Story
We adopted Ruby in April of 2023. A family friend had to get rid of her due to a busy household and work schedule. She was about 6 months old when we adopted her and is now about a year and half. She is a very, very sweet dog and loves people, including children, whom she is quite gentle with. She is half lab, half pit. She loves long walks, chew toys and napping with her pet family. She is a very affectionate dog and loves being petted and cuddling. We had her fixed last May, and she is in excellent health. We want to keep her, but our HOA started to crack down on the number of pets home owners can have. We have another dog that is older and in declining health and we wouldn't feel right trying to find a home for her. We love Ruby but we know that she has many good years ahead for the right family. She is healthy, happy, and loves people of all ages. Truly a great dog for any home.

Story
Magdalena is not just any dog; she is a testament to the resilience and the unwavering spirit of a survivor. This beautiful 5-year-old Labrador mix has faced challenges that would have deterred many, yet her spirit remains unbroken and her heart full of love. Magdalena's journey has been a tough one. Due to a human-caused incident, she tragically lost one of her legs and, heartbreakingly, her puppies as well. Despite these hardships, Magdalena has shown incredible strength and determination to heal both physically and emotionally. The last picture was taken during her early healing stages, you can see her courageously taking each step forward, supported by her indomitable spirit. Today, Magdalena is fully healed and ready to embark on a new chapter of her life - one filled with love, compassion, and the security of a forever home. Her gentle demeanor and loving nature shine through every interaction. Magdalena adores human companionship and has a special affinity for belly rubs and leisurely walks. She is known for her playful antics and happy face. Magdalena's ideal home would be one where she is cherished as a member of the family and the only dog in the home. She does well with dogs her size or bigger but hasn't been around small dogs much and doesn't do well with smaller dogs. She has also never been around cats but given her reaction to small dogs, she probably would do best in a home without cats. She thrives on affection and is eager to return it tenfold. Whether it's snuggling on the couch or exploring the great outdoors, Magdalena is up for any adventure as long as she's by your side. If you're ready to open your heart to a dog who has overcome adversity with grace and love, Magdalena is waiting to meet you. Help us give this incredible survivor the happy ending she deserves - a forever home filled with kindness, warmth, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Could you be the one to give Magdalena the loving home she's been waiting for? Reach out today to meet this special dog and discover the joy she can bring to your life.

Snapshot of Sabrina: Size? Still growing, most likely medium! Activity Level? I have lots of puppy energy! Noise Level? I bark when I play! Good with Dogs? Yes! Good with Cats? Unknown Good with Kids? Yes! Good with Strangers? I can be shy at first but warm up fast Potty Trained? Almost there! Crate Trained? I'm a pro Shedding? Minimal About Sabrina: Hi, my name is Sabrina. I am shy at first, but once I learn the layout of my home and come out of my shell, I love to play! I am teething right now, so chew toys and rope toys are my favorite (and shoes, but my foster parents don't let me chew them)! I get random bursts of energy and then love to lay around with my foster family. I enjoy going outside to sniff and explore my surroundings. I don't shed a lot right now, but that could change as the seasons do and I grow out of my puppy fur. I currently live with a lab puppy and older small dog. The lab and I play great! I leave the smaller dog alone because she doesn't like to play like I do. When I am around cats I am cautious, and don't play with them much but like to watch. I am also great with kids! I am shy when brought to new places or meeting new people. New people often call me "calm and "quiet, but my foster parents know that I can be spunky and occasionally bark when playing with friends. Overall, I am sweet and curious. I am fully crate trained, and go in when told "kennel, but I am still working on getting fully potty trained. My foster home uses bells and I learned those quick, but use them to go outside and hangout more than a signal I have to pee. If brought out often, I don't have accidents. I love food and am very food motivated. I will "sit on command, and especially for a treat! I would do great in a home with another dog my size (medium or large) who can keep up and wrestle with me. I would also love a yard to explore, or somebody that will take me out on walks often. I need somebody active that will be patient with me as I am teething and still learning to potty outside. I can't wait to meet you! Sabrina is fixed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Snapshot of Trixie: Size? I'm still growing but most likely medium. Activity Level? I have lots of puppy energy! Noise Level? Sometimes I whine when you leave but I'm generally very quiet. Good with Dogs? Yes Good with Cats? Yes Good with Kids? Yes Good with Strangers? Yes, I just need a bit of time to warm up. Potty Trained? Almost there! Crate Trained? Yes Shedding? Minimal, but this may change once I grow out of my puppy fur. About Trixie: Hi, my name is Trixie! I am a 6-month-old puppy with a ton of personality already. I am a sweet girl who loves attention and will give back affection. It takes me a bit to feel comfortable around people but once I'm used to them, they will be my forever best friends. I enjoy playing all the time and love going on adventures on a leash. I usually get the zoomies when I'm playing and I am a huge fan of tug-a-war! I'm perfectly fine with both dogs and cats, and people of all sizes! I'm still working on becoming potty-trained and I've improved so much and haven't had many accidents in a while. My crate is my safe spot and I enjoy sleeping in there when it's time for bed. I usually sleep through the night and am very well-crate-trained. Although I dont like when you leave and might whine hoping you come back. I'm a growing girl and I have a normal appetite for a puppy of my size in order for me to play the games I enjoy! My most favorite thing to do is to be chased around with a toy in my mouth as well as tug-a-war with other people or dogs! When it is time to settle down, I can become relaxed and ready to snuggle up on the couch next to someone. The perfect home for me would be a big yard in order for me to run around in. A fenced in yard would also be ideal so I can be off leash and free to roam around! I also wish to have a family with people constantly around so I'm not alone. I still need to work on being fully potty trained, so having people around all the time with patience will allow me to learn and become your best friend! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Abel. He is a wonderful dog who is completely house trained, knows many commands (including play dead!), and has great recall. He loves having a job, especially chasing geese off our grass area and sending them into our pond, then returning to us with a sense of accomplishment. Abel is a protector during deliveries and is sweet with his foster parents. He loves cuddling and is generous with his hugs, burying his head in our laps. He loves to please his humans. Abel plays with his rope like a fiend and loves chasing balls, frisbee, sticks, and toys. Abel does best with proper and slow introductions and people who are secure around dogs. He enjoys playing fetch with a small female lab and gets along well with smaller female dogs, given proper introductions. We are also working on his leash reactivity during walks. While Abel is generally friendly, he has shown some discomfort around children and in certain situations. He is not fond of being poked or picked at so would suggest kids be a no for Abel. With that being said, visits to the vet might be a challenge so patience, kindness and time will be needed to make Abel comfortable. Abel loves being petted, receiving belly rubs, and is fine with baths and brushing. His previous owner mentioned he is okay with having his nails clipped, although I haven't tried that myself. Abel is a great dog who thrives with understanding and patient care.   Abel does take an oral medication twice a day to help prevent seizures.    Abel is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an   adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
