Meet Binx! Binx was saved along with his 5 siblings from life in a shed, where they were being kept in a small kennel with very limited food and water. Binx was only 8lbs at 3 months old but since coming to the shelter he has steadily gained weight and is thriving once again. He is currently 4 1/2 months old and waiting to receive his 3rd round of Parvo vaccines, she is very much your typical puppy who will need lots of attention and direction on how to be the best pup he can be. Binx will be adopted out as a "Foster to Adopt" as he will need his vetting completed, prior to going to his new home he will have had all 3 Rounds of her Parvo Vaccines, this includes Lepto, Bordetella as well as a Rabies Vaccine. He will be scheduled to be Spayed in Late February as well. Kodiak had an owner who refused to come claim him, we wish we knew why because this boy was so sad when he first came to us that he just sat and cried and cried and didn't want to eat much initially either. After a couple of weeks with us he has settled in and realizes he is safe and still loved and cared for. Kodiak is a ham for the camera and has an all around great personality! He has done well with everyone he meets! Kodiak will be entering the Puppies for Parole 10 Week Training Session. Dixie was almost 70lbs upon intake! She was a HEFTY girl! She’s lost about 10lbs with her fosters with regular exercise and a diet, but will still need to lean out about. One problem: she is LAZY 🤣 Dixie is very particular and bossy; so if you’re looking for a sweetheart with some sass, Dixie is your gal. She lives up to the Southern Belle name, and will give you a look like “bless your heart” when she doesn’t want to listen. She isn’t a flight risk because that would involve running and well… she’s not a runner, too much work 😅 We do think Dixie would do fine with older kiddos, but would probably be anxious around littles that haven’t learned to respect animal boundaries quite yet. She is a SNUGGLE BUG, but also perfectly fine with just chilling in her dog bed on her own. She’s not a fan of crates, but she is completely potty trained and doesn’t destroy things in her foster home. ✅ Good with dogs ✅ Good with cats - will chase if they run, but just looks at them funny if they don’t 🤣 not aggressive! If you’re interested in meeting Dixie, her foster parents would love to have you out to the farm to meet her!
