Story
This is Benny, hes a 10 month purebred akc yellow lab. I got him in November of this year and I quickly found out I just dont have enough time for this sweet boy. He deserves a better home. He is not up to date on shots, all he has right now is flea and tick. I havent had time to get him in for his exams. He is very energetic and very playful. He is not fully crate trained yet but I was in the process of doing so. He is potty trained and does pretty well on a leash. He is a major lover and will snuggle with you anytime of the day. If you have any more questions you can reach me at (xxx) xxx-xxxx . Please do not call as I will think its spam. Please text. Thank you

Story
Maple is a lab/aussie who has lots of energy and absolutely loves humans. Be aware that her energy can be a little rough for younger ones. She loves to play with cats and can play fetch and knows how to sit. She absolutely loves bath and will jump in your bathtub waiting for you to turn on the water. She is mostly potty trained as she is under a year old but has been very good when treats are involved. We got her before knowing I was pregnant and it unfortunately has taken a toll on me and my younger son isn’t too fond with her because of her energy. I am looking for someone who is able to take the time to train her and to give her to a great home!

Story
Imagine the perfect pairing of personalities, like peanut butter and jelly, or sun and sea. Well, fate has decided to bring you and this handsome boy together. Say hello to Groot, a sturdy yet snuggly adventurer with the perfect blend of energy and relaxation! This handsome boy knows how to turn any day into a great one with his love for water play, car rides, and a good ol' tennis ball chase. When he wants a little extra attention or a treat, he’ll let out an adorable chirpy whine—a sound so unique it’s bound to make you smile every time! Groot is also the king of house manners, with top-notch obedience skills and an impressive calmness during storms and fireworks. Groot is a dedicated yard guardian, always on the lookout to keep the squirrels and bunnies at bay. While his strong prey drive may keep your garden free of pesky critters, he has an equally determined opinion about neighborhood cats, so a feline-free home would be best. When it comes to people, Groot is all about quality over quantity. He’s a bit shy with strangers and prefers slow, respectful introductions that allow him to warm up on his own time. Because of his cautious nature, a calm and adult-only home without the unpredictability of children is ideal for him. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and independent companion who balances adventure with relaxation and appreciates a low-key social circle, Groot might just be your perfect match! Submit your adoption application at the MAS website below to find out! D.O.B. is 09/06/20 For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas. Please fill out our online adoption application and survey at https://mackenzies.info/adopt/adoption-survey-application/

Story
Gender: Female Age: # 1/2 Breed/Color: Lab / Black Location: Gregory, MI Pet ID: 2024_12 Adoption Fee: $350 Princess aka Prissy is one heck of an amazing dog!! She is a lab/hound mix. She has not seen a lot of new things, so she can be shy at first ... ohhhh but don't let that fool you!. She is used to and LOVES cats. Dogs are new to her, but man oh man she can play with them or leave them because she can play by herself!. She is a bit on the chunky side, so clearly she is food motivated in life. She does not know very many commands, but she is not unruly or ill mannered. Princess is the perfect dog for ANY home! Kids? Great! Cats? Great! None of that? GREAT! To adopt an animal from our sanctuary, the first step is to submit an application. *Please note we adopt within the state of MICHIGAN ONLY* The process takes a few weeks. It involves vet and personal reference checks and interview of applicant. There are no exceptions … Please remember that we are all volunteers and it may take a week or so after we receive your application to be contacted. Sometimes several people may be interested in the same pet, so please remember that not every animal is right for every home. To ensure a healthy and happy placement for our pets and their new families, we take the time to evaluate each animal’s temperament and try to match the right animal to the right family. OUR ADOPTION GUIDELINES All fees are subject to change without notice. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee the animal will be adopted to you. We do not work on a first come first serve basis. We collect applications and make our best determination on where we think the animal would thrive the best. We have the right to deny any applicant without explanation, and the decision is final. Very rarely do we get written documentation of an animal’s age and breed. We do not guarantee these, we work with professionals to help make the best determination. All of our foster homes follow a 30 Day Stay policy and do not make ANY exceptions. This policy requires every animal who comes into foster care, to stay in foster care for a minimum of 30 day before going to their forever home.
