Story
Oh la la! My name is Paris and I’m a 7-month-old, 30lb black Lab mix and I’m tres to find my forever home! I was rescued from a culvert in Alabama with my siblings and being able to live in a home with a family is fantastic! I sleep all night in my crate, tell my family when I need to go outside, and I'm an excellent traveler in the car. I’m being fostered in Battle Creek, Michigan.I am incredibly curious and have a lot of energy, so my foster family is working with me on my manners (I'm pretty small and just want to see everything!) but I'm getting better everyday at sitting, laying down and not jumping on people to say hello. I'm still a little food insecure, so be careful of leaving food on the counter, but that also means I'm extremely food motivated - I'll do just about anything for a treat! I do have some anxiety around bath time, so my future family will need to work with me on that. I LOVE kids and I’m not very interested in cats.I’m fully-vetted and my adoption fee is $350. Questions about me? Ready to make me a part of your family? Email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. and request an adoption application. I can’t wait to meet you! I will definitely bring a lot of life, laughs, and love to your home!November 2, 2024, 10:53 pm

Story
Hi there! My name is Faye, and I’m a female 3-year-old black Lab/German Shepherd mix with a lot of love to give. I weigh about 60lbs and have a shiny black coat that I love showing off. I’ve got a half flip (one ear up, one down), which everyone says makes me look extra cute! Before I was rescued, I found myself in dire straits - as a black dog in a southern shelter, my odds weren’t very good.  I’m currently  living with a wonderful foster family in Byron Center, MI, but what I really want is a forever home where I can share all my love and happiness.I absolutely love people and get along great with dogs of all sizes. Playing outside is one of my favorite things to do, especially when I get to catch frisbees or patrol the yard for squirrels. I have a special stuffed toy, my “baby,” that I carry around gently—I never tear it apart because it’s my favorite.I’m very in tune with my person and love going on adventures. I’m gentle when taking treats and I’m quiet inside the house. I’ve learned some basic commands and am always eager to make my person happy. I walk on a leash, but sometimes I get excited and might lunge if I see another dog or a squirrel, so I need a fully FENCED-IN YARD to keep me safe.I’m housebroken, crate-trained, fully-vetted and ready to join your family with an adoption fee of $300. If you have questions about me, please email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Think we’re a perfect match? Please fill out the adoption application by visiting our website at www.projecthoperescue.com. Story
Who says blind puppies can't have a normal, happy, fun life??!!Nugget (Chicky/Nuggy as we like to call him) says hold my pup cup, and I'll show you !This handsome lab mix boy is approximately 4.5 months old, 35 lbs and growing, fully vetted, and looking for his next adventure with his forever family.Nugget is potty and crate trained. He loves being outside and playing with other dogs. Cat compatibility is unknown, but with proper introduction and training, he should do fine. He is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Because of his blindness (unknown cause), he does startle easily and will need a family who is patient, understanding, and can help him with his confidence. Nugget does require a fully fenced yard. He is fully vetted and microchipped. If you have any questions not answered here, please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Story
Howdy! I’m Hope, a beautiful 1-year-old, 40-pound black Lab mix with one ear that just loves to flip the wrong way—it’s kind of my signature look! I had a lot of things stacked against me - I was a black dog living in a Texas shelter and I had Parvo - both of which can be a death sentence for a lot of dogs - but I was so lucky to have been Rescued by Project Hope! I don’t even have any lasting side effects of the Parvo - how lucky am I?!At my first foster home in Texas, I discovered two things I absolutely love: water and playing fetch with my doggy friends. Now that I’m in Monroe, Michigan, I’m living with a couple of tiny humans (toddlers), a kid and my foster sister dog, and I adore them all! I play hard, but I cuddle even harder. My favorite toys are balls and my stuffed dragon, Pete. I’m also a big fan of snuggling on the couch after a fun day of fetch.I’m housebroken, love riding in a car, crate-trained and love my crate. I even cuddle with the resident dog in my crate. I know a lot of basic commands, though I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash. I’m a quick learner, so I’ll get it soon with a little more practice! I’d do best in a home with another dog to play with, an active family to keep me engaged and a FENCED-IN YARD where I can run and play fetch to my heart’s content.I’m fully-vetted, microchipped and my adoption fee is $300. If you think we could be the perfect match, I’d love to meet you! If you have any questions about me, please email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Ready to bring me home? Please fill out an adoption application by visiting our website at www.projecthoperescue.org. Let’s play fetch and then snuggle up for some couch time—I can’t wait to be your forever buddy!November 8, 2024, 8:49 pm

Story
Hello, my name is Mason, I am a 2-year-old Yellow Lab Mix. I was found as a stray in La Grange, Indiana.  I was residing at the Ark animal shelter, where I took on the hearts of the whole staff.  An amazing group RPSM recruited me to go to Coldwater prison to be officially trained on improving my manners and discipline.  RPSM contacted my current foster parents to pick me up from Ark Animal Shelter, to care for me till my big day to start my training.  Since being with my current foster family, I have learned how to be a dog again…. be with multiple dogs, cats, and other pets. I enjoy being around small children, and playing and running like a dog should be able to.  I have been working on house breaking, which is going well but will need continued reinforcement.  I am a big goofy teddy bear who loves constantly being with people. I have a Velcro personality. Watch me when I get my zoomies. I am great on a leash with very little pulling. I am crate trained and sleep in a crate overnight without problems. I will make a great addition to any family. On Nov 1st, I enter training for 10 weeks to learn my manners and maybe some cute tricks. Submit your app today. If approved to adopt me, you will receive my weekly reports until I come home with you On Jan 10th. I’m neutered and I’m UTD on all my vaccines, HW, FT, and have a microchip of my own.  RPSM recommends children 6 years and older.  I will require a fenced in yard, either physical or underground. If you are interested in adopting me, please go to www.rpsm.org to fill out an application. My adoption fee is $300. ##2187534##

Story
Hello everyone! My name is Rory, and I’m so excited to introduce myself. I’m a cute little 5-month-old petite female Lab mix weighing in at 24lbs. I came to my foster home in Monroe, MI with my two sisters, and we made some pawsome new friends here – a sweet foster dog sister and a fun dog foster brother and I met my foster cousin! We were rescued in Texas with our mom when things weren’t going so well, but Project Hope swooped in and saved us. Now, I’m ready to find my forever family!I’m working really hard on learning to go potty outside, but sometimes I just can’t hold it yet. Luckily, my foster mom has puppy pads for me, and I use those when needed. I get to go play outside with the big boys in the fenced in yard, and I love running back to the door with the other dogs – especially because I get a treat! I even know how to sit when it’s time for those yummy treats, I’m learning the meaning of gentle when it’s time for my treat. One of my favorite things is being held and snuggled, and if you ask, I’ll happily give you a little puppy kiss! I love belly rubs, I’ll even let you know when I want one with a yip. I love playing with stuffed animals, especially the ones that crinkle - they're so much fun! I’ve met the neighbors and I really liked their little boy and girl. There are cats upstairs in my foster home, I’ve ventured up there a few times, and they seem to like me. I would rather play with their toys then talk to them though.I just know there's someone out there who will fall in love with me and want to bring me home. Could that be you? I'm spayed, fully-vetted, microchipped and my adoption fee is $350. Questions about me? Please email projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Ready to bring me home? Fill out the adoption application by visiting our website at www.projecthoperescue.org. I can't wait to meet you!        November 21, 2024, 12:06 pm
