I'm super friendly and nothing makes me happier than playing games with kids. I absolutely love kids, but my foster mom said they should be older kids since I get excited and might tend to knock them over when I'm excited. I'm always ready for a fun adventure or a cozy cuddle. I'm smart too, so teaching me new things will be a breeze! If you're looking for a loyal friend who will bring joy and laughter into your home, I'm the perfect match. Buckles is working on kennel training She is pretty much house trained She is good with other dogs She doesn’t mind cats She is scared of my chickens and ducks She knows sit. She walks great on a leash and recalls well off leash to her name. We are working on lay down, off, stay, place and touch. She understand the concept but has a very short concentration period so we are only doing 5 minutes of training a few times a day and incorporating a lot of toy and tug action to keep her attention. She loves fetch and will retrieve the ball and return it. She’s interested in the water but hasn’t made the jump into the pond. She is a great puppy with a huge personality that loves the world and exploring all it has to offer! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. Hi! I’m Emma — and I’m looking for my forever home Before we go any further, there’s something important (and pretty cool) you should know about me: I’m deaf! Don’t worry though — it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’ve already started learning hand signals in my foster home, and I’m a very smart girl who works hard for treats. Training time = treat time = my favorite time. I’m still young and full of joy, curiosity, and energy. I love staying busy and have discovered that toys are one of life’s greatest gifts — especially balls. Even better if they’re treat balls. Playing and snacking at the same time? Yes please. I also adore car rides and am a total passenger princess. Bonus points if those rides include pup cups on your morning coffee run… just sayin’. I’m potty trained once I learn my routine, and I’ve made huge progress with crate training. Give me something fun to chew on, like a Kong, and I’ll happily run into my crate, settle in, and snooze away. Easy peasy. Because I’m deaf, I don’t always realize how loud my bark is, so I’d do best in a home without shared walls. I would love a playful dog companion around my size — I’m all about rough-and-tumble play and having a buddy who can keep up with me. Cats (and very small or senior dogs) probably wouldn’t appreciate my enthusiasm, and I’m still learning my manners, so a home without small children would be best for everyone. My foster family says I keep them laughing every single day — and honestly, they’re not wrong. I’m goofy, expressive, and full of personality. At bedtime, I turn into a total sweetheart: I’ll sleep peacefully at your feet or snuggle under the blankets beside you if you let me. I give the best kisses and have the softest, sweetest soul. My dream home is with someone who will give me structure, patience, continued training, and lots of love. Lovely Lizzy! This girl is the sweetest! Doing great in her foster home, she is loving being a part of a family but would love to find her own special home! She would do best with another pup and a fenced in yard so she can run freely and explore and play! All is new to her so she can be a little shy to begin with but once she knows she can trust you - she wants to be around you! She is really a great pup who deserves her happily forever after! Her story: Rescued from a mall parking lot with her siblings and mother, our rescue partner was able to save this entire loving family. Their courageous mom was extremely dehydrated and having trouble standing, they needed immediate help. They are all Happy and playful Labrador mixed puppies, they are fully vetted, sterilized and ready to find their family. Lizzy is settling into her foster home and is learning the ropes of being out of a shelter ... she loves to play and explore, she is somewhat shy as everything is new to her... she is enjoying her toys and also loves snuggle time! We would love for her to find a home for the holidays!

Such a good girl! Marylyn is a sweet and gentle little lady. Rescued with her mom and siblings by the lake just above our partner rescue. The entire family was severely emaciated and literally starving to death with no food options to sustain them. They are all truly amazingly sweet, easygoing and friendly. We're so very excited to finally see Marilyn and her siblings up for adoption and ready to find their homes. Marilyn is still on the island and we would love to get her to MN but we are in need of a foster for her!

Our partner rescue rescued Stevie and his mom and siblings, who were living next to a lake just down from the rescue in the mountains. They were emaciated and would not have lasted much longer with no food source around. Thrown away and clearly neglected, they have all blossomed into amazing rescues who are fully recovered and ready to finally find their forever homes. Known more for being easygoing and friendly, we are overjoyed that they are one step closer to finding forever families. Stevie is a wonderful boy that we know will give back all the love he receives and more. Just look at that adorable face - waiting for his second chance... Stevie is still on the island and we would love to get him to MN but we need a foster!
