Story
Hi I'm Lucas! I'm a little bit of a sensitive guy but I like to make new friends when they are patient and kind to me. I love treats, play time, and practicing walking on a leash. I was even really good for bath time when I had to take one (especially because I got lots of tasty bribes from my friends). If you've got a soft spot for the shyer pups please come down to the shelter and ask to meet me!

Story
With her shiny black coat and chocolate brown eyes, Xena is a real show stopper. Evacuated from Ruidoso, she`s still settling in and can take a bit to warm up, but once she does, she`s a sweetheart with a penchant for cheese and head rubs. Xena would love to find a quieter home that will give her the time and space to decompress and open up. With a soft bed, lots of pets, and some string cheese, she`s likely to be your best friend in no time. Here`s What her foster family says: Xena is pure joy! She loves our dogs and gets super goofy when they play with each other. She zoomies with all her heart and her smile is ear to ear. She loves to go on walks and explore everything around her, she walks great with her doggo friends too. Xena loves treats and belly rubs and would make a great addition to any family as she is not trying to be Top Dog, just be a part of the pack. She will happily sit next to her human relaxing under the portal or on the couch watching a good movie. She is a great all-around companion who would enjoy a good hike or just hanging out at the local patio. Xena is a beautiful dog with the heart to match, she is sweet, good temperament, kind, gentle, and loves her humans and dogs, cats are unknown. Xena is house trained. If you are considering adding to your dog family, please apply to meet Xena, she is simply Awesome!

Story
Frida is ready to be your snow queen, just in time for the holidays! This fluffy white bundle of cuteness was so nervous when she first got to the shelter, but with a little patience, love, and treats, she`s opened up so much, with people and other dogs. Frida would love to find a forever home that will let her take some time to settle in, help grow her confidence, and maybe even has a four legged brother or sister for her to play with.
