6 year old AKC yellow lab. He is great with kids and loves to retrieve/play fetch. Would do well where he has room to run and he would love to have a place to swim. Has been an indoor/outdoor dog so he is housebroken. Looking to re-home due to changes in living arrangement and schedule/limited availability.

Story
She loves to go for walks, very smart, well mannered, loves to cuddle. She loves playing ball and fetch. Like most Labs, she does have some hip problems, but can move around, run, and jump fine with no issues. Does not run off ever, she stays close to the home and to me even off leash. Loves chewing bones and treat. Does not need to be kenneled but she doesn’t mind it. She is protective of food and toys.

Story
Imagine the perfect pairing of personalities, like peanut butter and jelly, or sun and sea. Well, fate has decided to bring you and this handsome boy together. Say hello to Groot, a sturdy yet snuggly adventurer with the perfect blend of energy and relaxation! This handsome boy knows how to turn any day into a great one with his love for water play, car rides, and a good ol' tennis ball chase. When he wants a little extra attention or a treat, he’ll let out an adorable chirpy whine—a sound so unique it’s bound to make you smile every time! Groot is also the king of house manners, with top-notch obedience skills and an impressive calmness during storms and fireworks. Groot is a dedicated yard guardian, always on the lookout to keep the squirrels and bunnies at bay. While his strong prey drive may keep your garden free of pesky critters, he has an equally determined opinion about neighborhood cats, so a feline-free home would be best. When it comes to people, Groot is all about quality over quantity. He’s a bit shy with strangers and prefers slow, respectful introductions that allow him to warm up on his own time. Because of his cautious nature, a calm and adult-only home without the unpredictability of children is ideal for him. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and independent companion who balances adventure with relaxation and appreciates a low-key social circle, Groot might just be your perfect match! Submit your adoption application at the MAS website below to find out! D.O.B. is 09/06/20 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Story
Meet Eddie! Eddie came to us as a stray and sadly nobody came for him so he is now searching for a new forever home! Eddie is a Labrador retriever/hound mix that is about 5 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. Eddie is a very happy go lucky boy that loves to be around people and being the hound mix he is, loves to talk! Eddie is housebroken and is good with kids, doesn’t seem to mind the cats and is good with the other dogs. We do require a dog intro with any future k-9 siblings to make sure everyone gets along. Eddie is up to date on his vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped & neutered! If you are interested in making Eddie a part of your family please contact the shelter directly at 989-831-7302 to set up an appointment to meet him! *All adoptions are done by appointment only*

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hello there! My name is Poptart and I'm a sweet little girl looking for a family. My story is a sad one. A nice lady saw a man driving me and my siblings around in the back of his pick-up truck...and then, he dumped us all in the wilderness to fend for ourselves! My siblings and I were terrified. The woods were dark and scary. Luckily, the nice lady who saw us get dumped called Beagle Freedom Project right away. Staff at Freedom Fields rushed to find me, and after lots of time and patience, they rescued me and my family! When we first arrived to Freedom Fields, I was shaking in fear. After some loving and lots of treats, my tail has started wagging. I love being pet, and I love other dogs. I'm still pretty scared and getting used to being loved. Freedom Fields staff doesn't think anyone has ever pet or cuddled me before. I can't believe how much I've been missing! I'm looking for a patient family full of love to show me that not all humans will abandon me. Will you take me home? My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. ABOUT BEAGLE FREEDOM PROJECT: Beagle Freedom Project is the world's leading organization for rescuing and rehoming animals used in experimental research.
