Story
Despite his Halloween-ready name, this handsome hound is about as scary as a marshmallow. He’s all tail wags, goofy grins, and zoomies galore—no ghost stories here, just good vibes and belly rubs. Spookey is a young pup still brushing up on his manners, but his enthusiasm for life (and snacks) makes every training session a party. He’s a certified goofball who finds joy in everything, from sprinting around the yard with his dog friends to flopping over for belly rubs or discovering that treats are basically magic. He’s the type of dog who’ll make you laugh daily, melt your heart hourly, and probably convince you to share your snacks before the day’s over. If you’re looking for a cheerful sidekick who’s equal parts silly, sweet, and snack-motivated, Spookey’s your guy—no tricks, just treats. Want to meet him? Submit an adoption application at the MAS website to schedule a visit and see if this not-so-spooky sweetheart is your perfect match! Story
Imagine the perfect pairing of personalities, like peanut butter and jelly, or sun and sea. Well, fate has decided to bring you and this handsome boy together. Say hello to Groot, a sturdy yet snuggly adventurer with the perfect blend of energy and relaxation! This handsome boy knows how to turn any day into a great one with his love for water play, car rides, and a good ol' tennis ball chase. When he wants a little extra attention or a treat, he’ll let out an adorable chirpy whine—a sound so unique it’s bound to make you smile every time! Groot is also the king of house manners, with top-notch obedience skills and an impressive calmness during storms and fireworks. Groot is a dedicated yard guardian, always on the lookout to keep the squirrels and bunnies at bay. While his strong prey drive may keep your garden free of pesky critters, he has an equally determined opinion about neighborhood cats, so a feline-free home would be best. When it comes to people, Groot is all about quality over quantity. He’s a bit shy with strangers and prefers slow, respectful introductions that allow him to warm up on his own time. Because of his cautious nature, a calm and adult-only home without the unpredictability of children is ideal for him. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and independent companion who balances adventure with relaxation and appreciates a low-key social circle, Groot might just be your perfect match! Story
Odin needs a home that is patient and willing to put the time in. He is looking for a home where he can be an only pet, and that there is no small kiddos. He loves to go for walks, but his favorite thing to do is to bask out in the sunshine watching the yard for squirrels. Oden is a big love bug once he knows you, but he does take some time to warm up. A quiet home with little traffic would be great for this boy. Please check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1. Scout is a Labrador Retriever mix that is only about 1 year old and weighs around 60 pounds. Scout loves to play and run around, an active family would be ideal for him! Story
Hello, my name is Kora. I am a very high energy american chocolate lab that loves to run, play and chew. I like to cuddle on people's lap, and be the center of attention. I get along with kids of all ages, even letting younger ones lay on me, but older kids would be better since I get the zoomies occasionally and forget what's around me. However I do have areas I need some help with. I am a bit reactive and have been on a calming medicine for the last year or so. I tend to lose control when other dog get excited. I should not be in a home with cats as my hunting instinct seems to be a bit high. I've never harmed a cat but I chase them as soon as I see them. I struggle a bit when left unattended, by counter surfing (I LOVE food and want to eat whatever is available) and looking for items to chew or eat. I'm looking to find a new home to run and play, and make a happy life. I need a new owner that has more time and experience to help work through some of my special quirks.

Story
Woof! I'm Iggy, the sweetest labrador mix you could ever hope to meet- seriously, I am a total doll! I may be nearly 60lbs, but I'm a certified lap dog! All that I want is to cuddle up to someone who loves me and spend all day together snuggling or playing fetch! I have so much love to give and can't wait to find a furever home with a family who will adore me. I love every person that I meet and do amazing with all other dogs- I've never met a pup that I didn't try to play with or befriend! Even though I'm an absolute sweetheart, my life hasn't always been easy... I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project after someone witnessed me being thrown out of a moving car! Can you believe that somebody would be so cruel to a gentle and loving boy like me? Since my rescue, I've been spending every day at Beagle Freedom Project's sanctuary, Freedom Fields, where I'm busy living it up with all of my pup friends-- but what would make me happiest is to finally have the real home I've always dreamed of. I promise to be the most loyal and loving companion ever for my adopter. Could you be the person to finally choose me? In return, I'll give you all of tail wags and kisses every day! My ideal home: An active househould (I love to snuggle AND play!) My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* *Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter is able to travel to the animal's current location for pickup.* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org.
