Welcome Picasso to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2 year old Lab/Rottie or Shepherd mix. He is 2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He is good on a leash and friendly with other dogs. He loves water and loves to play in the hose water when the kennel is being cleaned. He loves his kennel and will stay in it even when the door is open. He met Apple and Serenity while on leash and was not leash reactive. He was all smiles and tails wagging. He is vaccinated and neutered and looking for his forever home. He would be fine as a family pet. We like the children to be 8 or older. The nice thing about an adult dog is their personality is formed and you know what you are getting. He has some skills like kennel training and leash walking. We know he isn’t leash reactive and was friendly when meeting new dogs. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. Welcome Mazz to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Maz is a 6.5-month-old pup that is Lab/Smooth Coated Collie. She weighs about 40 lbs. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Mazz is the biggest female. She is 3nd biggest in the litter. She is relaxed and one of the least vocal. She is a nice girl and since he is the biggest girl we think he will for sure be 65 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. My Shadow follows me wherever I go!! That is a little disconcerting, however.... Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hi I'm  Candycorn !  I'm a beautiful lady who came into rescue with some secret cargo in my tummy.  I was a good mama and raised my babies and sent them all on to new homes.  Now it's my turn!  With new people and in new places I'll admit I get nervous and I either find a safe corner to hide in or I'll possibly bark.  At home with my foster mama where I'm familiar with things I'm a completely different dog.  I have the bestest happy smile, my tail doesn't stop wagging and I get the cutest dance and zoomies.  I gently jump against my fosters mamas leg so she can give me hugs and kisses.  Sometimes I kiss back!  When she stops I gently put my paw on her arm so she knows I want more.  I also love when she gives me chin and cheek scratches and I should probably mention tummy rubs are great too.     I get along great with all dogs and like to chase and wrestle when they're my friends.  I would do best having a doggie sibling in my new home so they can help me learn the routine in my new home and help me be more confident.     At home I am learning to walk on leash.  It's going great since I trust my foster mom.  It's fun jumping around in the grass and feeling the sun shine down on my face and the wind in my fur.  I haven't pottied on leash yet for her, but I do know that I should do all my business a fenced area so I do request one in my home.   I am kennel trained and I never potty in it.  I'm too smart for that!  I'm usually quiet in it too.  I know it's a safe spot when I need it too, though I prefer to be out hanging around my mom's feet instead.  When she's working I'm usually laying under her desk close to her in case she needs me.  You get treats there and pets haha!   I really like toys!  The soft ones are my favorite to chew on. I never had toys before rescue. I don't always like to share them, but I've learned mom will trade me for them and she'll gently play tug of war with me.     I haven't met any kids yet, but I think I'd be ok with older respectful kids who would be kind and gentle with me.  Fast movement and loud noises are overwhelming and I don't want to get scared and have to run and hide.  A quiet home where I can be a spoiled princess would be awesome.     Come and meet me and I promise you'll find that with a little time to learn that I'm safe and can trust you with my heart that you'll find a loving and loyal family member in me that will love you unconditionally! Welcome to Hank from CCPAL foster program. He is a 3.5 to 4 year old Golden Retreiver/Shepherd dog. He is very smart and affectionate. He has upright ears. He does not jump up, good on a leash, good in a car, knows sit command, potty trained and good with other dogs and kids. He would be a great pet for a family. He lives in a house with other dogs and does great. He also lives with cats. He is currently in foster care until we find his forever home. He weighs about 36 pounds and is a medium sized dog. Welcome Shaggy to CCPAL Rescue. Shaggy is a Golden Retriever/Dachshund or Corgi mixed dog. This is our best guess. He weighs about 15 pounds and has the look of a miniature Golden Retriever. His coat looks very much like and feels like a Golden. He is the most outgoing and social of the 3 that came from the home of the bad human. He initial human sexually abused these dogs. We are working on getting them on a good routine and schedules with lots of wonderful attention and assurance that humans are mostly good people. As you can see from the video, this dog is extremely loving and trusting. He has an incredibly soft coat. A good samaratin got them out of the previous place and sought out CCPAL for help. These dogs are not fully potty trained. He is decent on a leash and we are working on crate training and potty pad work. He is good with other dogs and will be neutered soon and looking for his forever home. He would be fine in a home with children due to his sweet nature. We like children to be 8 or older. He would make a nice walking companion for a retired person. He would also be fine in a setting like Starbucks. He is very friendly with all people, including strangers. He has already started his vaccinations and will be ready for his loving forever home soon. This dog will get lots of applications due to his breed, nature and looks.
