Story
Sylvie will completely melt your heart when you meet her. At 4.5 months old, she is one of the gentlest pups you’ll ever meet. Sylvie was very unsocialized as a puppy and lacks confidence, but she loves being loved on. She’ll happily let you give her belly rubs, neck scratches, and face kisses. While she is cautious when approaching strangers, she welcomes the attention when they approach her. Sylvie is fantastic with other dogs and must have a dog companion in her new home. She loves being outside, playing with her foster fur friend, and will need a fenced yard to safely explore. Sylvie would be a wonderful companion for a family with older kids or no kids. She would prefer someone that is home often. She will thrive with a family who can build her confidence and show her how kind and loving humans can be. If you’re ready to spoil this gentle girl and give her the loving home she deserves, apply to meet her https://luckychancerescue.com/adoption-applicationNovember 21, 2024, 12:15 am

Story
Meet Willoughby, a handsome, sweet Lab mix who is looking for a loving home! Willoughby is an absolute bundle of joy—sweet, loving, and always happy! He’s all puppy, with a playful spirit that shines through. He really enjoys running around the yard playing with his fur friends. One of his favorite activities is playing fetch and tug-o-war—he’ll happily chase after the ball, and bring it back for another round of fun. Willoughby is a social butterfly and gets along great with both kids and other dogs. He is also gentle and affectionate when it’s cuddle time. He loves having lots of snuggles with his humans! Willoughby is already working hard on his potty training and is a quick learner, especially since he’s food-motivated and loves his treats! While he hasn’t started leash training yet due to the cold weather, he’s sure to catch on quickly once the weather warms up. He’ll be excited to join his new family on walks and hikes, where he’ll be your enthusiastic companion. If you’re looking for an energetic, sweet, and loving puppy to brighten your life, Willoughby could be the perfect match for you. Story
Delmar is a 20 week-old puppy with a heart full of love! While he can be a bit timid at first, he warms up beautifully to those who show him patience and care. Delmar thrives in a calm environment—he loves cuddles, playing with his two doggy friends, and just being part of the pack. Delmar would do best in a home with another dog to help him feel secure. While a fenced yard isn’t necessary, he stays close and walks well on a leash. He’s fully crate-trained, has never had an accident indoors, and recently started whining to let you know when he needs to go outside. He’s been around children and did well after a slow introduction, but he needs time to feel comfortable in new situations. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet pup who just needs a little extra reassurance, Delmar might be the perfect fit for your family! apply to meet him at luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application.January 19, 2025, 11:52 am

Story
Leela is a smart, energetic, happy girl who loves belly rubs and playing with toys. She would love an active family with kids to snuggle and a dog friend to play with. Leela is a beautiful puppy with a playful, loving and energetic personality. We are told her mama is a mix of Australian Shepherd and Poodle (we’re unsure about her dad). She is smart, cuddly, and full of love. Leela is looking for an active family with a big backyard, children so she can have plenty of laps to snuggle and a furry friend to play with and learn from. Leela is already potty-trained and working on her commands, crate training, and leash training. Since she’s still young, her new family will need to continue her training as she grows. Leela loves to play with squeaky toys, tennis balls, and chew bones, especially when it’s time to snuggle in her crate. She’s affectionate, playful, and absolutely loves belly rubs, making her a perfect match for a family who’s ready for a fun, active, and loving dog. If you’re looking for a playful companion who’ll fill your days with joy and cuddles, Leela might be the perfect fit for you. If she sounds like the perfect match, fill out an adoption application at https://luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application to meet her!January 19, 2025, 11:52 am

