Sweet Cozy loves to run and play but is still timid with people. She is very sweet but will require some patience and help with leash training. She is still considered a flight risk Est DOB 2/5/19 The standard adoption fee is $200, but it may vary depending on the situation and the animal. This includes vetting such as shots, spaying or neutering, microchipping, deworming, and heartworm testing if the animal is over six months of age. Please note**** We are a volunteer organization. Adoption events are held every Saturday 10-2 at our facility located st 2049 Badin Rd. Most of our animals are in foster homes. Please contact the foster if you would like to meet one of our rescues. Dobby was found after he broke free from his tether that had grown into his neck over time. he also had an axe wound on the top of his head that had gotten infected. the woman who found him nursed him back to health and surrender him to us to find him a forever home. he is very sweet and attentive. loves to play fetch and would make a great companion or family dog. he is heartworm positive, but this is an easily treatable condition and is currently on preventatives. NC Tri-County Area Miss Scarlett is an extraordinary dog! She has a shiny black coat, beautiful eyes, and weighs only 35 pounds full grown. Her foster describes her as a very, very sweet girl. She was saved from being euthanized from a HIGH KILL Shelter. She loves treats a lot and will do tricks to get them! She has a ton of energy and is perfect for people who like to run or stay super active. She thinks other dogs are interesting. She doesn't bark at them at all. After playing a lot, she loves to cuddle and be cozy with you. Cars make her a bit scared, but she's working on not being afraid. She knows how to sit and loves learning new things, especially if there are treats! She pulls a little on the leash when walking because she's so excited, but she's good at listening and learning. She is a dog who will bring you joy, laughter, and unconditional love. She is heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. A healthy girl who loves people and toys. Her eyes are beautiful. A little background on her: She was starved as a puppy, so she goes crazy over food and has a high metabolism so gets 2 cups of food a day instead of 1. She is crate trained but needs to go out often to avoid an accident. She's rough and rowdy when playing with another dog but is afraid of dogs bigger than she is. It must be A medium sized male who is fixed would be great for her. She is too much for a smaller dog. She LOVES people, is very respectful, and listens. She would do best with older kids as she may knock smaller kids down not meaning to. How she is with cats is unknown.

Smokey is a striking mixed breed, possibly a blend of silver/charcoal Doberman and Labrador, with lineage from an American Staffordshire Terrier mother and a father resembling a German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. At 6 months old, he boasts a gray coat with a white patch on his chest and captivating steel gray eyes tinged with blue-green. He is truly breathtaking. As of his last check-up on November 16, 2024, he weighed 28 pounds and likely now weighs 52 pounds. Smokey is current with all his vaccinations, including his one-year Rabies shot. He is completely crate and potty trained, possesses a delightful temperament, silly and is highly intelligent. He obediently sits and waits for his food upon command and responds to commands such as sit, wait, stay, come, outside, hungry, shake, and kiss. He loves playing with my dog in the backyard chasing tennis balls and playing tug. He rides very well in the car and loves to go see his Salon lady for nail trim. He does well on harness.

Meet Blu, who comes to us from the community. His journey hasn't been easy. This 10-month-old, 70 lb., Lab mix spent his entire life in the woods with a homeless companion before being surrendered. Now safe and loved in our rescue, he's ready to find his forever home where homelessness will no longer be his reality. Blu is very smart, confident, crate trained, and eager to learn and please. He knows sit already, leashes up well, is very affectionate, loves stuffies, fetch, and outdoor adventures. He is great with new people and friendly dogs who match his enthusiasm. Blu would love to go to an active household with patience, love, and positive guidance. He is currently living in boarding and is also in need of a foster home. Levis is up to date on vaccines and will be scheduled for a neuter soon. Levis is currently living in boarding and is also in need of a foster home.
