Story
Location: Farmington, MN Hi, my name is King and I'm the best good boy! I'm still a puppy at just 9 months old, but I'm already potty trained, crate trained, and walk well on a leash. I have such a sweet and fun personality! I'm very active and I like to run and play outside... but what I LOVE MOST is to fetch! If you throw it for me, I will go get it over and over! I have great recall for such a young dog! I'm a very smart boy and quick to learn. I just need someone to spend time with me and to love me like you mean it. I will cuddle with you in bed if you let me, but I'm also very good about hanging out in my crate. My fosters say with a little more training on puppy manners I will be the perfect dog! Is there an active lab lover out there who will be my forever best friend? ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Lil Johnny is a wonderful little puppy! He is working on potty training, but really any accident he has in the house is right in front of the door to go outside. He knows where he needs to go, but we are just too late in getting him out. He is great in his kennel and loves to sleep and cuddle in bed at night! He is kenneled while his foster parents work during the day and keeps his kennel clean. He loves to play with the other pups in the house and has been around cats, but really doesn't pay any attention to them. He does know sit, but still working on other commands. He has the cutest, funny ears- one seems like it is broken . When he is excited, his entire body wags! He loves to play with toys and hard chew bones. Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Ambrosia is an adorable girl with a very sweet and gentle personality. Her face markings are so cute, it looks like she has kool-aid marks around her mouth and eye liner on her beautiful brown eyes. She loves to play with her foster brother and resident fur siblings. As far as toys, she likes her squeaky furry toys and items to chew such as Himalayan chews. She's a medium energy girl who runs and plays but also enjoys snuggle time. She has a calm personality so would think she'd be good with children of all ages. Ambrosia still has some accidents in the house but is working hard to make it outside all the time. Her leash training is a work in progress. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Candace wants what every dog wants: a safe and comfortable home where she can be loved and well-fed. Candace has come a long way since coming to Rescue Network. When she arrived, she had 6 puppies, a severe skin infection, 2 infected teeth, a growth on her head, and was severely underweight. Her skin has now cleared up, she has put on 25+ pounds, had 2 teeth removed, and 2 masses removed. Throughout her medical trials, she has continued to be a happy, friendly dog, who is done raising her puppies and looking to be a young excited lady living life to the fullest. She is a brilliant girl who is eager to learn more of her basic manners and will work hard when rewarded with a tasty treat. She can sit, does well on a leash, knows gentle, and is good with getting baths. Candace is a happy-go-lucky girl who loves playing with her toys independently and with her foster family. She is house-trained and kennel-trained. She does prefer her dog bed to staying in the kennel. When she gets bored she can chew up items, which happened when she was in isolation for her skin infection. Candace's foster home currently has cats; she does well with some and is curious about others. Candace could live with cats that is not bothered by dogs. She has met other dogs; however, tends to resource guard with food and treats so would do best as an only dog. Candace's forever home would have a fenced yard so she could run and chase her balls. She would love an active family that would take her on walks and other outings. She will need a family that continues to work on her training and resource guarding. Candace is also looking for a family that will look beyond her breed and know she has nothing but love and cuddles to give. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Moke is affectionate and seeks attention. Good in his kennel and potty training, on a schedule, is going great! Loves toys, bones, and other dogs. He's smart and learning fast. Story
Location: Parker, SD Everyone looks at the cute puppies, but we hope you will look at this girl! This girl has wormed her way into our hearts, and we think you will fall in love too. The rescue has her named as Cheyenne, but oddly she responded to "Mable" so maybe that is the name she has chosen. We do not know much about her past, but we know she is smart and learns quickly. This girl LOVES to have some serious playtime, and is high energy. She does well with other dogs (slow intro please, as she likes to be the boss). After introductions, she regularly plays loose in a fenced yard with 3 to 4 other dogs and interacts appropriately. Working on walking on leash, does pull a little but improving. Rides GREAT in a car/truck. Enjoys chasing balls, and often brings them back to you as well. (Have a spare!) Rests quietly in her kennel, but does bark as we let our other dogs in/out. Shows some resource guarding with favorite toys, but more on the line of wanting ALL the toys (no bark or growl etc, just wants all toys when there are other dogs). She is learning "sit" and "kennel" (use a high value treat to reward going to kennel). She will need some patience as she runs and jumps on /off furniture in joyful celebration when she is loose in the house, and needs to learn "place" and to have "Rest Time" Needs a home with no young children. She did not get the memo about cats being friends, not food, and needs a home with no cats please! Currently fostered near Sioux Falls, we can arrange meet and greets. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Rosa is a sweet and loving dog who I think prefers the quiet but can also handle the chaos of children and other animals. I got her from a shelter in AZ when she was about 6 months old and she is now 8. Rosa likes walks in nature rather than neighborhoods as she can be overstimulated easily but she'll enjoy it nevertheless. She gets along with cats, children, and small dogs. I think because of her anxiety she becomes overstimulated fast and her excitement to play with other medium/ big dogs may turn into aggression once contact is made. I think with proper training or behavioral help she can overcome that. She just recently developed a little arthritis in her back hips but her vet said with exercise and maybe a little pain meds to help it along she can recover very well. She can sometimes bark a big game to throw you off but she would honestly not hurt a fly. Overall Rosa is a pretty laidback and loving dog that just enjoys being around her human all the time.

