Tea is still learning the ropes and might occasionally nibble on fingers and toes in the cutest, playful way. But with gentle redirection, he quickly gets the message. He also responds well to an "eh eh" when being redirected, making him a smart, eager-to-please companion. This sweet, gentle soul is looking for a loving home where he can steep in all the affection he deserves. Will you be the one to pour him a lifetime of love? Sweet Tea came in with several other dogs and has lived with other dogs before. He's currently living with 2 canine foster siblings. As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet Sweet Tea, contact his foster mom Mindy at (336) 804-2935 to make an appointment!
