Story
Maggie is 3.5 yr. old, high energy, very ball/fetch motivated, loving dog. She has great eye contact and attention, loves to be near people and touched, loves to run and swim. Very smart and easy to train. A wonderful companion for quiet evenings around the house. She is great with humans of all ages (even toddlers). But reactive to other dogs and cats. Although she was raised in our home with her 3 yr. old yellow lab 'sister', she has grown be highly reactive to other dogs (including her sister). She has a bite history with dogs that seems to be getting worse. We cannot tolerate this behavior. If you or someone you know would be interested in falling in love with a great friend - please consider Maggie. Ideally a new home would provide her with room to run and play, an owner who wants to train her or just play fetch with her, and just love her. She needs an owner who understands that she is very reactive and should always be on leash when around other dogs.

Story
We are looking to rehome our sweet black lab, Maggie. She is very good with people of all ages, including toddlers and children. She is responsive to commands, eager to please, and she will play fetch until she is exhausted. She has spent considerable time with families inside and out, and she is patient and gentle. She is a good companion and very loyal. The reason we need to rehome her is she is reactive to other dogs. She has a bite history, including with our other lab, Gilly. We feel it is time to have them separated permanently and we are choosing to keep Gilly. We feel the best home for Maggie is one without other dogs or cats. She would need a fenced-in yard or secluded area for exercise, and would have to be on leash when around other dogs. We are heartbroken to have to do this, but we feel it is the best for both of our dogs. If you feel you are a good fit for Maggie, please respond to this post, and we would be happy to answer any questions you have. Thank you.

Story
HI - I'M RUMBA! I'm a lovable and happy 3-year-old, 56 pound husky-lab mix, currently in a foster home, where I share my days with two other dogs. I'm such a sweet boy and so full of joy! I'm just waiting for my forever home and whomever finds me will be very lucky! I've waited too long already and who knows why since I'm super cute, loving and an all-around great dog. A little about me: I love being near my person or people and would be happiest in a home where you are with me more often than not. I am fine being home alone for several hours, though - but I do get lonely! I am not destructive and do not need to be crated while home alone. I'm also very mellow in the house and I simply love to lounge around with my person or people. I'm a big couch potato and a big cuddler! I'm also great with kids and would do well in a family with kids, even young ones. I'm also very dog friendly and while I was in California (I was rescued from a shelter there), I spent my days at a doggy daycare, romping with my many friends. I do great meeting other dogs when not on a leash, and I'm a great playmate! On a leash I can be a bit reactive, which is a common thing, so if possible I'd love my own big backyard, too. But I still need exercise because I'm a young boy and will welcome the chance to go for walks and hikes. I would do great in a home with another dog, or fine as an only dog, too. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M THEO! I'm a 2-year-old lab mix, likely part Rottweiler. I am beautiful and sweet boy - I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter where I had multiple kennel mates. I love other dogs and I am a sweetheart with people. I am a strong dog, so would benefit by having a strong owner to take me for walks, hikes and other outings. I'm just an all-around wonderful dog who deserves a home. I'm currently looking for a foster or forever home. Please email for an application.
