Meet Tinsley: The Freckle-Faced Adventurer Ready for Her Forever Home! Tinsley is a stunning, one-of-a-kind pup with delicate freckles and beautiful black eyeliner that highlights her soulful eyes. Her personality is just as unique and endearing as her looks, and she’s been waiting patiently for her chance to find a family to call her own. A Social Butterfly in the MakingCurrently living harmoniously with both cats and dogs, Tinsley gets along well with her furry companions. She’s a little shy when meeting new people, but with the help of a confident dog in the home, she blossoms and gains courage. Once she trusts you, Tinsley is a total love bug who will happily snuggle on the couch and soak up belly rubs like she’s known you forever. Outdoor EnthusiastTinsley’s happy place is by the water! She loves spending time at the lake and has recently discovered the joy of retrieving balls. Watching her excitement as she dashes back to shore with her prize is like watching someone win the lottery—pure joy and tail wags! Great with Kids and Adventurous at HeartTinsley thinks kids are awesome, but older, responsible children are the best fit for her since she has a bit of a wanderlust streak. She’ll slip out the door for an unscheduled adventure if given the chance, so a family that enjoys intentional outings and keeps a watchful eye on her would be ideal. Hiking, exploring, and playing fetch are right up her alley! A Journey of ResilienceTinsley’s road to rescue is a testament to her strength and love. She and her canine companion were surrendered to a shelter in Texas, where she gave birth to two sweet pups while waiting for her chance at a better life. She traveled to Minnesota with her puppies, raised them in a loving foster home, and watched them find their forever families. Now it’s Tinsley’s turn to find the home she so deserves. Why Tinsley is Perfect for YouTinsley is a sweet, gentle, and playful dog who thrives in a home where love, patience, and adventure are in abundance. She’s looking for a family that will cherish her, help her continue to build her confidence, and keep her safe while satisfying her curious spirit. When Kota first arrived, he was battling a tough case of mange and had severely inflamed skin. But with lots of soothing baths, some adorable pajamas, and an abundance of love, this determined boy's hair is growing back beautifully, and he's looking better every day! Kota is now a happy, healthy dog who's full of life and love. He's incredibly playful and affectionate, always ready to share his joy with those around him. Whether he's playing or snuggling, he's sure to bring a smile to your face. He's doing wonderfully in his kennel and making great progress with potty training. While he occasionally has an accident indoors, it's only when his foster isn't quick enough to notice he needs to go out. Kota is on the road to becoming the perfect companion, and he's ready to find his forever home where he can continue to thrive and share his boundless love.   All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  Meet Lucy, the ultimate adventure companion! This vibrant, high-energy girl is on the lookout for an equally active family to share her boundless zest for life. Lucy’s motto? GO, GO, GO! From sunup to sundown, she’s ready to play, explore, and keep you entertained with her goofy antics and infectious enthusiasm. Lucy thrives in an environment where she can channel her energy into fun activities, whether it's playing fetch until she’s happily tuckered out, tackling puzzle feeders, or savoring layered frozen treats. She’s incredibly playful and would love a canine friend who can match her energy and enjoy a spirited game of rough-and-tumble. Her ideal human is someone who loves the outdoors and has a knack for creative ways to keep her mind and body engaged. While Lucy is working on her impulse control and calming skills, she’s already making great progress. She’s food-motivated and eager to learn, so with consistent training and positive reinforcement, she’ll absolutely shine. She’s already mastered crate training, sleeps soundly through the night, and has never had an accident in the house—a true testament to her potential. Lucy does have a strong prey drive and loves to chase squirrels, so leash walking is still a work in progress. She’ll need an active family committed to daily exercise, outdoor playtime, and helping her refine her leash manners. She would do best in a home with older kids or no children, as her enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for the little ones. A canine buddy her size or larger would be a bonus, but she can also thrive as the star of the show. Lucy’s bright gold eyes light up when she’s playing, chewing on her favorite bones, or snuggling with her people after a full day of fun. She’s goofy, smart, and incredibly loving with both dogs and humans. With her playful nature and love for treats, the sky’s the limit when it comes to training her into the best version of herself. If you’re an experienced dog owner with a love for adventure and the patience to help Lucy channel her energy, she’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless laughs, and a lifetime of love. Are you ready to meet your new partner-in-play? Lucy is waiting! Story
Hi! I'm Cope! I'm from Arkansas. I'm a friendly lab mix puppy. I am a typical puppy who loves to play and I walk great on a leash. I get along well with everyone I meet. I am doing super fantastic with my house training. I love sleeping with my human in bed at night! I'm very well behaved and don't get into anything I'm not supposed to. I love other dogs, I just need a small amount of time to get to know you because I can be a little shy. UPDATE from the foster: Cope is going to need a lot of time, love and patience to come out of his shell. He'd do well with a person who is mostly home and/or a home with another dog companion. He loves being outside (never wants to come in) so a person who loves being outside and/or who lives in the country or suburb would be awesome for him. I took him on a walk in downtown Wayzata once and he was so wary of cars and people. He just couldn't relax with everything going on around him. I truly believe he needs companionship to help ease his anxiety and fears. If his human is not home most of the day, he would benefit from the presence of another canine that can show him how to be a dog. He trusts me but not like my resident dog trusts me. Example: I can get close to Cope and give him kisses, he follows me all day and sleeps at my feet while I work at the computer. If left alone, I can picture him curled up somewhere, waiting for his human to come home while he listens to every crack or noise, wondering if it's good or bad. I don't know Cope's history but I feel he may have been a stray with his brother and maybe had a bad experience with men (he steers clear of my husband and is better around women). I hope you're his special person!

