Story
Hershey is 1.5-2yrs old Male Bridle XL Bullybreed. Hershey is a sweet boy loves being around people likes to play but also loves to cuddle up on the couch. He is about 80lbs. He knows basic training and commands. Being rehomed though is no fault of his own due to unexpected housing changes. Hershey has done well with other dogs but he has not been around many, has not interacted much with young kids or cats but is very friendly just sometimes doesn't know his size.

Story
Hi Everyone! My name is Anna and I am about 8 months old. I was found with a neck wound from something being too tight and also my harness needed to be cut off because I was growing into it. Very sad BUT now I am safe and looking for my forever home. I seem to love everyone and enjoy the company of dogs. I am currently almost 50lbs and still have some growing to do. I have lots of energy so if you are an activity person looking for a buddy to keep up with you- I AM YOUR GIRL!! I LOVE treats and can't wait to start training with my forever human.  If interested in meeting me, please fill out an application TODAY! We could be best friends in no time.  We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.   December 22, 2024, 4:26 pm

Story
**Adoption Pending** Birdie has the most adorable pouty lips! She is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 41 pounds. Oh my goodness, what a sweetie Birdie is! She is affectionate, gentle, and really loves to lean into you and stay close. Be prepared to be showered with kisses too, there is never a shortage of those with her! Truly, her only care is to seek affection and maybe try to sneak up in your lap. While she can be a little bit unsure at times and hand shy, with the right family, she will just blossom. Birdie needs a leader to rely on and trust. Confidence building and some basic obedience training will be important for her. She will need a fun, active home where any children are at least 8 years old with her timid nature. Birdie is a treasure and is sure to bring so much love and joy to her forever home. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Birdie would love to meet them. She has a soft, loose approach with other dogs. She is very interested in other dogs and wants to interact and play, she is also very in tune with her handler and likes to “check in” with you. If you are interested in Birdie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
