Story
Handsome Parker is out of the horrendous shelter and seeking his forever home!  Parker had been living a horrible life, stuck in a dark and dreary shelter in rural Louisiana where the dogs never get outside, and basically live in their own messes.  It is pretty much a death sentence for most dogs there, unless a rescue steps up to take them.  Parker was scheduled to be euthanized, but before that happened, Seventh Heaven Rescue was able to pull him out.  He was immediately sent to the vet to be treated for skin irritation. Parker is estimated to be about 4 years old and is believed to be a Lab/Pit mix.  He is very sweet, friendly and dog social.  Unfortunately, Parker tested positive for Heart Worm and will require treatment.  He is currently being housed in Louisiana and won't be able to travel until lhe finishes his treatment, but we are taking applications for him now.  This boy deserves to live the good life!  We will update his information as time goes on.  Parkers adoption fee is $300 whch goes towards neutering at our vet, vaccines and medical care up to adopton, microchip and transportation fees. ##2183094##

Story
We adopted Harper from a rescue in 2020. She has pretty high anxiety, and extreme vet anxiety, which is why she is not fixed. We have a senior dog, and she is too hyper for the 2 of them to be loose in house together unfortunately. She was predominantly with our son, and slept in his room however he has left for college. She has high energy, and would do best in a single dog home, with no kids and potentially a female only home. She does well with my husband and son, and father in law but does sometimes have anxiety with new males. She is very sweet and loving but just needs more attention than we are able to provide currently. She knows basic commands, but could definitely benefit from some additional training!
