Sergi, a six-year-old Chocolate Lab mix, is a loving and energetic companion. His affectionate nature and enjoyment of cuddles make him a wonderful family dog. To provide Sergi with a fulfilling life, consider: Regular exercise: Ensure he has ample opportunities for physical activity, such as walks, runs, or playtime in a fenced yard. Mental stimulation: Provide toys, puzzles, and training exercises to engage his intelligence. Socialization: Facilitate interactions with other dogs and people to maintain his friendly demeanor. By providing a loving, active, and stimulating environment, you can help Sergi thrive and continue to be a cherished member of your family. Sergi has some hair loss with new growth in certain areas. He has a previous skin dermatitis issue that has been resolved.  PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT:   Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. Story
Gordy is a fun loving, energetic lab mix, who loves affection. Gordys past living situation was outside, with many other dogs, and no vet care. Since Gordy has been rescued, he has been treated for mange, tick disease, and heartworms. He has made tremendous progress in his foster home, but is still very fearful of strangers. Gordy has a lot of personality, is a great communicator (you’ll always know exactly how he’s feeling), and plays well with other dogs, would also thrive as an only dog. Gordy gets very excited, so a home with small children or small animals will not work well for him. Gordy is about 60 pounds but thinks he is small and petite. He is neutered, walks well on a leash, knows some basic commands, and is completely house trained (those are great accomplishments in such a short time). Gordy lives for playtime and snuggling with his person, he does not like to be in a kennel. He will attach himself to the person he trusts, but this will take some time an effort to gain, but he is worth it! If you are looking for a lazy dog, he will not be the one for you. If you are looking for a best friend who adores you and is always ready to hang out, Gordy may be your perfect fit! We are NOT the shelter, we are Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pet Rescue (FJCASP) If interested in meeting this baby, you can find an online adoption application at https://fjcasp.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application/ Adoption fees covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, wormers and preventatives and range from $125-$150.