He will be a loyal, loving companion for a lucky family. Meet Dieter, this sweet and adventurous 4-month-old puppy is looking for his forever home! We were told his mom is an Australian Shepherd/Poodle mix, but we see more of a Lab/Shepherd mix in Dieter’s adorable face. What we know for sure is that he’s a loving, smart, and eager-to-please pup. Dieter is doing great with potty training, crate training, and leash training. He’s a quick learner and thrives on treats and praise, showing off just how intelligent he really is! Though he’s a little shy when meeting new people, it only takes a few treats and some patience to see his affectionate side. Once he’s comfortable, Dieter is all love and cuddles. Story
Meet Freda! This beautiful, sweet puppy is ready to find her forever home. With her sleek black coat and a tiny white tuft on her chest and toes, and those ears, Freda’s beauty is as lovely as her personality! We are told mama is an australian shepherd/poodle mix but we really don’t know what breed mix she is. Let’s just say, she is really a gorgeous, smart and sweet mutt! While she can be a little shy around new people at first, Freda is incredibly curious and confident, give her a few treats and she will quickly gain your trust. She loves exploring her surroundings and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely roam and play. Freda is a wonderful companion and gets along great with other dogs, so she’d do best in a home with a dog friend to help her feel comfortable, have a furry playmate and a cuddle buddy. Freda is smart and eager to please. She’s working hard on potty training, crate training, and leash training, and with lots of praise and treats, she’s making great strides! Freda’s independent spirit means she’ll need a family who appreciates her gentle nature and can give her the time she needs to adjust to new people in her new surroundings. Freda absolutely loves her people and loves to snuggle, so someone home a good part of the day would be great for her. A family with older kids would be wonderful, but because of her shy nature she may be a little intimidated and nervous around younger children, especially toddlers. Freda does love attention, snuggles, and will be a loyal and loving companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, curious, and smart puppy who will become your best friend, Freda might be the one for you! Apply on our website to meet her today at luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application.January 19, 2025, 11:52 am

Story
This amazing big boy needs a place to lay his head. Meet Mr. Eggerson Keaveny, the coolest guy around - his namesake’s video is attached. He is looking for a foster or an adopter. Eggie is a very dark chocolate lab probably with some mastiff mixed in. He’s a four year old who weighs over 90lbs. He LOVES children and playing with toys. I trained him to walk on a Halti and taught him several tricks (his favorite is playing dead 😆). Eggie lives for belly rubs and talking to you, he’s adorably sassy 🐶❤️. Eggie’s new home should be active and with him more than gone. He would love a large family to himself with kids to play with him. He does require a six foot fenced in yard since this big boy can jump a lower one. He loves food and has learned tricks. As you can see from the pictures he’s fun to dress up and loves water. Eggie does have a prey drive so no cats or little animals please. He is crate and house trained.

Story
This is Clyde. He is a black lab blue heeler mix. Weighs in at around 75 pounds. He is house trained. He is a very good dog and very nice and sweet. The only reason I am rehoming him is because he needs more space to run, not our small home, and a new family that can take the time to exercise him the way that he deserves. We just don’t have the time for him like we thought we would. But he is a really good dog and loves to play and nap and cuddle. He also likes to hide his bones haha, so if you give him one don’t expect to see it for another 3 months or until he finds it again haha. If you have any questions just reach out to me. Thank you.

Story
COMING SOON!! Age: 6-7 months old Weight-34lbs Breed guess- Pyrenees/ Aussie/ Lab? MEET GEDDY! ( He's a big RUSH fan😉)    This gorgeous guy had a rough start. He was born in a place with no one who cared and after he and his littermates sought help at the neighbors, he ended up chained up and unsocialized by the time he was just a few months old. His future looked bleek until a wonderful rescuer and transporter got he and his littermates to safety. Initially terrified of everyone and everything, Geddy is making amazing progress learning the ways of the pampered house dog. In just a few days,he followed his foster pack's lead and potty trained himself. He sleeps like a champ in his crate at night and has lots of new furry friends in doggy daycare. He is also learning not every human equals something scary and snuggles are great! And snuggles are great for us too because Geddy has the SOFTEST fur ever! Geddy still has lots to learn about the world but the hope is,this smart guy will be ready to meet his new family in about a month or so. Geddy will require a fenced yard and definitely at least one, confident,  playful dog in his forever home to show him the ropes. This unique and handsome boy won't be available for long once he's ready, so if you think you could be the stable and patient home he needs, send that application in to soardogs.org!! Geddy is current on vaccinations and his neuter and chip placement are scheduled. There are limited choices for size selections. Geddy is listed in the 61-100lbs, we believe will be close to the 65-70lb mark full grown.
