Hi…I’m Kyn Kyn, (really McKynlee, but the people here all call me Kyn Kyn) and I just have to get something off of my chest. I’m a 4 year old, 40 lb, female lab mix. I feel a little guilty for complaining because I live with a wonderful foster family in a wonderful home with wonderful dogs. But, I can’t help myself…because as much as I love it here, I know that I can’t be here forever and all I want is to be in a home that I know I can settle into forever. I absolutely ADORE my people and even like to show them this regularly. My foster mom works at the table a lot and I know she just melts with love for me when I come over and rest my head on her leg and look into her eyes…(I’ve overheard her talking about me). This is not a relationship that can last though…she needs the space to be able to foster more dogs so they don’t get killed and I need to be able to feel settled. I’m a love bug to my favorite people, gentle and sweet they say. I’m a real snuggle bunny and like to mold myself into my people to cuddle or lay against a leg or on a foot; it really gives me such a sense of contentment. I’m gonna be honest though…I’m not one of these girls who will instantly love everyone I meet, but I will sniff and check out visitors; it just takes me some time before I am ready for strangers to pet me. You’ll need to be a little patient with me because this change to an adoptive family is not going to be easy for me. In fact, it’s kind of scary even as it is also exciting. I do know that once I’ve spent a little time with an adopter, I will give them all of the same love and melt their hearts as I do everyone who meets me, (especially because I love treats). I hear my foster parents say that it's hard to find a dog who loves as hard as I do.😊 I’m fearful of new people and situations but once settled will romp with other dogs in the yard because it’s real fun. I think one of the problems is that people want me to seamlessly move to a new family and life and it’s just not me, so I don’t “show well.” I need someone who understands who I am and has the patience to let me grow into them as I have my foster family. Since I love attention and treats, it’s not too hard to get me to feel loved…and then I wake up full of joy in the morning and make happy noises for everyone and do prancing zoomies in the yard. I’m gonna give it to you straight…I might just want to be a homebody; and not go out and about too much because I feel scared when I do that. Maybe this will change for me but I’m not sure. Since new things make me nervous, maybe I shouldn’t be with young children and would do better with 12 year olds and up…they’re not as unpredictable as those little human children can be. (I hope this doesn’t insult any of you humans). I’ve heard them call me an “angel” which makes me feel happy inside. I try to do the right thing so I’m crate, house, and leash trained and know basic commands. They’ve told me what a fast learner I am too. Well, I gotta run now….I hear my foster mom coming and she prefers when I don’t use her computer. Meet Tessie, a 4 year old, 35-pound short-haired Lab mix ready to find her forever home! Tessie may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she becomes a true love bug. Fudge is just as sweet as his name suggests!! This angel boy is a 4.5 month old, 30 pound Lab/Great Pyrenees mix with all of the best of both breeds. We anticipate he will be 70-90 lbs when fully grown. Fudge is a bit timid when meeting new people but does warm up very quickly. He loves attention and does the cutest happy butt wiggle. Inquisitive and smart, he is a quick learner and picked up the routine in his foster home beautifully. He is already crate trained, housetrained if kept on a schedule, and working on his leash training and basic commands. While originally mouthy, he has made quick progress with redirecting to toys. Fudge loves playing with his toys and can often be found collecting them on a dog bed or in his crate. He will even go to the toy box to choose toys to play with. This doll adores the other dogs in his foster home and is playful but also very respectful. Fudge's foster family cannot say enough good things about him! Oh this THE SWEETEST and HAPPIEST FRIENDLIEST furrball filled with love and cuddles! She is beyond perfect! She is therapy for all needing a bff in a dog body! To sum up just how fantastic she is... She is -indoors only - never been an outside tied up dog/traumatized -completely housebroken -can use crate.. although she can be left loose in home and she was great and not destructive -walks on a leash to potty and to take leisurely walks - but will need a bit more training because she is very strong and goofy and doesn't realize her strength -quiet, easy going, affectionate, sweet, lap dog, mid energy -loves to go for a ride in the car - great for a mellow or buys family - fine with other dogs AND fine with cats - no medical issues - excellent with children big and small Great companion dog for a person and for another dog looking for a buddy - not toy or food aggressive either! Living shelter after her family abandoned her in a neighbor's yard - so sad and loving and only wanting snuggles - was probably bred but no puppies were relinquished. We had to immediately save her - our number one choice as she is soooo deserving of kindness and gives back love and cuddles non stop (see video and we have more!). Ideal family would be one that knows this breed mix and knows that rescue dogs might need additional training post adoption and has time to be active with her on a daily basis. She is incredibly smart and adores loving you and to be loved!! She was rescued down South by our partner rescue and now is ready for adoption up north. She spayed heartworm negative and had proper vaccines and vetting. She loves to play in the yard and is learning to be on a leash and loves being by your side. Won't u be the light in her life? Juliet is about 65lbs and perfect size for her breed. She has had her vaccines and microchip and has been dewormed/defleaed too. Donation is $550 since almost all vetting is now complete. Goku is a great dog. He is good with other dogs, cats and babies as well. He loves humans, playing with them, being petted. We’ve had him since he was a puppy but unfortunately due to personal reasons we need to rehome him. He knows several commands such as walk, sit, down, paw, etc. He’s very smart and a beautiful dog who will serve your family well. He is house trained and only poops and pees outside in the grass. We’re looking for a forever family for Goku.
