Story
Sadie is a very loving and happy dog. One of her favorite words is "go say hi" as she meets a new person. When she see's her people she wiggles head to toe wagging her tail with joy. She is a great listener and a steady demeanor. She loves to go on walks, car rides, or snuggle. Anywhere her people are is where she wants to be. She can also be on her own for extended periods if her people work away from home. She is potty trained and has a ton of commands she knows. Sadie has moderate engery levels and is generally an easy dog. Her favorite phrases are "Go say hi", "Go for a walk", "Go for a ride" and "Treats!". She loves to get attention and cuddle with her people. Funny quirk is that she is surprisingly a pillow princess, she will find the softest pillowiest spot to make herself comfy. Sadie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Story
Mimi, Sally and Magic are all siblings that were found and an abandoned house in the summer. They are considered bonded but can be separated however, if someone wanted to adopt two of them, I would suggest Mimi and Sally as they are the most bonded. Mimi is very curious and prefers the indoors more than the other two. She’s pretty calm and well behaved in the house, although they are all young dogs and like to get into things occasionally like tearing up dog blankets and towels if they can get their paws on them. They are all very highly motivated and can get pretty excited around mealtime. When they have been to pet's bar, people have commented how calm and well behaved they are however they can get pretty rowdy outside running and playing in the field, very sweet natured with good temperament. I would say they are for the most part house trained. There has been only one accident in the house from the three of them in three months, but they spend a lot of time outdoors. An adapter would need to know that they were definitely may need some close supervision in the house at first. These dogs are being fostered in the south but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Lady is a sweet and affectionate dog who came to us from my fiancés stepmother. She is a high-energy dog who enjoys staying active and especially loves going on walks. Lady does well with other dogs and would thrive in a home where she can get regular exercise and attention. Lady is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands including sit and shake. She is a smart dog who enjoys interacting with her people and learning. Due to her sensitivity to busy environments, Lady would do best in a calm home without children or frequent visitors. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an active dog and who can provide a stable, quieter environment where she can feel comfortable and secure.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Honeysuckle found herself unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  She is good with other dogs, and people, is also good with dog savvy cats. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Hi, my name is Honeysuckle but my foster just calls me Honey, because I am so sweet. I love other dogs; I actually think all dogs are my friends, so you may need to help me around those that aren't interested in being friends. I do require a home with another simlar sized, playful, confident dog to help with all the new things and who will share their toys, bones, etc with me. I love playing tug and wrestling with other dogs. I also enjoy chasing them when thepy chase a ball or have a toy so I can get it from them so they chase me. I have lived with cats and I did ok with them, I am just not sure why they didn't want to play with me? I may be a tad too much for some, so they need to be very dog savvy. I am newer to MN but I enjoy frolicking & rutting around in the snow. The ice I didn't enjoy, my legs went everywhere but underneath me and I didn't understand what was happening. I don't mind the cold, even though I am a Texas girl, I just pretend it's warm out. Rain, that doesn't bother me. Thunder, well that is some scarey stuff.  I love the outdoors, especially since it has warmed up some. I will need a fenced yard as I enjoy running, I am very fast and I have a good amount of energy; I also enjoy sunbathing outdoors & part of the neighborhood watch committee. I am not a candidate for ecollars/invisible fence so I do require a physical fence. I love children and take treats very gently so I don't scare them when I am outside of the home.   I do however get super excited when kids come into the home, but I do settle down eventually. My foster borrows the neighbor kids to help me work on this, but I still need some more work to help me not play like an oversized puppy with them.  I don't understand why I can't wrestle with them, I watch them do it in their yard playing something they call, football?I have been around a crawling infant and they are great, I enjoy cleaning their face and hands. I can carry on a conversation with them when they squeel and giggle, I'm not sure what they are saying, but my foster says it's fun to watch.   I can be mouthy, especially when I am excited, but sometimes when I want your attention I will use that to gain it.  Did I mention that I LOVE belly rubs? I can be unsure when new people come into the home and and will bark at them.  If they give me some treats, a few minutes to observe them and the other dog(s) are ok with them, I will become friends with them too.  I just want to protect my home and humans.  With some more practice I am sure I will get better with this too. I have been working so hard and those people I now know, I settle down very quickly for, but I still put on a brief show at times. I am a professional chewer. Beware of stuffies as I may swallow small chunks that I chew off & the squeakers;  so my foster only allows with supervision. I enjoy pigs ears, collagen chews, yak chews, cheek rolls, retriever rolls and dogwood type chews to keep me occupied. I will also help you mulch any sticks in your yard.  