Meet Tinsley: The Freckle-Faced Adventurer Ready for Her Forever Home! Tinsley is a stunning, one-of-a-kind pup with delicate freckles and beautiful black eyeliner that highlights her soulful eyes. Her personality is just as unique and endearing as her looks, and she’s been waiting patiently for her chance to find a family to call her own. A Social Butterfly in the MakingCurrently living harmoniously with both cats and dogs, Tinsley gets along well with her furry companions. She’s a little shy when meeting new people, but with the help of a confident dog in the home, she blossoms and gains courage. Once she trusts you, Tinsley is a total love bug who will happily snuggle on the couch and soak up belly rubs like she’s known you forever. Outdoor EnthusiastTinsley’s happy place is by the water! She loves spending time at the lake and has recently discovered the joy of retrieving balls. Watching her excitement as she dashes back to shore with her prize is like watching someone win the lottery—pure joy and tail wags! Great with Kids and Adventurous at HeartTinsley thinks kids are awesome, but older, responsible children are the best fit for her since she has a bit of a wanderlust streak. She’ll slip out the door for an unscheduled adventure if given the chance, so a family that enjoys intentional outings and keeps a watchful eye on her would be ideal. Hiking, exploring, and playing fetch are right up her alley! A Journey of ResilienceTinsley’s road to rescue is a testament to her strength and love. She and her canine companion were surrendered to a shelter in Texas, where she gave birth to two sweet pups while waiting for her chance at a better life. She traveled to Minnesota with her puppies, raised them in a loving foster home, and watched them find their forever families. Now it’s Tinsley’s turn to find the home she so deserves. Why Tinsley is Perfect for YouTinsley is a sweet, gentle, and playful dog who thrives in a home where love, patience, and adventure are in abundance. She’s looking for a family that will cherish her, help her continue to build her confidence, and keep her safe while satisfying her curious spirit. After all she’s been through, Tinsley deserves nothing less than the best. Could you be the one to give her the happy ending she’s been waiting for? When Kota first arrived, he was battling a tough case of mange and had severely inflamed skin. But with lots of soothing baths, some adorable pajamas, and an abundance of love, this determined boy's hair is growing back beautifully, and he's looking better every day! Kota is now a happy, healthy dog who's full of life and love. He's incredibly playful and affectionate, always ready to share his joy with those around him. Whether he's playing or snuggling, he's sure to bring a smile to your face. He's doing wonderfully in his kennel and making great progress with potty training. While he occasionally has an accident indoors, it's only when his foster isn't quick enough to notice he needs to go out. Kota is on the road to becoming the perfect companion, and he's ready to find his forever home where he can continue to thrive and share his boundless love.   All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. Lucy is a smart, sweet, and energetic young dog looking for her forever family! With her golden eyes and endless curiosity, she’s sure to capture your heart. One of Lucy’s favorite things in the world is playing fetch—she’s an excellent retriever and will happily play for hours, even tossing the ball or toy back to you or onto a table for another round. This clever girl is still learning how to settle and relax, but with structure, short bursts of attention, and plenty of tasks to keep her engaged, she’s making great progress. Lucy is happiest with an active family who can provide her with exercise and mental stimulation throughout the day. Here’s what makes Lucy special: Playful and Skilled: Lucy’s fetch game is top-tier, and she’s motivated by tennis balls, food, and neck scritches. Loving and Affectionate: She’s a sweetheart who loves to connect with her humans. Trainable and Smart: Lucy knows a few basic commands and is eager to learn more with consistent guidance. Great with Older Kids: While she’s good with younger children, Lucy doesn’t always realize her size and energy, so families with very small children might not be the best fit. Lucy would do best with older kids or adults who can guide her with patience and consistency. She’s ready to shine with a family who understands her need for structure and has the skills to help her continue to grow into her best self. If you’re ready for a loving, goofy companion who’ll keep you on your toes (and steal your heart), Lucy is waiting for YOU! Hi! I'm Skeeter Bug! I'm from Arkansas. From his foster: Introducing Skeeter Bug! Skeeter is a fun loving, adventurous, spunky pup! Skeeter loves running around outside and playing hard! Skeeter loves people and is always your right hand man! He also loves snuggling with you any chance he can! Skeeter is already potty and crate trained! Skeeter currently sleeps in a crate at night and sleeps through the night! He does well with our 2 older resident dogs and he would also do fantastic with a younger dog(s) that would play with him all day long! Skeeter is very curious about our resident cats as well, him and our 5 month old kitten get along great and he loves playing with him. Skeeter has not been exposed to kids of any age that we are aware of but I imagine he would do great with kiddos! Skeeter is EXTREMELY food motivated and loves learning new tricks, we are currently working on sit and lay down and he already knows the command "come! Skeeter also LOVES toys of any kind but especially chew toys! Skeeter is a lovable spunky guy who will make a great playmate and snuggle bug!

Story
Hi! I'm Cope! I'm from Arkansas. I'm a friendly lab mix puppy. I am a typical puppy who loves to play and I walk great on a leash. I get along well with everyone I meet. I am doing super fantastic with my house training. I love sleeping with my human in bed at night! I'm very well behaved and don't get into anything I'm not supposed to. I love other dogs, I just need a small amount of time to get to know you because I can be a little shy. UPDATE from the foster: Cope is going to need a lot of time, love and patience to come out of his shell. He'd do well with a person who is mostly home and/or a home with another dog companion. He loves being outside (never wants to come in) so a person who loves being outside and/or who lives in the country or suburb would be awesome for him. I took him on a walk in downtown Wayzata once and he was so wary of cars and people. He just couldn't relax with everything going on around him. I truly believe he needs companionship to help ease his anxiety and fears. If his human is not home most of the day, he would benefit from the presence of another canine that can show him how to be a dog. He trusts me but not like my resident dog trusts me. Example: I can get close to Cope and give him kisses, he follows me all day and sleeps at my feet while I work at the computer. If left alone, I can picture him curled up somewhere, waiting for his human to come home while he listens to every crack or noise, wondering if it's good or bad. I don't know Cope's history but I feel he may have been a stray with his brother and maybe had a bad experience with men (he steers clear of my husband and is better around women). I hope you're his special person!

Story
I am looking for a foster or forever family! Please email fostersupport@thebondbetween.org to sign up to foster! Select the "Apply for Adoption" if you would like to adopt Hi! I'm from Texas! This animal is currently being tested for a skin condition. From her foster: Fifi was found with her puppies and her boyfriend Snoopy taking care of their puppies on their own together in Texas. All have came to Minnesota to find their own forever families. Fifi has definitely not been treated well by a human and is scared. She is the sweetest and so very gentle deserving dog to find a patient family. Once she gets to know you she trusts you but is still skittish with loud unfamiliar sounds or new people come by her. She will take time to come out of her shell but once she does you will see why rescue/adoption is so worth all the extra time that you spend with her to make her feel secure and loved. She loves dogs and does well with cats. She is scared of a lot of extra movement so I would say she is a no for small children at this time. She is potty trained on a schedule and sleeps all night quietly. She will need a fenced backyard until she is less scared. She loves to run around the yard when she feels confident and lets herself go. She is fine being kenneled or left out. She has done no damage to our home or anything in it. She most likely would do better in a home with another friendly dog but may do just fine. She seems to be more scared of men so if there is a man in the house that relationship will most likely take longer. From the vet team: It was discovered that I have degenerative joint disease likely secondary to hip dysplasia and possible fracture. I received an orthopedic surgery (FHO) and will need a foster/adopter that will assist me with physical therapy after I recover from my surgery.
