You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › ***Sylvie is very scared and will need a secure and patient home for adoption***Sylvie and her seven babies came to us on 7/11/2022 when the puppies were one day old. There were more than 50 dogs on the property where she came from. She is very sweet but still timid.  Once you gain Sylvie's trust, you have the best friend in the world.  Sylvie is extremely treat and food motivated and will follow you everywhere for her favorite treat.  She loves romping in the yard with her foster siblings, lying on the bed or sofa with her human and especially resting on the back of the sofa like a cat.  She is ready for her own home.  She needs a back yard as she will not walk on a leash. She is doting and loving and protective.  She lets you know when a stranger arrives, whether it is a bug or a person and she enjoys being the protector.  To apply for adoption visit: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 14, 2024, 11:49 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › ***Weather is very scared and will need a secure and patient home for adoption***Weather and all her Puppies came to Pawfect Match when the Babies were less than a week old. Weather was and is still scared to death. You see, Weather came from a property in SC where over the course of 15 months Pawfect Match rescued over 200 dogs between the two adjacent property. Weather is the second to last to be rescued but not for lack of trying. She had no name--she was called Juvi girl for juvenile. She has no attention. She is the daughter of Momma Bear and sister of Sylvie, niece of Sadie, Rocket, and Venture. She needs love and patience and someone to show her how to trust. She is finally letting her foster mom pet her though she still flinches. She was recently spayed and believe it or not heartworm and tick born disease negative. She is a manificently sweet girl waiting for love and patience. You must have a fenced yard and be willing to spend months gaining her trust. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi, my name is Tig and would really love to have a forever home. Foster care is great, especially after being a stray, but wouldn't it be wonderful if I found a family of my own? My foster says that I am beautiful and such a sweet dog, most likely a lab, pit, hound mix. I like to run and romp with dogs my size, but I also like being around my human family for belly rubs. I am approximately three years old, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots. My foster told me that I had heartworms, but not to worry because they have me on the slow kill method to get rid of them and if I am adopted they will send medication to complete my treatment. To apply for adoption visit: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 2:18 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hello! My name is Joanie! These nice people rescued me from a bad situation. I lived in a hole outside with about 80 other dogs. My life was strictly having puppies and trying to survive. I also was missing a lot of hair. If you want to see what I did look like, go to my last picture. I'm much happier now. I have all my hair back. My foster mommy says I am uber sweet but need some confidence. I didn't really know a person until I came here so I can be a little shy. I do need a home with a fenced backyard. Since I am shy, I prefer to have my own space when I go potty or walk around. Don't get me wrong though, my favorite place to be is inside in my crate. I like being around my foster parents. I will run from my crate to be with them then run back to my kennel. I will do this until I'm tired. Maybe those are those zoomie things I hear people talking about. When I'm not with foster mommy or daddy my favorite past time is destroying toys. I love to take all the stuffing out and show my foster parents how proud I am. I think they want me to be the fastest toy destroyer ever! Foster mommy said when I went on the leash to the vet, I did better than she ever expected. I still don't love that place though. They have pointy thingy's there. I think they are called needles. My ideal home would be with one or two people that could give me all their love and a fenced in backyard just for me and maybe another doggy friend. He has been known to get along with other dogs after slow and gradual introductions. Absolutely no cats.  Ozzy loves to play tug of war, fetch, and is all around a total charismatic goofball with "pick me" energy.  He is notoriously known as the jokester, keeping his family laughing.  Ozzy's previous family knows his perfect forever home is out there, where Ozzy can feel safe, happy, and thrive.  Could you be Ozzy's Pawfect Match? Story
Meet Stanley! This sweet little guy was found in our neighborhood, going door to door to get warm. We think he is approximately 2-3 years of age. He is super sweet, and will follow you around the house and snuggle every chance he gets. He does great in and out of a crate. He does need food to motivate him to go into the crate. He will need some leash training, he gets very excited and pulls with all the smells. He has not once shown any aggression, he wants lots of attention and affection. He is great with kids - ours call him "Stan the Man" and he lights up every time. We would be happy to keep him, but we have three rescue pups already. Please inquire if you think you can provide a wonderful forever home for Stanley

