Story
Smokey and his sister Nova were owner surrenders. Smokey is a happy, affectionate and friendly boy. This handsome boy loves people and gets along with other dogs. We do not know what he thinks of cats. Smokey is crate trained and will go in at bedtime without any fuss. He is doing great with housetraining in his foster home and has not had an accident in the last few days. He is learning some basic commands and knows how to do a sit already. Smokey walks well on a leash, is super affectionate, and has soft, soft fur. Smokey is about 4 months old and 24 pounds. Please help Smokey find the loving home he deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event.
