Location: Sioux Falls, SD Lil Johnny has spent his first year in rescue and is wondering if he will ever find his forever home. Johnny is potty trained, kennel trained, neutered, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. He is great with dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to cuddle with you at night- often times with his head right next to yours on the pillow! Johnny will make a loyal companion and would love some kiddos to grow up with. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: Big Lake, MN Gunsmoke (Moke aka Mokey) He had been shot and has a limp. This might not ever go away fully, but it has gotten better since he's been here. It does not slow him down!! Moke is affectionate and seeks attention. Good in his kennel and potty training, on a schedule, is going great! Loves toys, bones, and other dogs. He's smart and learning fast. Mokey is treat and love motivated. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: St Francis, MN Hello! My name is Oliver :) I was rescued from wandering around a trash site on my own. I am a very sweet boy once I get comfortable around you. I love all of my resident siblings of all shapes and sizes, even the cats. Sometimes I'll chase them but if you tell me you "leave it" I generally move on and play with a toy or my resident dogs. I love to play, especially rough housing with the resident dogs but I'm also not opposed to lounging around and snoozing during the day. I will sometimes whine because I'm not sure what I should be doing if my foster moms are up and about or the resident dogs are sleeping but eventually I'll calm down and either play with toys by myself. I love to chew on stuff so I have lots of toys and I especially love bones. I am potty trained as long as I'm let out on a regular schedule or my foster moms pick up on my queues that I need to go out. At first I was pretty hesitant about my kennel but now I do very well overnight or when my foster moms are gone. I can be a bit shy around new people but I warm up pretty quickly. Overall I'm pretty low maintenance for a puppy but I think I would do best in a house with another dog or two as I lean on the resident dogs for comfort and guidance. My foster moms tell me I'm pretty cute and a little dopey but they say they love me so much already. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Buffalo, MN Noel came from a reservation so not much is known about her history other than assuming she was hit by a car which resulted in her needing to get her leg amputated. She is the sweetest, most playful girl that doesn't let her past get to her. She is great with little human kids, dogs, and cats. She is kennel trained and never had an accident in the house! She may be a little shy at first but once she warms up, she loves to be pet and get your attention. She is happy to join you on the couch or the dog bed. She's a great girl that deserves to be happy after what she has been through! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Cottage Grove, MN Hi! I’m Maiya and you’ve heard of puppies stealing and chewing socks, right?! Well you haven’t really lived until you’ve had your socks stolen with your toes still in them! (insert diabolical giggle here) My siblings and I got to leave the freezing cold outside and take a car ride to the warm homes of our foster families just in time to start the new year out right. New year, new me, right?! We’ve been learning how to live inside and potty outside. I’ve found I love to sleep on the big fluffy bed on the floor with the big dogs at my foster’s house. I had to get used to my crate at this new house, but now I think it’s a fine place to have my dinner, sleep at night and hang out when foster mom has to go to work. I also love to snuggle in the pillows on my foster mom’s bed! She thinks I’m so funny that when I jump into bed with her I head dive right into the pillows and root around to find a comfy spot. Foster mom says I’m just a big furry noodle with the way we slip and flop running around the house. She also laughs at me when I try to steal her slippers and socks while she’s still wearing them. In my defense, they’re all fuzzy just like my toys! I live with one of my sisters, two big dogs, two teenagers, and sometimes two elementary age kids come over - they are fun! Since I’m still essentially a toddler, I’d probably be better with a little bit older kids who can manage the reactions to my playful nibbles and jumping while I’m learning how to be a model citizen. My new foster sister (the big girl German shepherd who looks a lot like my mom did) taught me that our foster mom pays the ice tax and I can collect too! Every time she goes in the freezer, if we come running we get ice cubes! At first the leash was scary, but I’m getting the hang of it because going on adventures are really fun! Riding in the car is still kind of scary, so I just lay down and wait it out until we get to the fun places we’re going to. My sister and I like to entertain our foster humans with our reenactments of WWE RAW. We typically have matinee and an evening show, and then like to crash out in the laps or the couch with our adoring fans. I like to play fetch and learning new tricks to earn treats. