Story
Hi, I’m Sonia, a charming and affectionate four-year-old girl born on Valentine’s Day! With a sleek black coat and a striking white blaze on my chest, I’m smart, eager to please, and highly motivated by food and praise, making training enjoyable for me. My favorite activities include exploring the woods, running off energy, and then napping. I also love treats and toys, and I’m generally easy to please. At home, I’m calm, quiet, and well-behaved, often napping or watching for squirrels from the sofa. While I may bark at strangers and can be anxious around some people, I warm up quickly and show my affectionate side. I’m known to be “dog-reactive,” meaning I’m not the best with other dogs, but I do have a couple of canine friends. Cats are not a good match for me, as I prefer to steer clear of them. I’m looking for a loving and stable home that can provide attention and training to build my confidence. I promise to share my love and enjoy soft ear rubs. Could you be my forever family?

Story
Hi there, my name is Babi! I am a friendly and affectionate older gal who loves attention! I would be best in a home with no cats, and I will need slow/monitored introductions to any new people or other pets in the home. Insights from my adventure buddies:`Babi was the absolute sweetest! She was potty trained and did well on walks. When seeing other dogs she did not react much, but this was from afar. She was a couch potato and loved to give cuddles. She loved to go on walks and did an amazing job in her new environment. She is super low maintenance and would be a great addition to someone`s home! She does have some slight separation anxiety, but nothing that wouldn`t go away with time and a little training!``Babi was such a sweet girl. Super chill and so well behaved. She seems potty trained, was excited to go on walks and be in the car and loved a pup cup. She loved sitting in the apartment, never barked, and was soooo cute and sweet! We loved her and hope she finds a great home ASAP.``Babi is really a perfect dog. We had such a fun day with her. Although she is a bit on the older side, she had no shortage of energy. We started the day with a run on the Bolin Creek trail which she did great on. She didn`t pull on the leash or stop too much and can match speed really well. She was a little bit reactive towards other dogs (barking and pulling towards them) but was fine other than that, and that was her only flaw. After our walk, we had tons of cuddle and play time inside and she did great. She seems housetrained and goes to the door when she needs to go outside. She loves to play and is also one of the best cuddlers ever. She is so sweet and will

Story
My name is Yin and I came to the shelter as a stray so not much is known about me. I am a sweet boy with humans and came in with another dog that I seemed to get along well with. However, I have had issues with livestock/horses in the past that will need to be managed and monitored and slow introductions with other animals are recommended. My foster home reports that my leash skills have really been improving. And they also report that I have become much less reactive to bikes/cars/runners with time and training. I`m very smart and eager to learn. Give me a chance! The shelter folks know me as Yin, but the couple that took me in during the storm call me Shadow, because I am their little shadow and follow them all around the house. I have been such a good dog that they decided to keep me at the house after the storm. Let me tell you a little about myself:I am a perfect angel in the house, I seem completely house trained, don’t chew on anything except what I have been given to chew and I stay off the furniture all on my own. I don’t even beg for human food! And I don’t jump…..much. I know `sit` really well. I am working on `down` now.I have a very soft, shiny coat and have not shed at all while in this home. I am very clean! I have beautiful golden eyes.I am very calm and take naps when nothing is going on in the house. I love ear messages and lots of pets and kisses. I am very affectionate and love to be loved. Neck hugs are the best!I was in a very loving home in the past but they did not show me how to play so I have no idea what to do if you throw a ball or try to play tug even though I am a Labrador retriever. I need someone to show me how to be a dog in this regard.Speaking of dogs….I react to dogs when we are out taking walks. That is my biggest challenge. Maybe I have not gotten to socialize with other dogs very much. I may need some training in this regard, but I am sure I can learn to be a good dog regarding this too. Sometimes I pull on the leash during walks but I am getting so much better at this after just a few days with my

Story
Meet Wraven, a loving, spirited sweetheart! Her favorite activities are playing fetch in a fenced yard and chewing on a peanut butter-filled Kong. If you can throw a tennis ball, you'll have a friend for life in Wraven! Wraven is an intelligent girl who loves to shake hands, and has also mastered Sit, Bed, and Drop It. She sleeps through the night without a peep, and often enjoys slow mornings in her crate. Wraven is always happy to spend time with her people, and she shows her affection with lots of kisses, cuddles, and requests for belly rubs! Wraven has interacted with young children very gently but she is a big girl who needs a family who will provide good supervision around little ones. Although Wraven has cohabitated with two cats, she loves them too much and likes to chase. Wraven is practicing walking calmly on a leash. She greatly wants to meet and play with other dogs she sees! Training and patience will help Wraven become the best walking companion. PHYSICAL Wraven has a silky black coat and warm brown eyes. HEALTH Wraven is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. HISTORY Wraven's previous owner brought her to a local shelter because of financial hardship.

Story
Rainier (aka Rainey Roo) is a happy, playful and affectionate puppy! He’s friendly and curious, though a little shy at first. Rainier walks well on a leash and would thrive in a home that enjoys both playtime and snuggles. While he’s an active pup, he also knows when to settle down, curling up in his crate when he’s ready for a nap. He does very well in the crate and currently will whine a little to go out when he needs to in the night and then settles back in quickly to sleep. This smart boy is food-motivated and eager to please, making him a joy to train. He already knows "sit" and we are working on more. Rainey is almost fully potty trained and will whine when he needs to go outside. While Rainier enjoys playing with both humans and dogs alike, he is just as happy entertaining himself with a toy or snoozing at your feet. Like any curious puppy, he will get into things if he doesn’t have another more appropriate outlet, so he will need training and enrichment to continue his learning. PHYSICAL Rainer has soft cocoa fur with white dipped toes, a white chest expressive ears, and the prettiest green eyes. HEALTH Rainey is receiving his rounds of puppy vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He will be microchipped soon and neutered when age appropriate.

Story
Marley is: - A 6-year-old Labrador-Pitbull mix - Energetic - Affectionate - Anxious - A crybaby - Easily excited (by strangers, on walks, etc.) - Bathroom-trained (never had an accident) - Crate-trained - Food-motivated - An anxious walker - Not a fan of rain - Not the best with his nose, but loves to use it - A food-sneak Marley’s family loves him very much. But after some big changes and a caretaker geographic change (move to Europe), he needs another loving home. A close-access to a backyard, park, or other area where Marley can sniff and run about is great for him.

Story
My name is Milo and as you can see, I am a handsome hunk; everyone tells me my eyes are beautiful! My mom has a disability and I am a tad too big for her. I am 2 1/2, crate trained, and know sit, wait, ok...meaning I can go out the door or out of the car. My grandma says that I am smart and devoted. I heard her tell someone that while she grew up with German Shepherds and then had Border Collies and Standard Poodles, (all of whom are very, very intelligent dogs), she is impressed by what I learn everyday. She loves that I knock on the door instead of barking when I want to come in. Once I know the pattern of what is happening, I am very patient till she gets herself together! I am playful and everyone's best friend. Can I be yours?