Story
I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org to sign up to foster! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi! I'm from Texas! This animal is currently being tested for a skin condition. From her foster: Fifi was found with her puppies and her boyfriend Snoopy taking care of their puppies on their own together in Texas. All have came to Minnesota to find their own forever families. Fifi has definitely not been treated well by a human and is scared. She is the sweetest and so very gentle deserving dog to find a patient family. Once she gets to know you she trusts you but is still skittish with loud unfamiliar sounds or new people come by her. She will take time to come out of her shell but once she does you will see why rescue/adoption is so worth all the extra time that you spend with her to make her feel secure and loved. She loves dogs and does well with cats. She is scared of a lot of extra movement so I would say she is a no for small children at this time. She is potty trained on a schedule and sleeps all night quietly. She will need a fenced backyard until she is less scared. She loves to run around the yard when she feels confident and lets herself go. She is fine being kenneled or left out. She has done no damage to our home or anything in it. She most likely would do better in a home with another friendly dog but may do just fine. She seems to be more scared of men so if there is a man in the house that relationship will most likely take longer. From the vet team: It was discovered that I have degenerative joint disease likely secondary to hip dysplasia and possible fracture. I received an orthopedic surgery (FHO) and will need a foster/adopter that will assist me with physical therapy after I recover from my surgery.

Hi, my name is Beaker. I am from Arkansa. I'm a very sweet little pup that loves to snuggle and just hang out. I learned how to use a doggy door and am working on potty training. I'm an energetic and lovable boy puppy with a heart full of curiosity! With his fluffy coat, big expressive eyes, and wagging tail, he's always on the lookout for new adventures. I love to nibble on his favorite toys, and greet everyone he meets with excited barks and lots of tail wags. Although I'm small, I have a brave spirit and am constantly exploring my surroundings, sniffing everything I can. After a day of play, I am happiest curling up on a cozy blanket, dozing off with a contented sigh. I'm a sweet, playful pup who brings joy and smiles wherever he goes!

Story
Hi! My name is Stella and I am from Arkansas. I am a beautiful black Lab and weigh about 70 lbs. The shelter people say that I am a big lovable girl with a sweet and playful demeanor. They like to visit with me all of the time because I am so nice and so fun! I got along great with the other dogs at the shelter, but need slow intros in a home. Slow intros mean controlled introductions (walks, through baby gates, etc) for several days before being with other animals freely. I love kids, too!! I do need to only be with older considerate children though, I do not appreciate little ones who want to hug and be in my space. I have not been tested with kitties, but we think I would do best in a cat free home. From her foster: Stella is a sweetheart! She's a wagger and a wiggler. She loves everyone and has made herself happily at home instantly with me. If you're looking for a dog that's already house trained, crate trained and super well socialized, Stella's your gal! Stella is newly on a weight management diet.

Story
My dog Winnie is the best dog ever. He is 8 years old . I want to start off by saying … we were told he has cancer on his leg .. and they wanted to shrink it with chemo and they didn’t think they could get all of it.. it was super expensive so we couldnt do it. He has a lump on his leg but is doing great still. He could make it years more ..no one is really sure ? Financially I had to move to a townhouse and he is too big to be allowed here. I also want someone to give him the best life possible for his last years.. whatever that looks like for him… which I am unable because I have to work so much! He has been the best dog ever and looking for someone to help and take care of him the rest of his life ❤️❤️❤️he loves everyone.. loves snuggling.. and just wants to be by your side ;) This is so hard for Me.. so thanks so much for taking the time to read this ;) ❤️

Story
I’ve had Velma for 2 years now and she is a very sweet dog. She is very scared of new people and new environments so she will need someone that is understanding and patient with her. She is good with other dogs and is anxious around kids. Velma does bark and junp at People who are unknown to her if they hover over someone she cares about or hovers of her and makes eye contact. I unfortunately have to put her up for adoption due to my landlord receiving a complaint that I have too many dogs even though I signed a lease/ application and payed deposits for each dog . He was aware but a neighbor complained. I truly love Velma and this breaks my heart to have to give her up. The price is negotiable. I have been given till Sunday this week to find her a home.

This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Meet Gobbler! (er, Gabby, Gabby fits her much better!) Gabby is a sweet, approximately 6-month-old Lab mix with a heart full of potential. She was rescued as a stray by SPAC, so her past is a bit of a mystery. When she first arrived in her foster home, Gabby was understandably a little shy and guarded. But after just a couple of days, she quickly warmed up to the love and attention she was receiving, and now she enjoys cuddles, pets, and affection. Gabby has made great progress with her training, including both potty training and crate training, and she's been a quick learner! She’s still a typical puppy, meaning she’s a little mouthy, but she’s easily redirected with some guidance. Because she can be vocal in her kennel, she might not be the best fit for a home with shared walls, but she's sure to thrive in a more private, active environment. An active person or family would be the perfect fit for Gabby. She has lots of energy and love to give, and she’s ready to find her forever home where she can continue to grow and be the loyal companion she’s meant to be. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate puppy to join your family, Gabby could be the one! She'd really love to go home for the howlidays this year.  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.