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). I keep my kennel clean and don’t really have accidents inside when I’m kept on my schedule. Foster mom and I watched the wolves on National Geographic and they were SO cool I just to answer their howls. Mom laughed and laughed at me. I think the TV is really interesting when other animals are on it. I live with one of my sisters, two big dogs, two teenagers, and some times two elementary age kids come over - they are fun! Meet Tinsley: The Freckle-Faced Adventurer Ready for Her Forever Home! Tinsley is a stunning, one-of-a-kind pup with delicate freckles and beautiful black eyeliner that highlights her soulful eyes. Her personality is just as unique and endearing as her looks, and she’s been waiting patiently for her chance to find a family to call her own. A Social Butterfly in the MakingCurrently living harmoniously with both cats and dogs, Tinsley gets along well with her furry companions. She’s a little shy when meeting new people, but with the help of a confident dog in the home, she blossoms and gains courage. She loves spending time at the lake and has recently discovered the joy of retrieving balls. Watching her excitement as she dashes back to shore with her prize is like watching someone win the lottery—pure joy and tail wags! She’ll slip out the door for an unscheduled adventure if given the chance, so a family that enjoys intentional outings and keeps a watchful eye on her would be ideal. Hiking, exploring, and playing fetch are right up her alley! A Journey of ResilienceTinsley’s road to rescue is a testament to her strength and love. She and her canine companion were surrendered to a shelter in Texas, where she gave birth to two sweet pups while waiting for her chance at a better life. She traveled to Minnesota with her puppies, raised them in a loving foster home, and watched them find their forever families. Now it’s Tinsley’s turn to find the home she so deserves. Why Tinsley is Perfect for YouTinsley is a sweet, gentle, and playful dog who thrives in a home where love, patience, and adventure are in abundance. She’s looking for a family that will cherish her, help her continue to build her confidence, and keep her safe while satisfying her curious spirit. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  Meet Phelps, affectionately known as Kota, a resilient pup who has come a long way in his foster journey. When Kota first arrived, he was battling a tough case of mange and had severely inflamed skin. But with lots of soothing baths, some adorable pajamas, and an abundance of love, this determined boy's hair is growing back beautifully, and he's looking better every day! Kota is now a happy, healthy dog who's full of life and love. He's incredibly playful and affectionate, always ready to share his joy with those around him. Whether he's playing or snuggling, he's sure to bring a smile to your face. He's doing wonderfully in his kennel and making great progress with potty training. While he occasionally has an accident indoors, it's only when his foster isn't quick enough to notice he needs to go out. Kota is on the road to becoming the perfect companion, and he's ready to find his forever home where he can continue to thrive and share his boundless love.   All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##2106390##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Have you been looking for that diamond in the rough who has been polished to a flawed perfection in foster care?! Look no further because Cheeto is your man! Cheeto is a 67-ish pound, approximately 1-1/2 year old hound mix who had a rough start in life.  He has been trying very hard learning how to be the goodest dog while in foster care. He is very food motivated and he loves to learn & please.  He is 100% house trained and kennel trained. He is kenneled for a full work day right now and does great.  Cheeto thrives on routines, consistency, love, and positive reinforcement. He loves his walks on a gentle leader and really enjoys zoomies in the backyard. Cheeto has a lot of emotions and is learning how to properly express them. Because of this, he sometimes takes a little longer when he meets new dogs. He loves being part of a pack but it will likely some extra take time, patience & understanding when introducing him. He would probably do best as an only doggo, even though he has lived with other dogs.  Speaking of attention, his favorite spot in the whole world is on your lap cuddling. He crawls right up onto your lap and into your heart. He also spends the night curled up next to me in bed, the closer the better. He sleeps through the night and wakes up with kisses to the alarm. He would do best in a home without cats. He loves to chase them. If you have a dog-savvy cat who won't run away and will give him a good swat, he will respect that. Cheeto has become the perfectly- imperfect dog looking for his forever home. If you'd like to learn more, please reach out! Interested in fostering and/or adopting?
