Story
Location: Ivanhoe, MN Hello everyone, meet CLYDE! This handsome guy is the perfect gentleman! He is potty trained and kennel trained. He has only spent time in a large 10 x 10 kennel, so I don’t know he would be in a smaller kennel. He loves his toys and can usually be found chewing his benebone. He seems to like all the dogs he meets, however, he doesn’t like to share his toys. Although he loves his doggie friends, he really likes to spend time with his people. Running and retrieving the ball in a fenced yard is ideal. He does get the zoomies! He walks great on a leash and can hardly contain himself when he knows it’s time to go! He does get very excited if he sees others on his walk, so we are working on manners. He has seen cats and is a bit apprehensive at first, but then is curious about what they do. He gets along with the resident cat. In his previous home he had trouble with younger kids, so respectful kids 12 and up is best for him. He has had some training. He knows sit, down, off, stay (although that one is tough to do at times!). He will gladly trade kisses for butt scratches any chance he gets. Clyde is an all around great guy! If you want an exercise buddy and couch cuddler he is your man. Please meet this guy, you will not be disappointed. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Apple Valley, MN Meet Onyx! 🖤 Onyx is a sweet, smart, and loyal pup who’s eager to please and full of love! He’s fully house trained and kennel trained, and he knows several commands — sit, lay, shake, and sometimes stay. He’s working hard on his manners, especially not jumping up when he’s excited, and he’s making great progress. Onyx loves being close to his people and will happily hop into your lap for cuddles. He’s especially bonded with the girls in his foster home and is learning to feel more comfortable around men — he’s already built a positive relationship with the adult male in the house, and they now play and even snuggle together! He enjoys walks and is doing well with leash training, especially since he’s so food-motivated. Sometimes he still gets a little excited when he spots another dog or a squirrel, but he’s improving every day. Onyx is good with kids, cats, and dogs. He does resource guard his food and bones, but he manages this well by eating in his kennel — he knows the routine and goes right in when it’s mealtime. He loves tug-of-war, the occasional game of fetch, and being part of family life. With continued guidance and love, Onyx will make a devoted, affectionate companion for a lucky family! 🐾 ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: New Brighton, MN Buddy/Shawn - (he answers to Buddy. He never answered to Shawn.) is appropriately playful and a big lover of snuggles. Buddy is fully house trained and does not keep you up at night. He waits until you wake up and turn on the light to come and say good morning. He is good with our small 9 yr old pup and hasn't tried to escape since he got got here. Buddy will get into the car when prompted with food and is in a very big hurry to get out when you do. Buddy's favorite thing to do is slide down the hill in the cool grass on his tummy and roll over on his back. He howls when he is anxious and for fire trucks, but it is a low bowl that isn't loud. Buddy can be kiddish with strangers but warms up easily and is quite the big baby. He has never nipped or been aggressive to any of us and doesn't bark at folks walking by. I would make sure that all gates and fence lines are secure and he cannot crawl under. Especially until he knows you love him and won't hurt him. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hi! I'm Buckles, a playful pup who loves exploring and learning new tricks. I'm super friendly and nothing makes me happier than playing games with kids. I absolutely love kids, but my foster mom said they should be older kids since I get excited and might tend to knock them over when I'm excited.  I'm always ready for a fun adventure or a cozy cuddle. I'm smart too, so teaching me new things will be a breeze! If you're looking for a loyal friend who will bring joy and laughter into your home, I'm the perfect match. Let's make wonderful memories together! Buckles is working on kennel training She is pretty much house trained She is good with other dogs She doesn’t mind cats  She is scared of my chickens and ducks She knows sit.  She walks great on a leash and recalls well off leash to her name.  We are working on lay down, off, stay, place and touch. She understand the concept but has a very short concentration period so we are only doing 5 minutes of training a few times a day and incorporating a lot of toy and tug action to keep her attention.  She loves fetch and will retrieve the ball and return it.  She’s interested in the water but hasn’t made the jump into the pond.  She is a great puppy with a huge personality that loves the world and exploring all it has to offer!  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. Story
Hi! I’m Emma — and I’m looking for my forever home Before we go any further, there’s something important (and pretty cool) you should know about me: I’m deaf! Don’t worry though — it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’ve already started learning hand signals in my foster home, and I’m a very smart girl who works hard for treats. Training time = treat time = my favorite time. I’m still young and full of joy, curiosity, and energy. I love staying busy and have discovered that toys are one of life’s greatest gifts — especially balls. Even better if they’re treat balls. Playing and snacking at the same time? Yes please. I also adore car rides and am a total passenger princess. Bonus points if those rides include pup cups on your morning coffee run… just sayin’. I’m potty trained once I learn my routine, and I’ve made huge progress with crate training. Give me something fun to chew on, like a Kong, and I’ll happily run into my crate, settle in, and snooze away. Easy peasy. Because I’m deaf, I don’t always realize how loud my bark is, so I’d do best in a home without shared walls. I would love a playful dog companion around my size — I’m all about rough-and-tumble play and having a buddy who can keep up with me. Cats (and very small or senior dogs) probably wouldn’t appreciate my enthusiasm, and I’m still learning my manners, so a home without small children would be best for everyone. My foster family says I keep them laughing every single day — and honestly, they’re not wrong. I’m goofy, expressive, and full of personality. At bedtime, I turn into a total sweetheart: I’ll sleep peacefully at your feet or snuggle under the blankets beside you if you let me. I give the best kisses and have the softest, sweetest soul. My dream home is with someone who will give me structure, patience, continued training, and lots of love. In return, I promise endless laughs, loyal companionship, and a whole heart ready to be yours. Could that be you? Story
Hi, my name is Saffron and I'm from Northern Minnesota. From his foster: Saffron is a sweet, cuddly boy with an incredibly loving nature. He adores being close to his people and loves to curl up in a lap and sleep after running around. He’s a smart pup who’s curious, attentive, and picking up on daily routines. He has a very playful, spirited personality that adds to his charm. When playtime winds down, Saffron settles nicely and enjoys calm, cozy moments. At night, Saffron sleeps in a crate attached to a larger pen and does a great job settling in and sleeping most of the night. He’s been doing well with a puppy setup that includes pee pads and would continue to thrive with consistency and gentle guidance as he grows. He is also getting good at whining by the door when he has to go potty.
