Story
Meet Nevada! If you are looking for a true snuggle bug then here she is! Poor Nevada (previously named Nellie) must have had a rough life. She has scars all over her body but that does not change her inner beauty and she is a lovely, ~8 to 10 yrs. old medium-size mixed breed sweetheart. Nevada LOVES to play with her toys and will share them nicely with you. She takes food, treats, and toys gently, loves to sun-bathe in the play yard, and loves to go for walks. She is strong on the leash but loves her walks. Nevada knows some commands and is a willing participant. This girl wants nothing more than to relax in a quieter side home with adults or older children. Best as your one and only pet in the home and will shower you with love. Won't you please be her forever person or family? Please apply to adopt Nevada at Rescueridge.com and if your application is a possible match a volunteer will get back to you shortly.   Meet Alex and Nicki: Two Sweet 7-Year-Old Labradors in Need of a Forever Home! (This is a courtesy post on Rescue Ridge) Contact 732-275-4924 to learn more about how you can make Alex and Nicki a part of your family. They’ve spent their entire lives together, and now they need your help to keep it that way, if possible! About Alex & Nicki: Age: 7 years old, with hearts full of love! Health: The owner will have them vaccinated and heartworm tested before they join your family. Status: They’re ready to bring joy and companionship into your life. Alex and Nicki are in a temporary home right now, but it’s just that…temporary. These sweet girls deserve a permanent place to feel safe and loved for the rest of their lives. Ideally, they would love to find a home together, but two loving homes would be OK if necessary, too. Please Don’t Let Them End Up in a Shelter! They’ve been through so much together and don’t deserve to spend their final years in a shelter. Alex and Nicki will warm your heart, and all they ask in return is a loving home where they can stay together. Story
Meet Bo, a handsome 3 yr old, 80 lb. Labrador.. Bo was surrendered to a local shelter when his owners lost their home. He  is a bit stressed in the kennel and  definitely missing being in a home.  Bo is a friendly, playful boy. He loves his toys and all the butt scratching he can get! Bo  knows several commands and would do well with an active family that can give him plenty of exercise. He’d make a great walking partner or hiking buddy too! We recommend older kids due to his size. Bo doesn’t seem to mind other dogs, but think he would do best as the only dog in the home. Bo is neutered, and up to date on vaccines. If you think you can provide the loving him this sweet boy deserves, please fill out an application at rescueridge.com. If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will reach out to you to schedule a meet. Please, no inquires without an adoption application. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Victoria is a beautiful girl who is looking for a home. Victoria is with our partner rescue in Louisiana but can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved applicants. Victoria has a super sweet personality and loves to be with her people. She is in foster in Louisiana with 3 large dogs and one small dog and she does well with the large dogs. Victoria loves walks and loves yard time. Victoria is housebroken and crate trained with just a little whining at first. Victoria is fixed, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. Victoria tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450.   How to Adopt Me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Bean is a beauty who is looking for a home! Bean is now in a NJ foster home. Bean is a sweet, friendly pup who has been in foster with kids and she loves everyone! She was adopted briefly and she and the resident female dog did not get along well so the family thought it best to return Bean. She be ok with male and/or more submissive dogs but it is likely she would do best as the only dog. Bean does tend to guard her food so she must be fed separately from other dogs. Bean is playful and loves toys. She is housebroken and crate trained. Since being returned, Bean has become reactive on leash towards other dogs too. We are giving her some time from being returned to decompress. Bean is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm.
