Prepare your heart for Bentley, a 50 pound 2-3 year old Yellow Lab mix whose journey is etched with hardship and hope. Found saddened and lost on a desolate Kentucky highway during the bitter chill of winter, Bentley's story begins with fear and uncertainty. It took the kindness of a stranger to scoop him up from the cold pavement, offering him solace and care amidst the freezing temperatures. Veterinary attention and the gentle touch of compassion ensured Bentley's survival, but his journey was far from over. Now, Bentley stands as a testament to resilience, his once-fearful eyes now filled with a glimmer of optimism. Despite his tumultuous past, Bentley's spirit remains unbroken. In the hands of a devoted trainer, Bentley has begun to blossom. He has been making great strides with training and learning his manners. Bentley now knows sit, down, place, learning heel, walks on loose leash, recall is good, and also does some tricks such as spin, roll over and leg weaves. His trainer mentioned that Bentley truly just likes to have fun and is eager to please. While Bentley's heart knows no bounds, his path forward is in need of the same amount of love that he has to give. He's also dog-friendly showcasing his loving and happy nature. He prefers a child free home where he will get all the attention to soothe his weary soul.
