Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Well lets just tell the truth, ALBERT is a special kind of mutt who is just a very loving and ideal companion for any family.  His mother is a spaniel terrier and since we found her on the streets, his daddy could be any breed. He fits in perfectly in any situation, he adjust well to any change in the foster home.  ALBERT plays well with all of the dogs big and small but can be a bit submissive sometimes.  He has no aggression in any area.  He shares his food and his toys. ALBERT and his sister BABYGIRL were born in my home August 2023 when I rescued their very pregnant mother from the streaming hot streets of San Antonio, TX.  Of the 7 puppies that were born here ALBERT & BABYGIRL are still waiting for their homes. He is crate trained and does not cause any problems at all, he is low-key and just a really good dog all around.  ALBERT is very loving and likes to sleep with me when there is space available, he would love to have his own human that will give him love and attention. I do not have any cats in my home to know how he would get along with them.  If you are interested in adopting ALBERT or his sister BABYGIRL, please submit an application on the website below.  If you have any questions, feel free to call me.  Thank you, www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         March 12, 2026, 9:09 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.ALBERT is almost 2 years old in August, 2025 and a typical playful puppy who was born in my house.  He is part of a litter of 7 born from a long hair chihuahua/Springer Spaniel/terrier mother.  I have no idea who dad is.  I rescued the mother from the streets during the 100 degree weather heavily pregnant. ALBERT weighs 20 pounds and I believe has reached his adult height & weight already.  His mother was only 22 pounds.  This little boy would really like a home of his own with a yard to run around in.  I do not think he would make a good apartment dog.  He is eager to please and loves hanging out with his adopted sister CIRI. ALBERT was adopted into a home to be a companion to a female dog and that has been wonderful.  The female dog is no longer depressed and so happy that she has ALBERT to play with.  The owner is asking to rehome ALBERT because he does not get along with a male family member who lives in the home.  ALBERT does get along with other male family members as well as strangers who enter the home.  He is a lover and very social and friendly with everyone.  It is just something about this one nephew that ALBERT feels uneasy about.  ALBERT is not mean or aggressive, it is just 1 person out of many that he does not get along with. He has already proven that he will make a great pet playmate and a loyal companion to the owner.  They are heartbroken to have to rehome him and only want the best for him. If you are interested in adopting him please submit an application on the website below OR contact Dusty at 210-387-5228 to discuss scheduling a meet and greet.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Story
Hondo is almost 3 years old (4/15/23). He’s very active and would benefit from an equally active family. We had him in overnight training for a few weeks locally in 2024 because the goal was for him to be a therapy dog, however the trainer told us he’d be better for hunting or sports. If you hunt, please know his nose skills aren’t all that great haha. We bought him a few hours away at a farm when he was a puppy. He’s great with babies/toddlers/kids and he likes playing with another family members pit bull. He’s very sweet and LOVES cuddles, but also enjoys running around in the backyard and playing fetch. He’s definitely an alert dog so if someone is at the door (or the wind blows) he will let you know. He’s NOT a guard dog because he will play with any and everyone who will pay him attention!

Story
This is Brownie he is a 3 year old brindle lab/ golden retriever mix he’s very lovable, energetic, and very adaptable he’s protective and has only known us as his owners (me and my fiancé) for all 3 years so it will take maybe a day or so to figure out what’s going on and adapt but he’s good around others he loves going to the vet we could honestly walk away and he’s stay lol he’s very charming loves to play with toys he’s trained to go do his dos outside also crate trained while being house trained as well he’s use to having his bed in our room and sleeping outside of the crate but can sleep in crate if needed! Loves a backyard he’s leash trained but leash was not used as much he prefers to use the bathroom on his own in a backyard then on a leash he’s shy when it comes to doing his dos ❤️ other than that he’s great with kids he’s aware that they are more sensitive and fragile than us he won’t even take a treat out of their hands❤️

Story
We’re looking for a new loving home for our sweet girl. This is not an easy decision for us, and we truly want to find someone who will treat her like family. She is a very well-behaved and gentle dog. She can be a little timid and gets startled easily sometimes, but she is incredibly sweet, quiet, and never aggressive. Once she feels safe, she is very affectionate and loves being around her people. She has a bit of a sensitive stomach, so we don’t switch her food often or give too many treats. As long as she stays on the same food, she does perfectly fine and healthy. She already knows basic commands like sit, shake, and lie down, and she has great recall—she will come back when called. She is easy to manage and has no behavioral issues. She would do best in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. If you think you could be the right home for her, please reach out. We just want her to be happy and well cared for.