My supervisory skills are top notch, especially when you are in the bathroom.  I will make sure you are fully protected from any monsters that may lurk in there while you use it and will lay down outside the door if I cannot get in to keep a watchful eye.  I sleep on a dog bed in my foster's room all night long and supervise from a dog bed or lay at her feet when she works from home. I enjoy a good snuggle when humans are on the couch, and I like to sneak on the bed for a snuggle when it's allowed. I know I would LOVE to sleep in a bed with my humans. When I am ready to get up for the day, I start with some small groans to gently wake you up should you sleep in longer than I feel you should.  I am fully potty trained.  I go hang out by the door and hope you will see me to let me outside but if I really need to go I will tap on the window. I also know how to use a doggy door if you have one, they sure are handy.   I am usually fairly quiet when in my kennel.  I can get vocally excited when playing with other dogs, my foster says I purr when I play. I do bark when outside at new things and some of the neighbor dogs, but once I know things are safe and secure, I am good to go and mind my own business. I heard them say that I redirect well.  I am crate trained, I go right in when told, but don't forget to pay me for doing a good job. I am ok chewing my high value treats in there or eating my dinner if necessary due to other animals in the home. But don't worry,  I don't resource guard anything when outside of the kennel either. My foster gives these things in the kennel just to make sure I can handle any senario I may encounter and don't become too spoiled only being given outside of the crate.   I have learned that car rides are fun and I hop right up into the back seat floor of the van onto the dog bed and stay there quietly for the trip.  I have also learned that leashes aren't a bad thing; I am told I walk well on leash. They both usually mean something fun is going to happen or at minimum I will get some treats. I am cautious in new situations, but if you're confident, I will be too. Just give me a minute to process what is going on. I may jump at a new sound but will also check it out if I am able. . I have been through a basic obedience class and some agility classes, I am getting very brave at trying new things. I have a good start for my new home to set us both up for success.  I have been enjoying agility classes more and more each time I go. Please keep up on my training outside the home as I have learned so many new things with the classes to help me overcome my fears and timidness. Working on this only at home isn't enough for me. My foster or the rescue can suggest some places to bring me to for keeping up with what I have made progress on. It will also help me bond with you and keep me up on socializing. I can't promise that I won't make you start over with some of my skills, but I do have them with my current foster and some are scarey for me to try in new places or with lots of distractions yet, but I will get there.  I am not picky about my treats or food.  Please use caution when giving beef though, I may be sensitive to it, we aren't sure yet but the humans are watching me and slowly trying it to see how I tolerate it, but if I get a lot I seem to not feel as well. I do also like coconut oil, peanut butter, green beans, hot dogs, cheese, bannanas, carrots, ice cubes, cucumbers, blueberries, pineapple, red peppers and pumpkin so far. I do not like red delicious apples; what a silly name for something that does not match what it's called.  I enjoy being brushed. I don't mind my feet or backside being cleaned up or even my nails being trimmed but I am NOT a fan of bathtime. I can't be that perfect, right? You will need patience as I adjust. I may just hang out to observe everything for a while, but keep me out where I can see/hear everything safely. I do want to be part of the happenings, but I do need a space to feel secure when things are just too much. I tend to shutdown when I am scared and unsure.  My foster tells me I am a silly girl and near perfect. Do I sound like a perfect fit for you? If so, please apply for consideration on the rescue's website https://mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org/      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 6, 2026, 10:51 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    DOB: 02/01/2020 Requires another dog in home: Yes, another well-balanced dog is required Okay with dogs of all sizes: Yes Okay with cats: Unknown Okay with children under 12 years old: No Weight: 10 pounds Requires a fenced yard:  Yes, required Note: dogs must always be leashed whenever outside of a contained area. Invisible/ underground fencing is not recommended for most rescue dogs. Rua requires another dog in her home. Rua is a super sweet dog who absolutely loves her people. She wants desperately to be a confident dog, and she is a confident dog with her people. She is shy with anyone new and does best with a quiet household, preferably a single female or couple that she can give her trust and her heart to. She is fine with children, but young ones tend to scare her with fast movements. Rua is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. She's also capable of jumping over gates with a beautiful graceful leap. She should have another confident dog in her home to learn from and she loves to play with other dogs as well as toys. She needs a fenced yard, minimum of 4ft as well because she can get spoked easily. She is such a sweet girl who spent her short life having puppies and now she's ready to have a home and love of her own. If you'd like to met Rua to see how special she is, please fill out an application for her. If you're looking for a best friend and loyal companion, she's definitely your girl. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.