Story
Hello, my name is Anna! I am about 1 year old and weigh 45 pounds. I'm a perfect, medium sized dog! I'm completely house broken and I'm doing great with crate training! You may have noticed that I only have one eye. I went to the shelter with an injury to my eye and the nice vet there fixed me all up! My stitches are completely healed and now I'm good to go! Don't worry, having one eye doesn't slow me down! I can do everything any other dog can do! I especially love running around in my foster family's back yard with my foster brother! I think I'd really like a fenced in back yard and another dog to play with at my forever home. *I WOULD DO BEST IN A HOME WITH ANOTHER CANINE SIBLING PLEASE* I have just the right amount of energy and love to play, but I also am good at relaxing. Toys are pretty new to me and I'm starting to really like playing with them! Fetch is my favorite! I also really love to take naps next to my foster mom or dad. I am microchipped, up to date on my vaccines, and spayed. That pretty much means fully vetted at no cost to you! I get really nervous when I meet new people and I usually run away at first. Once I get comfortable, I love giving kisses and getting pets! My perfect family would be patient and understand that it takes me a little while to warm up to new people. I have been in a house with three kids (ages 15, 13, and 10) and I love them all! I think children younger than 10 year old would be a little too overwhelming for me. My foster family also has a pet bunny who lives in her crate in the living room and I just ignore her. I am a sweet pup with lots of love to give! I am so excited to meet you so that you can see what a special girl I am!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi there! I'm Ernie, a sweet lab mix around 8 years young, and I'm on the lookout for my forever home! I'm a calm and cozy pup who loves lounging nearby while you work or relax. I've recently discovered my playful side and enjoy spreading out my toys from the toy bin, admiring my "work" like a proud artist! I get along great with kids, other dogs, and new people. I find cats a little too fun to chase so I would do best in a feline-free home. I would LOVE another canine companion in my forever home. When we go for walks, I might pull a bit to explore all the interesting scents, but soon I'll settle into a nice trot. Walks are my favorite activity and I'm never ready for them to end! My foster parents leave me home alone (uncrated) and they always return to the house in perfect condition. I had a bit of a rough start, but I'm getting healthier every day and the vet says I'm doing great! I was found a little too thin, so my foster parents have been helping me gain weight. I was recently neutered and microchipped. I am heartworm positive, so I will need to go back to PLR's vet in Apex in a couple of weeks for an overnight stay to complete my heartworm treatment. The cost of the heartworm treatment can only be covered by Peak Lab Rescue if done at one of their vets in Apex. I may be an older pup, but I have so much love to give! My calm demeanor combined with my playful spirit makes me the perfect addition to any family. If you're looking for a loyal companion-let's meet! I can't wait to find my forever home where I can thrive and share all my cuddles. Could that be with you?

Story
Hi! I’m DJ. I am 10 months old and 70 lbs. I’m up-to-date on all my vaccinations and have been neutered. I’m playful and energetic. I love to run and play. I’m good with other dogs and like to run around with them. I’ve been around kids and I like them, I’m just a goofy puppy that doesn’t know the word careful yet. I’m housebroken and do great in my crate. I can’t be left in the house unsupervised, so all you have to do is say “go to your room” and give me a treat. DJ has a lot of puppy energy and would do well in an active-lifestyle home. He has strong athletic abilities and would be good on an agility course.

Story
Luna needs someones help so she doesn't have to spend countless days in her crate alone. The dog was brought into our home after a family loss. Unfortunately, her human owners have busy life plans that involve relocating to a different state in 2025. One of the humans will be entering medical school and the other has a full time job. Luna needs a loving home where either she is the only pet or there are only other dogs (big, small, young, old... She does get along with all). However, no cats, as she has been aggressive towards them before. She is fine with children who are at least 6-7, we have not observed her around toddlers and babies. Luna is a lab mix with something? She loves playing, running, and has been through a month-long training program. She is crate trained, and knows commands including stay/come, sit, down, and paw. Luna is the perfect dog for anyone who is prepared for her tireless energy and playfulness. We wish we could have done better for her.
