Story
**Meet Tiny Ears!** - **Name:** Tiny Ears - **Age:** 2 years old - **Preferences:** Loves walks, good with dogs, would be great with kids, needs to be cat tested Tiny Ears is a strikingly handsome husky-lab mix with, you guessed it, adorably tiny ears that only add to his charm! Rescued from a Tennessee shelter after the devastating Hurricane Helene, this sweet boy defied all odds after surviving a cruelty case where he and 11 other dogs were left locked in a building without airflow, water, or food—all while the temperature soared to a blistering 100 degrees. But don’t let his tough past fool you; Tiny Ears is a gentle soul with pretty eyes that sparkle with kindness. He’s found joy in his new state and loves to frolic in the New York snow like it’s his personal winter wonderland! Tiny Ears enjoys quiet walks, and he’s good with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for families! He’s ready to leave his hardships behind and embrace a life filled with love, adventures, and, of course, lots of head scratches. Could you be the lucky one to give him the forever home he truly deserves?

Story
Hi there! I'm Coca, a one-year-old Lab mix, and I’m just bursting with love and energy! I absolutely adore meeting new people and making friends, both human and furry alike. My favorite thing in the world is playing with other dogs, and I’ve got the waggiest tail to show how excited I am! I’m a little cautious with fast movements, so I appreciate a calm and gentle approach, especially when things get a little hectic. Once I feel safe, I’m all in for belly rubs and snuggles. My heart is as big as my boundless enthusiasm, and I can’t wait to find a forever home where I can shower everyone with my affection! C’mon over to our website at www.rdrne.org to fetch an application and make it official! You must be at least 25 and live within a 5-hour driving radius of Thompson PA. We check veterinary references and require all pets within the home to be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and maintained on heartworm and flea & tick preventatives. ##2157934##

Story
Wassup everyone! I’m Cartman, the gentle giant from my litter of Labrador and Border Terrier mixes. Sure, I might be the biggest, but don’t let that fool you—I’m all about peace, quiet, and snuggles. I’ve got a soft spot for cuddles and a sixth sense for knowing when my hooman needs a little extra love. I’ll be your personal cheerleader and shoulder to lean on, no matter what. I love nothing more than an outdoor adventure, feeling the breeze in my fur, and sniffing out the latest smells. Just a friendly heads-up: I might see your houseplants as tasty chew toys—I mean, they’re practically begging to be nibbled on, right? If you’re looking for a loyal, loving buddy who's always up for a cuddle and a good heart-to-heart, I’m your pup! Story
Hi, I'm Freddy, a three-year-old mixed breed. Sadly, my previous family couldn't take care of me anymore, so I came to Stray Haven. I'm a good boy who's still adjusting to the shelter environment. It can be intimidating for me, especially since I'm a bit shy and tend to keep to myself.Although I may not appear very sociable at the shelter, I'm optimistic that a kind and patient individual will give me a chance to get to know them. Once I establish a bond and feel at ease, I enjoy cuddling and engaging in playful activities. I'm a friendly and mild-mannered young fellow who simply requires some time to acclimate to unfamiliar surroundings and individuals.I'm looking for a loving home where I can feel safe and secure. Ideally, my new family will be able to give me plenty of attention, exercise, and positive reinforcement. With a little patience and understanding, I'll make a loyal and loving companion for someone out there.Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays

Story
Tucker is a 44 pound pup who came to us when his owner wasn`t able to give him the time he needed. He has lived with other dogs and may do well if you have another dog at home. Our adoption teams would set up a dog meet with you if you`re interested in potentially adopting him. Since he hasn`t lived with cats, we don`t know how he`ll do with them. Our adoptions team will talk about how to slowly introduce them to each other if you think Tucker is the right fit for your family. Tucker is a young dude and with that comes young pup energy. Our behavior team and volunteers are working daily with him on his manners. Tucker loves back scratches, making new friends and snacks! If you`re interested in meeting Tucker, stop by the shelter Tuesday-Sunday 12-4:30 (extended hours Thursday until 6:30) to do a meet with all household humans (big and small)! (Adoption Category: Lilac)

Story
Rehoming for my in-laws. Sammy can be a very sweet girl for her people, new people or kids (unless she knows you) she tends to be weary about and can have aggressive tendencies. She is taken care of but has been a primarily outside dog so she is not potty trained and will need work. She may do okay with other dogs and likes to play but could have territorial issues, also has food aggression. We would love to see her go to someone who is willing and has the time to work with her, she can be a wonderful dog if given the chance. We are not in the place to take her and give her the time/work she needs. Please contact us for any questions or if you are interested. She would need to meet you and be comfortable before taking her home.