Story
Tinsley is a beautiful pup with freckles and beautiful black eyeliner around her eyes. She currently lives with cats and dogs. Tinsley can be slow to warm up to new people and would benefit from a confident dog in the home to help her build confidence. Once she knows you, Tinsley will snuggle on the couch with you, seeking belly rubs like she’s been there her whole life! Tinsley loves the lake, and has slowly learned to retrieve a ball in it. She get so excited when she actually gets it runs for shore like she won the lottery! She thinks kids are cool, but older kids would be safer because Tinsley will slip right out the door if you are not careful; she really loves adventures and thinks she can leave to go exploring whenever she wants. A family that takes her on intentional adventures may be a great fit and help reduce some of her wanderlust… A little back story on how she came to rescue- She and her female canine companion were surrended to a sheter in TX. We don;t know the why, but Tinsly was pregant. She waited long enough in the shelter waiting for a home, that she gave birth to her two male pups. She came to MN a week later with them and raised them in a foster home. They have since been adopted. Now its her turn! ##1749383##

Story
Meet Phelps, affectionately known as Kota, a resilient pup who has come a long way in his foster journey. When Kota first arrived, he was battling a tough case of mange and had severely inflamed skin. But with lots of soothing baths, some adorable pajamas, and an abundance of love, this determined boy's hair is growing back beautifully, and he's looking better every day! Kota is now a happy, healthy dog who's full of life and love. He's incredibly playful and affectionate, always ready to share his joy with those around him. Whether he's playing or snuggling, he's sure to bring a smile to your face. He's doing wonderfully in his kennel and making great progress with potty training. While he occasionally has an accident indoors, it's only when his foster isn't quick enough to notice he needs to go out. Kota is on the road to becoming the perfect companion, and he's ready to find his forever home where he can continue to thrive and share his boundless love.   If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Have you been looking for that diamond in the rough who has been polished to a flawed perfection in foster care?! Look no further because Cheeto is your man! Cheeto is a 67-ish pound, approximately 1-1/2 year old hound mix who had a rough start in life.  He has been trying very hard learning how to be the goodest dog while in foster care. He is very food motivated and he loves to learn & please.  He is 100% house trained and kennel trained. He is kenneled for a full work day right now and does great.  Cheeto thrives on routines, consistency, love, and positive reinforcement. He loves his walks on a gentle leader and really enjoys zoomies in the backyard. Cheeto has a lot of emotions and is learning how to properly express them. Because of this, he sometimes takes a little longer when he meets new dogs. He loves being part of a pack but it will likely some extra take time, patience & understanding when introducing him. He would also thrive as an only doggo, because he would then be the center of your attention. Speaking of attention, his favorite spot in the whole world is on your lap cuddling. He crawls right up onto your lap and into your heart. He also spends the night curled up next to me in bed, the closer the better. He sleeps through the night and wakes up with kisses to the alarm. He would do best in a home without cats. He loves to chase them. If you have a dog-savvy cat who won't run away and will give him a good swat, he will respect that. Cheeto has become the perfectly- imperfect dog looking for his forever home. If you'd like to learn more, please reach out! Interested in adopting? The first couple of years of my life weren’t great and I’m learning to trust people again. I came up with my 6 puppies to help raise them until they could find their forever homes. Now it’s my turn. I love my foster family and their dogs and cats, but it does take me a couple of days to open up to new people. I have shown no aggression but am learning to not be so fearful on a leash and making progress. I start my long walking adventures a little fearful, but after a bit I show you how confident I am and just taking it all in. Once I open up, I want to be right next to you and cuddle. I do love to play with toys and other dogs and you’ll see my goofiness come out. I’m pretty quiet in my home and rarely bark. I would need a quieter home that has patient adults who are willing to let me open up at my own pace and work with me on gaining my confidence. It would also be best to have another dog friend in my home. I promise to give you endless snuggles and kisses. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Milo is a sweet young mixed-breed dog, all the way from Tijuana! He just arrived in rescue and is being fostered with a high energy female dog. They are doing great together! Milo has a little bit of timidity or defensive fears still (as he adjusts this is normal) but he loves men for sure, and women and older kids. He is only about 10 mos old so still growing and learning. He did chase/nip at the heels of a 10 year old child, when he first got here and was kind of jumpy and mouthy at times, but he is doing really well in his foster now with another female dog to play with.  Milo will become what one puts into him, because he is young and impressionable, and teachable.
